Nate Rothschild’s words made both Duster Boqi and Warner Ditch nod in agreent. As for Duster Boqi, there’s no need to say much. Having graduated from an Ivy League university, he first joined Imperial Grain Food and then ca to Apollo Chain, making him a premium talent who has had a smooth journey.

Warner Ditch, although not as impressive on paper as Duster Boqi, still considers himself to be a cultured person.

Perhaps they didn’t think this way before, but now they truly believe Donnie is an uncultured brute.

"Alright, the stock market is about to open; maybe today Donnie will realize how foolish his previous decisions were!"

Nate Rothschild said with a smile.

As soon as he finished speaking, Nate Rothschild’s assistant excitedly ca in holding a piece of paper.

"It’s up, everything is up, every company’s stock price has increased to varying degrees!"

Nate Rothschild’s assistant was beaming with joy.

Today is September 3, 1929!

A day destined to be recorded in the history of the United States.

Because today, the US stock market reached its historical peak.

Let’s not even talk about the stock prices of those listed companies under the forr Venus Bank. Just looking at the companies that are slightly less esteed and their stock increases over the past year and a half shows what is known as the madness before destruction.

The Arican Can Company opened at $77 per share in March 1928, and today’s opening price has reached $181.875 per share.

The Arican Telephone and Telegraph Company opened at $179.5 per share in March 1928, and today’s opening price is $304 per share.

General Electric opened at $128.75 per share in March 1928, and today’s opening price is $396.25 per share.

Even Westinghouse Electric, which has always been suppressed by General Electric, saw a big increase, with an opening price of $91.625 per share in March 1928, rising to $289.875 per share today.

Seeing these numbers on the report, Nate Rothschild laughed and stood up, saying.

"Who would dare say the US is headed for a financial crisis now? I’d say the US can still rapidly develop for another ten years!"

Although so companies’ stock prices seem to have decreased, like General Motors, which opened at $139.75 per share in March 1928, today’s opening price is just $72.75 per share.

But actually, this is because General Motors underwent several stock splits in these 18 months, aiming to accumulate more funds to buy more shares of Deep Sea Bank!

By the way, today, the highest stock price of General Motors, with an opening price of $72.75 per share, reached $226.875 per share!

However, in another tiline, the actual highest price for General Motors today only reached $181.875 per share. It’s higher than the original tiline because...

The entire United States, no, the entire US along with all European speculators, turned their attention to the US stock market today.

At the close in the afternoon, Donnie smiled at Robert and asked, "The company should have made so money, right?"

Yesterday, Donnie had already instructed Robert to quickly sweep up General Motors’ stocks after today’s opening.

Buy in the morning, sell in the afternoon.

This in-and-out trade allowed World Tree Investnt Company, founded by Donnie and Robert, to nearly double its profits.

This is also why today’s highest stock price of General Motors surpassed that of the original tiline.

Actually, not only World Tree Investnt, but even the investnt company under Venus Bank operated in a similar manner. However, considering the market capacity and reaction, they didn’t invest the majority of their funds, only a small portion.

But even so, it filled their coffers.

"It’s a pity General Motors isn’t large enough; if it had the scale of Deep Sea Bank, it would be great!"

Robert remarked with so regret.

Donnie laughed heartily and said, "Be content, how many companies in the world are the size of Deep Sea Bank?"

Robert said proudly, "One!"

As the two were celebrating today’s gains, the phone on Donnie’s desk rang.

"Care to guess who’s calling?" Donnie, in a great mood, started a guessing ga with Robert.

Robert said, "Either Pierre DuPont or Anthony Rothschild!"

With one hand on the phone, Donnie said, "I think it’s probably Pierre DuPont!"

Robert said, "I’ll bet ten dollars it’s Anthony Rothschild!"

Donnie picked up the phone, and Pierre DuPont’s voice ca through.

"Mr. Block, have you seen today’s US stock market situation?"

Taking ten dollars from Robert’s hand, Donnie replied with a smile, "Already seen it. Congratulations, Mr. DuPont, on General Motors’ stock reaching a new high!"

Pierre DuPont’s voice was filled with happiness.

"Mr. Block, I think discussing a financial crisis now is no longer realistic. Let’s talk about Deep Sea Bank instead!"

Pierre DuPont had always been thinking about the actual control of Deep Sea Bank.

"Mr. Block, I know you want to recover those companies, but the current market has already shown us that recovering these companies will require at least three tis the cash they were sold for back then.

If you are willing, I can diate between you and the Rothschild Family. Although it’s impossible for them to relinquish control of these companies, you could manage them together!"

Donnie chuckled lightly and said, "So Mr. DuPont, you finally admit today that you were previously allied with the Rothschild family?"

Pierre DuPont’s tone paused, and the voice on the phone sounded sowhat embarrassed and indignant: "Mr. Block, what’s the point of saying that now?"

"Alright, it’s indeed a pointless matter!" Donnie didn’t argue with Pierre DuPont over this but simply asked, "Even if I wanted to give up so shares in Deep Sea Bank now, does the DuPont family even have cash available, Mr. DuPont?"

Pierre DuPont had been sweeping through Deep Sea Bank stocks in the stock market lately, spending an astronomical amount of cash.

Donnie didn’t believe Pierre DuPont still had much cash on hand!

"Does it matter if I have cash now? Isn’t it more important that you have cash on hand, Mr. Block?" Pierre DuPont’s voice beca increasingly cheerful.

"As long as you’re willing to sell the A shares of Deep Sea Bank, we can agree on a detail, using part of General Motors’ shares, and you can give a year to raise the remaining cash. By then, we can complete this transaction!"

Donnie laughed, "Mr. DuPont, you have a calculating mind, but I think where there’s a peak, there will be a valley. It’s not ti for to give up yet."

At this mont, except for Donnie knowing that today is about the pinnacle for the US stock market for around ten years, leading up to a downturn.

No one else believed it was a peak; they only thought it would be a starting point for stock prices for a ti to co!

Pierre DuPont was no exception, even if he was a smart person backed by the DuPont family’s think tank, they still couldn’t foresee the future.

Pierre DuPont evidently didn’t expect Donnie to be so stubborn even at this ti, and beca sowhat angry.

"Block, it’s already this late, what’s the point in being so persistent?"

"Why can’t you just accept defeat gracefully?"

Donnie remained cheerful and laughed, "Why admit defeat? I think now there’s probably no one in the world who has more cash on hand than I do, right?

And since I have the most cash, no matter the angle, I should be considered a winner in life!"

Pierre DuPont coldly said, "Cash only matters when it creates influence."
