Suburban area, Rocky Beach.
Zorro parked the Jeep by the roadside, Allen Zhang got out of the car to take in the scenery, and Zorro took out a black box from his pocket, after opening it, he started ticulously maintaining and assembling so gun parts.
After waiting for a while, they saw a van driving from a distance, Bailey and lvin got out and greeted the General Sect Leader, "Boss, they’re all here."
"Mm, good work." Allen Zhang slightly smiled, then glanced at the few scavengers in the van.
The Beggar Gang Disciples also got out of the car imdiately, taking shovels and canvas bags out of the trunk and began digging holes on the spot.
Maji and his scavenger buddies got out of the car with looks of uncertainty, eyeing Zorro who was assembling his pistol and loading bullets, a figure not to be ssed with, and the Beggar Gang Disciples beside him with shovels digging holes, they quickly sensed that sothing was off.
Hurriedly they said, "Boss Bailey, didn’t we agree to work in the suburbs? What’s the aning of coming here?"
"Ask our boss, huh? Don’t you admire Mr. Jin a lot? My boss is right here; this is Mr. Jin." lvin said, pointing at the General Sect Leader.
Allen Zhang watched their panicked faces and leisurely asked, "I heard you admire a lot and want to join ?"
"That’s right, Mr. Jin, I do admire you greatly and want to beco a respected figure like you." Maji glanced at the unfriendly-looking Zorro, feeling terrified, but still, under pressure, he plucked up the courage to speak.
"Then tell , what is it about that you admire?" asked Allen Zhang.
"Because you always think about the holess at the bottom, teaching people to be good, never bullying others, not leading people astray, but instead trying to give everyone a chance to earn money legitimately. Others take a huge cut and only give their subordinates a tiny profit, but you only take 20%, and you often stand up for your guys." Maji racked his brains to piece together all the rumors he had heard on the streets.
"Anything else?" asked Allen Zhang.
"As long as soone is talented, they will be highly valued by you, and not only are you wise and mighty, but you are also generous. Mr. Jin’s kindness can never be repaid."
"Go on?" the General Sect Leader said with interest.
"..." Maji was at a loss for words.
"Why did you choose to co to ? After causing trouble, wouldn’t it be better to head to San Francisco or the countryside? You had many options, so why continue to stay in Los Angeles?" Allen Zhang asked in a calm tone.
Maji was stunned for a mont, and then forcefully replied, "Mr. Jin, I don’t know what you are talking about."
"Do I need to remind you? The factory fire at Pike Recycling Company, that was your doing, right?"
Allen Zhang slightly smiled, and upon hearing this, Maji and his buddies were taken aback.
"Who doesn’t know that the street holess in Zone 5 never start trouble, only wanting to focus on working to earn money? Were you trying to use my team as a shield to protect yourself from the heat, bringing trouble my way?" Allen Zhang’s smile faded.
Maji gasped, not expecting that their whereabouts would be exposed so quickly, but he still stubbornly resisted, speaking with resentful indignation, "Mr. Jin, I really don’t know what you’re talking about."
"Playing tough?"
Allen Zhang wasn’t surprised by this, "Alright, let’s see if your mouth is tougher, or the ground."
He waved his hand, "Bury them alive."
The Beggar Gang Disciples imdiately rolled up their sleeves and surrounded several people. Seeing this, the scavengers were instantly panicked.
"Boss, we’re done for."
Maji was both shocked and angry, "Don’t co over, don’t co over! We really don’t know anything."
Zorro pointed the gun at his temple and sneered, "When you’re lying underground forever, you’ll be able to rember everything."
The Beggar Gang Disciples rushed in, pinning the people to the ground, and with guns pointed at them, they dared not struggle. They were quickly tied up, a bag was placed over their heads, and then they were pushed into the graves that had been dug.
"Damn it! I want a fair fight with you! If you’re a man, co and face one-on-one!" Maji was falling apart, barking at Zorro and the Beggar Gang Disciples on the scene.
"In my life, I’ve never heard such an unreasonable request. Are you living in the last century?"
Allen Zhang was amused, sitting on the hood of the car, fiddling with a revolver.
"Just bury him."
One of the Beggar Gang Disciples kicked Maji into the pit, cursing, "Youngster, you think you’re worthy to challenge us? You think this is the streets of Texas? A cowboy duel? Better rember this in your next life!!"
He then swung his shovel and began shoveling dirt.
Feeling the cold mud splashing on his face, skin sore and reddened, Maji completely panicked. Seeing they were serious, he yelled, "Wait! I was wrong! I rember everything now! It did happen!"
Allen Zhang gave lvin a look, and he took out a cara and set it up. They pulled the people out of the pit, untied the ropes, fixed their makeup, and even brought a stool for them to sit on.
They even stuffed a box lunch into his hands, along with a bottle of authentic Dr. Pepper.
"..."
Maji sat there dumbfounded, still unable to react to the rapid change in situation.
Just now, he was screaming in the pit, and the next second, everything was ready for him.
