Chapter 853: 292. The complete appearance of Atlantic City

Donnie returned to Atlantic City and finally received a call from Paul Warburg in New York!

In the phone call, Paul Warburg had the sa humble deanor as Felix Warburg, expressing his gratitude to Donnie first and stating that he would soon co to Atlantic City to formally negotiate with Donnie about the Kuhn, Loeb & Co. consortium investing in Atlantic City.

Donnie naturally had no objections, and also expressed that he would provide Paul Warburg with a grand reception on his side.

In the following days, Donnie started wandering around Atlantic City every day, visiting every corner of the city.

In such a wait, Paul Warburg arrived in Atlantic City.

Donnie did not receive Paul Warburg in the office of Surf Hotel, but in the East District of Atlantic City, near the beach.

This place is different from the boardwalks of Atlantic City; it is still unexplored beachfront but direct across is Brigantine City in New Jersey.

“Mr. Block, I must say, your vision is unique; this place is indeed very worthy of investnt!”

Paul Warburg guessed Donnie’s intention even without an introduction from Donnie, and the doubts in his mind about Donnie diminished sowhat.

Now, as the best investnt city nationwide, Donnie has many friends across the country; Paul Warburg was always wondering why Donnie chose them.

Is it just because of the previous protests?

Obviously, that’s impossible; those protests can at most cause so trouble for Donnie, but not enough for Donnie to let the Kuhn, Loeb & Co. consortium enter Atlantic City.

So, Paul Warburg has been pondering this recently, he could not ascertain Donnie’s true intentions, but the lure of investing in Atlantic City was too great.

This potential couldn’t be ignored by Paul Warburg, so he eventually decided to co to Atlantic City personally to discuss it with Donnie.

Donnie now inviting him here like this made Paul Warburg feel pleased.

“On the west side here is the under-construction North District, the previous predominantly black district!” Donnie turned and pointed northward, where one could even see the bustling construction site from here.

“I’ve already discussed with the person in charge of Apollo Chain, and in the future, two large shopping malls will be built there with various luxury brands, providing more shopping options for tourists coming to Atlantic City.

In addition, this place will be transford into a huge recreational area, bringing in various entertainnt facilities.

With the increasing number of tourists visiting Atlantic City, a single Surf Hotel is no longer enough to accommodate the number of visitors, so we plan to build two top-tier hotels here, and I’ve already discussed with City Hall and the State Governnt, these two hotels as subsidiaries of Surf Hotel, will have the rights to use Surf Hotel’s gambling license in Atlantic City to operate gaming businesses!”

Each of Donnie’s words ca as a ringing sound to Paul Warburg’s ears.

The reason Paul Warburg wants to invest in Atlantic City is that he sees the developnt potential of the city, and the things Donnie is discussing now are certainly going to push Atlantic City to another peak.

The large shopping malls would offer visitors the peak of consur experience.

The newly erging casinos will certainly attract more gamblers!

If everything goes according to Donnie’s plan, the whole of Atlantic City would beco a treasury of the United States.

Donnie did not give Paul Warburg much ti to think further and continued.

“In addition, I’ve ordered Trident Shipyard to build two luxury cruise ships. The first luxury cruise ship will open a route from Houston, Texas to Atlantic City, and the other will open a route from Seattle, Washington State to Los Angeles, California. At that ti in Los Angeles, there will be two dedicated trains, one directly from Los Angeles to Atlantic City and the other from Los Angeles to Houston, then taking a cruise ship to Atlantic City.

At that ti, tourists heading to Atlantic City, as long as they spend a certain amount, we will waive all their travel expenses.”

Even Paul Warburg, being a top figure in Arica, was inevitably amazed by Donnie’s plan at this mont.

Donnie’s plan almost encompasses the entire coastline of the United States.

If we add the rail routes of inland cities, it would encompass all tourists in the entire country!

“Oh, I’ve heard that many airplane companies are researching manned flights, and for the next few years, we in Atlantic City will continuously keep an eye on this, and as soon as there is a breakthrough in this technology, we will imdiately acquire an airline and build an airport in Atlantic City to open nationwide flights to Atlantic City!”

Donnie unreservedly shared the plan for developing Atlantic City with Paul Warburg.

“Besides these, I also plan to transform this place into a new financial center, inviting major financial institutions to set up in Atlantic City, at which ti I will propose to the State Governnt and City Hall to provide more convenient tax policies here for major financial companies!”
