Mia Bock was trying her best to digest Janine Woburg’s words, when suddenly a sentence from Janine Woburg flashed in her mind.
“You say your identity is more sensitive—is it because Donnie fears the Woburg Family?”

Walker clicked his tongue in admiration, but still asked Donnie out of curiosity, “Is the UK market really so important that you’d risk bringing a British noble here?”
The UK market, indeed important, was not as significant to Donnie as the market in the East.
But for now, it was impossible for Donnie to discuss such matters with Walker.

Donnie smiled and said, “Isn’t the amount deposited at Breton Bank currently increasing? Besides, I’m already a mber of the Federal Reserve Council and a shareholder of the Federal Reserve. I think when it cos to overseeing this matter, it won’t be too strict. Allowing Breton Bank to issue loans beyond its limit shouldn’t be a problem either!”

Donnie nodded, “Naturally. Otherwise, this could have been planned at a slower pace!”
Walker asked, “Didn’t you say this matter would only happen next year when they take action?”
Returning from Europe, Walker and Donnie had had a deep conversation, during which Donnie finally revealed his plans to team up with Morgan and Rothschild to target those European speculators.
One of Donnie’s reasons included inviting both Walker and Walker’s wife, Maholi, to join the effort.
Currently, Donnie’s foundations were still far behind those of Morgan and Rothschild.
Even by next year, when Donnie could gather substantial funds, the scope of the European operation would still render his resources like a drop in the bucket.
Thus, Donnie needed more allies.
“Those European speculators will certainly squeeze out every last penny; otherwise, they wouldn’t invest more funds.
That’s why next year will be the right ti for Rothschild and Morgan to act. But we should prepare in advance for such things. Even if we cannot fully control the initiative, we should be clear-headed every step of the way.”
Upon hearing this, Walker nodded.
Donnie understood Walker’s second question.
Without needing Walker to remind him, Donnie had already answered: “I’ve discussed with Jack Morgan and Old Rockefeller. Both of them have no objections to your joining the Tarot Society. As for Washington, I’ll personally negotiate with Coolidge and the others—it won’t be problematic!”
It was now October, and in just one month’s ti, the Tarot Society would hold its annual formal eting!

Donnie would serve as Walker’s sponsor, formally bringing Walker into the Tarot Society.
However, Walker wouldn’t imdiately beco a Level 13 mber upon joining the Tarot Society. Based on internal analysis within the Tarot Society, Walker was expected to beco a Level 7 mber.
Once Walker brought more benefits to the Tarot Society, or his status, influence, and wealth further increased, his rank would undoubtedly rise!
Walker gave a smile and said, “So, this ans I’ll be heading to Washington with you this November?”
Donnie nodded, “Coolidge may have succeeded as President, but there’s still an election awaiting him next year. At that ti, the Tarot Society will resolve the matter of supporting Coolidge!”
After Harding’s death, the Tarot Society had held an internal eting during which Coolidge assured those present that if he beca President, he would bring them great benefits.
Since the interests of all were aligned, they were willing to support Coolidge’s success in next year’s election.
Walker stated with so emotion, “Who would’ve thought!”
Donnie laughed and asked, “Who would’ve thought what?”
Walker said, “I was just thinking about when the two of us first t. Back then, you were rely an ambitious businessman from Atlantic City, and I was nothing more than a destitute illegitimate child.
But it’s only been a few years, and we’re already at the point of influencing the election of the President of the United States!”
Donnie burst into laughter and said, “I think you should save your sentints for the day we can directly decide who becos President!”
Walker also laughed heartily, “Do you think that day will co?”
Donnie contemplated and replied, “I believe it will!”
