Donnie nodded and said, “Of course, I’m doing this for your health!”

“Can I make a request then?”

“For the next month, please don’t let Helen co to my room!” Alice whispered.

Donnie laughed heartily and said, “Alice, has anyone told you how particularly beautiful you are today?”
“Of course, when am I ever not beautiful!” Alice said proudly.
Donnie nodded and said, “I think so too, but a beautiful lady, you’ve just been too tired. You should rest properly now. I’ll co see you again in the evening, by that ti, little Theodore and the others should have also arrived!”
Donnie had already called young Theodore about Alice’s childbirth earlier. Theodore, currently idle at ho after failing to beco Governor of New York, indicated he would arrive in Atlantic City soon.
“Mm!” Alice nodded.
