Sitting across from Donnie, the burly man now wore a look of grievance, so out of place on his rough features that it seed incongruous!
Fearing that Doc Kearns would break into tears any second, Donnie intended to offer him a tissue, but then he rembered such things hadn't been invented yet and quickly said, "That's right!"
"And it was our mutual decision to include Caponti in the fight, wasn't it?" Doc Kearns's sense of grievance deepened.
Donnie nodded again, "That's right!"
"Then why didn't you tell when you discussed setting up a mixed martial arts competition with Tex?" Doc Kearns's voice was trembling now.
"Why should I tell you?" Tex Ricard said smugly, "This was sothing I approached Donnie about on my own. It's a separate matter, so why should we tell you?"
"Don't get too cocky, Ricard!" Doc Kearns exclaid angrily, "Don't forget, without us, George Caponti wouldn't be nearly as famous as he is now for this boxing match!"
Tex Ricard laughed, "Regarding this, both George and I are very grateful to Jack!"

Angered, Doc Kearns stood up, and the chair behind him was knocked to the floor.
"You're asking for it, Ricard!"
With those words, Doc Kearns threw a punch at Tex Ricard.
These agents, most of whom were boxers before they beca agents, may not have boxed much after taking on their new roles or managed their figures as rigorously, but they still had a solid foundation.

Doc Kearns and Tex Ricard begrudgingly nodded their heads, offering no argunt to Donnie.
It was then that Donnie continued, looking at Doc Kearns, "The mixed martial arts tournant was Tex's idea, and my Starry Entertainnt will handle the specifics. Even the venue in Atlantic City has to be built by us. So now, Doc, tell , what can you bring to this business deal that we two alone can't provide for the event?
Otherwise, why should we allow you to join?"
