Capítulo 1639: Chapter 606: Brock Family’s Second Generation
(The first two chapters were censored… What a little snitch for reporting it, really…)
(We’ll just have to skip this part of the plot!)
When Donnie returned to the United States, it was already November, and the U.S. election was in full swing.
Donnie went to Europe secretly, but Franklin Roosevelt and so big nas in the Republican Party were aware of it.
However, when Donnie returned this ti, he made no announcent and instead secretly returned directly to Atlantic City.
In Atlantic City during this period, dayti temperatures could reach as high as 14 degrees, while nightti temperatures would drop to 2 or 3 degrees.
Donnie was wearing a casual jacket, sitting in the garden of the manor, basking in the sun.
As noon approached, a few cars drove slowly into the manor.
Several boys of varying ages got out of these cars one after another.
The manor servants inford them that Donnie Block had returned.
So they all went to the garden and saw Donnie basking in the sun.
“Dad (Uncle Donnie)!”
The oldest of these children was Michael Block, who was already 14 years old this year.
Michael Block perfectly inherited the genes of Donnie and Helen; he was tall and handso. According to the information Donnie had, he was already getting love letters from many girls at school.
Next was Lucia Block, who was about the sa age as Michael Block, just a few months younger.
Lucia Block looked more like Alice, but she wasn’t as rebellious as Alice was at her age. In fact, she was more like a dignified older sister, and all the kids in the family listened to her.
John Block II, tall and sturdy, although a few months younger than Michael Block, was already half a head taller than him.
Despite John Jr.’s burly appearance, he was actually delicate inside. If you ignored his appearance and only considered his character, no one would think he was John Block’s son.
Steve Block was 12 years old this year, with a gentle appearance, and sowhat introverted by nature. However, Donnie knew that this son of his had a story to tell inside.
At school, people dared not provoke Michael Block because he was the leader of the second generation of the Block Family, and Michael Block already had his own charm.
Everyone was more willing to follow Michael Block.
No one dared to provoke John Block because of his intimidating stature, and his mother Evelyn Block was indeed a woman who was hard to deal with.
The kids were truly afraid of Steve Block. Usually, Steve Block was always smiling to everyone; even if you said sothing wrong in front of him, Steve Block wouldn’t say anything.
But that very night, soone would throw torches into your house.
Alice scolded Steve Block many tis for this, and Steve Block always sincerely admitted his mistakes, but he would continue to handle such situations his way the next ti.
Darnell Block and Isabel Block, this pair of twins, just turned ten this year, were quite cute. The elder Darnell was calm, while Isabel was a bit more lively.
Add to this Caron Block and Emma Block’s child, Kyle Block.
These children were the second generation of the Block Family!
Donnie waved his hand, called the little ones, Darnell and Isabel, to his side, embraced them, and asked with a smile, “Are you being good at school, listening to your teachers?”
According to Donnie’s original plan, these children were supposed to receive their education in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
However, the developnt of the Turks and Caicos Islands obviously hadn’t kept pace with their age, so it was finally decided to have them educated in Atlantic City.
Now, Atlantic City had a huge advantage in education; although it didn’t have its own university, the investnt in primary and middle schools was already the highest in the United States!
Many big nas in Arican political and business circles sent their children to Atlantic City for middle school education!
Darnell obediently said, “I already finished the howork that the teacher assigned when I was at school!”
Isabel tilted her head curiously and asked, “The teacher assigned howork?”
Darnell nodded seriously, “Yes, they did!”
Isabel said, “Then I must ask the teacher tomorrow why they didn’t tell about the howork!”
Donnie laughed from the side and said, “Then you should ask your Aunt Alice; maybe she can tell you why the teacher didn’t tell you when assigning howork!”
Isabel’s little face imdiately fell; among these kids, they were most afraid not of Donnie, who they didn’t see often, nor John, who cursed incessantly and threatened to kill at the drop of a hat, nor Caron, who always smiled but gave off a constant cold feeling.
But Alice!
Alice was responsible for all these children’s education, which alone was enough to make the kids very afraid of her.
Donnie looked at Steve, smiled, and asked, “What have you been up to lately?”
Steve, with a faint smile, said, “Nothing, really. It’s just that so kid dared to tease Isabel’s hair, so I got soone to shave his head!”
Donnie nodded and said, “Well done, as an older brother, if your sister gets bullied, you should stand up for her.”
Steve imdiately bead with joy, “Dad, then could you please tell Aunt Alice about this?”
