Donnie just talked about the issues of the llon Consortium to William llon.

As for how William llon would integrate the llon Consortium in such an environnt, that was his own concern.

After leaving the llon Consortium, Donnie went to see the ailing Old Rockefeller.

In the original tiline, Old Rockefeller actually passed away in May this year.

For so unknown reason, Old Rockefeller is still alive now.

However, he isn’t in good health anymore.

When Donnie t Old Rockefeller this ti, the latter was already bedridden.

"I’m old; looks like I’ll soon be eting Andrew!"

Old Rockefeller lay in bed, his ntal state a bit stronger than Andrew llon’s was before.

"I think when Andrew sees you, he’ll surely envy you!"

Donnie didn’t comfort Old Rockefeller but instead started joking with him.

Andrew llon was born in 1855, and Old Rockefeller was born in 1939.

He is a full 16 years older than Andrew llon, now already 98!

Old Rockefeller laughed heartily.

"Listening to you, my heart feels much more balanced!"

Donnie laughed along: "So, Rockefeller sir, are you also planning to follow Andrew’s example and let manage the Rockefeller Family’s affairs?"

"Rest assured, I won’t do such a thing!"

Old Rockefeller differs from Andrew llon; among the second generation of the llon Family, William llon has just reached the point where he can manage the llon Consortium.

While Junior Rockefeller tends to encounter issues, Junior Rockefeller’s capabilities are much stronger than William llon’s.

Old Rockefeller can hand over the Rockefeller Family to Junior Rockefeller without worry!

"Alright, looks like I’ll have to accept this result!" Donnie expressed a disappointed look.

Old Rockefeller laughed, then slightly spaced out and remarked with so emotion: "Block, you know, every ti I see you, I feel a bit dazed.

I always imagine you to be the sa age as us old fellows, but now seeing you still so young, it makes envious enough to want to take a shot at you!"

Donnie was born in 1896, and up to this year he is just 41, at the age when a man’s mind is most resolute.

Donnie originally felt quite happy about Old Rockefeller’s words, but upon hearing the latter part, he imdiately looked at Old Rockefeller warily.

Not to bla Donnie for being wary, these old folks have watched him grow step by step; to say they don’t have thoughts of removing him, Donnie himself wouldn’t believe it.

After all, if it were Donnie facing such a formidable person he couldn’t control, the first thing he’d think of is to eliminate the other party.

Old Rockefeller saw Donnie’s expression and burst into laughter.

"Block, you don’t need to worry; no one can bear the consequences of taking you down now!"

Donnie thought it made sense; now he has hundreds of thousands of people depending on him for a living.

And those hundreds of thousands are Aricans.

Donnie has long gotten used to seeing himself as being higher because he is an Arican!

"It’s a pity, if you could foresee today back when you started in Atlantic City, at that ti..."

Donnie waved his hand, saying: "Rockefeller, don’t bring this up again, or I really will keep it in mind!"

Old Rockefeller assuredly said: "You won’t, Block, you are the most capable person I’ve ever seen; Vanderbilt, Carnegie, none of them compare to you!"

Vanderbilt and Carnegie were the most outstanding businessn of the last century in the United States.

Donnie laughed: "I’m happy you place at the sa level as them!"

Old Rockefeller sighed: "Truly wish to return to being young, at that ti I definitely would have a proper match with you!"

"I really still want to live for five hundred years?" Donnie said with a smile.

"Haha!" Old Rockefeller laughed again: "Don’t wish for five hundred years, maybe just live another hundred years!"

Donnie chuckled: "When you hit the hundred-year mark, you’ll want to live another hundred years!"

Old Rockefeller nodded, not intending to refute Donnie.

In Arican films, many tis immortals are portrayed as unhappy people.

This even influences the East, where there are talks of immortality being unfortunate.

Watching loved ones die beside oneself, such tales are said to bring boundless pain.

This is actually baseless conjecture.

For people like Donnie who stand at the top of Arican power, if possible, each of them would seek the chance of immortality.

As for so-called loved ones, frankly speaking, they can now discard such things for profit.

It wouldn’t be too much to say these people have hearts of stone.

This leads to another question: Can the wealthy simply relax and do nothing?

The truth is they indeed can, and it wouldn’t be boring, rather quite interesting.

The core issue is whether people who have earned strong power through money can accept giving up this power and just simply enjoy the ease of wealth.

Like the current Old Rockefeller, even under the current dical environnt in the United States, it’s a miracle he has lived this long.

No one knows what terrifying things are mixed in here.
