Walker Astor shook his head, his face still serious, “Donnie, you know this is no joking matter. As a friend and partner, I strongly advise you to take this matter with caution.”
Donnie retracted his smile, saying, “First, I am very grateful for your advice, but this matter can’t be halted anymore. Everyone at Venus Bank is doing corresponding work for this matter; the gears of Venus Bank have already started turning!”
“I…” Walker Astor didn’t anticipate Donnie to be so bold. After pondering for a mont, he said, “If that’s the case, once I return to New York, I’ll imdiately begin selling part of the Astor Family’s core industry’s listed company stocks to raise as much capital as possible. If the financial crisis doesn’t occur as expected, the Astor Family’s funds could help you buy back so of those company stocks!”
If the financial crisis doesn’t occur as expected, then Venus Bank’s actions will certainly push the stock market to continue along its peak. By then, if Donnie doesn’t want to give up on these companies…
