Chapter 600: 213, John’s Ambition, The Farm’s Doomsday_3 Chapter 600: 213, John’s Ambition, The Farm’s Doomsday_3 “When did you ever tell that, are you out of your mind?”

“Didn’t I say it?” John, with no doubt in his mind, rubbed his head and skeptically looked at Donnie.

“No!” Donnie said with certainty.

After thinking for a while, John suddenly laughed carelessly, “Well, if I didn’t say it, now’s a good ti to tell you about my brilliant idea…

Oh, right, you were asking why I ca here?

Let tell you, I ca for her, and she is a crucial part of my genius plan!”

While speaking, John pointed at the Broadway actress singing on stage!

“Mansfield?”

Donnie looked at John with confusion and asked, “What about her?”

Mansfield could be described as one of the hottest Broadway actresses of the mont, of course, that na was just her stage na.

She was originally an Irish immigrant who, along with her mother, moved from Ireland to Mansfield, Ohio, in 1885.

...

Later, she took the na of that city as her stage na.

In 1912, she made her Broadway debut in “Little Won.”

She then began her career as a model and a dance perforr.

In 1917, she entered Hollywood, shooting films one after the other, such as “Max Wants a Divorce,” “Broadway Bill,” “The Perfect Mistress,” and “Ziegfeld’s Follies,” until the 1920 release of “Dr.

Jekyll and Mr.

Hyde,” which truly made her a Hollywood sensation.

Curiously, after her big break, she did not take advantage of her success to release a series of films; instead, she went to learn vaudeville, and a year later, in 1922, Mansfield starred in the films “Queen of the Moulin Rouge” and “Goodbye,” both of which achieved significant box office success.

John boasted with a smile, “What I was thinking, you see, when I went to the Surf Hotel and saw the performance in the hall.

The performances in Surf Hotel’s hall are good, but the audience is made up of all sorts, and though it’s lively, it also deters so people who care about their status from wanting to be seen in such company.

So, I figured there should be a venue in Atlantic City specifically for the rich to spend their money.”

“I rember you telling that once wealth reaches a certain level, one no longer lacks for won, any type of beautiful won can be found again, so for those whose wealth has reached that level, what they need is won with a certain social standing to willingly open their wallets and flock to them.

That’s why I plan to set up such a club in Atlantic City.

All the money before, I’ve spent it on this!”

This isn’t that just a Crazy Horse show?

After listening to John’s explanation, Donnie imdiately started to calculate in his mind.

A Thai woman debuting in Korea and making it big in Europe, isn’t she just like our K-pop stars who are constantly worrying their fans by performing in Crazy Horse shows for their boyfriends?

As for her boyfriend…

forget it, Donnie didn’t believe that he considered her as a girlfriend anyway.

Although Westerners are more open-minded, they’re not that open yet!

“Are you trying to say that as long as those rich guys spend money, they can go on stage and get a little love touch from your perforrs?”

Donnie couldn’t help but ask.

John stroked his chin, considering the idea seriously, “Your suggestion isn’t bad, I’ll rember that!”

Donnie: “…”

Forget it, if John wants to deal with such business, let him be.

For now, Donnie was sure he wouldn’t touch such a business; it was too degrading for him at this point.

“I’m telling you, the reason I ca here is actually to invite Mansfield to be the first actress to perform at my club.

How about it, she’s quite the catch, right?”

John shared his plan with Donnie, full of enthusiasm.

Mansfield was, after all, the epito of a sexy actress of the period.

But with John’s club…

well, it was bound to be rather risqué.

Now that Mansfield had made her na, would she accept John’s invitation?

Donnie rely asked out of pure curiosity.

“Ha!” John scoffed disdainfully, “Won, as long as I pay them well, I don’t care who they are, surely they will obey.

If she doesn’t, I’ll make sure she realizes I’ve got more than just money to show her!”

Looking at John’s classic villainous grin, Donnie, with distaste, said, “Give a ticket when it opens!”

John imdiately responded with joy, “Of course, naturally!

But on this matter, you need to help out!”

Donnie waved his hand, “Forget it, I won’t get involved in such things!”

John wasn’t put off by Donnie’s attitude, “I’m not asking you to co forward, just give the contact information of your business partners.

I’ll write them invitation letters personally!”

After so thought, Donnie realized that to attract people to Atlantic City, it boiled down to a few things, and John’s idea perfectly filled the void in the upscale won’s sector.

Donnie then agreed to John that he would get Steve Cotting to give John those addresses once they got back to Atlantic City!

John was incredibly delighted to hear this!

.

As so found joy, others naturally found discontent.

These discontented people were Kelvin Murphy and the like, who, having lost their previous accommodations, now had to live in crudely erected, shabby tents.

Rembering their forr lives, they gnashed their teeth with hatred.

“Just give a chance, and I’ll tear these people to shreds!”
