Donnie laughed heartily and said, "That’s the reason I’m here today!"

.

After completing today’s training, Omar Bradray received a call from George Marshall.

George Marshall invited him to his room in the evening to discuss so matters.

Omar Bradray accepted the invitation without hesitation.

Such discussions were sothing Omar Bradray often participated in, so he wasn’t surprised.

However, when Omar Bradray arrived at George Marshall’s ho, he felt that sothing was off; many outstanding students from the Benning Infantry School were there.

Omar Bradray knew that these individuals were all friends of George Marshall, who often t with him alone, just like he did, to analyze battles and discuss tactics.

But it was their first ti all gathering together like this.

What surprised Omar Bradray the most was a man in plain clothes sitting among them, looking very out of place!

"Bradray, let introduce you to my good friend Mr. Donnie Block!"

George Marshall introduced Donnie to Omar Bradray with a radiant smile.

Omar Bradray naturally knew of Donnie Block, but it was his first ti eting him!

"Colonel Bradray, hello!"

Donnie stood up and said with a smile.

"Hello, Mr. Block!" Omar Bradray imdiately replied loudly.

Omar Bradray ca from an ordinary family. After graduating high school in 1910, he could only beco a railroad worker. Later, Omar Bradray was admitted to West Point Military Academy.

After graduating from West Point, Omar Bradray went to serve in the northwestern United States.

Later, he returned to West Point Military Academy to serve, and after being promoted to major, Omar Bradray was allowed to advance his studies at Benning Infantry School. This September, he would be completing his studies at Benning Infantry School!

Even though Omar Bradray is a major now, his family’s financial conditions haven’t changed, but now Omar Bradray had t one of the most famous tycoons in Arica!

"Colonel Bradray, Marshall just told that he very much appreciates your views on certain tactics. He suggested keeping you at Benning Infantry School as an instructor in the tactics departnt. I was thinking if I had an officer like you back when I was in the army, maybe so of my comrades might still be alive today!"

Donnie said seriously, patting Omar Bradray on the shoulder.

Donnie’s words made the others look at him with more kindness.

In their eyes over these years, Donnie was not just an ordinary Arican tycoon, but one who had erged from the Arican military!

This was an inherent sense of kinship.

After Omar Bradray sat down, Donnie asked Marshall, "Is there anyone else?"

Upon hearing Donnie’s question, everyone present imdiately understood that tonight’s gathering was not simple.

However, no one said anything.

Marshall smiled and replied to Donnie, "There’s also the head of the tactics departnt, Joseph Stilwell!"

The others showed a hint of curiosity upon hearing Joseph Stilwell’s na, especially Omar Bradray. Donnie had just ntioned that after graduating from Benning Infantry School, he would beco the head of the tactics departnt; now, Joseph Stilwell...

Donnie laughed and said, "Before coming, I already talked with the chief of staff and prepared to reassign Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Stilwell to the 2nd Infantry Division!"

"And this was suggested by Marshall to !"

As he finished speaking, Joseph Stilwell, who wore glasses and appeared more like a gentleman than a soldier, walked in.

Upon seeing the situation in the room, he was clearly taken aback but then laughed heartily.

"Haha, Marshall, you’ve called all the top perforrs from Benning Infantry School here!"

Marshall replied with a smile, "The people I invited today are all representatives of excellence, so naturally, they are the top perforrs!"

After the laughter, Marshall introduced Joseph Stilwell to Donnie.

"Mr. Block, though we are eting for the first ti, I’ve already heard your na many tis from Marshall!"

Joseph Stilwell laughed heartily as he spoke.

Joseph Stilwell and Marshall had the closest relationship, primarily because Joseph Stilwell had made multiple trips to the East before coming to Benning Infantry School, giving them plenty of common topics!

Donnie also observed the person known as the ’old friend of the Eastern people’.

During World War II, Joseph Stilwell had repeatedly proposed to the U.S. Governnt that part of the aid to the East should be allocated to our party.

"What a coincidence. Marshall had also written to many tis about his friendship with you, Lieutenant Colonel Stilwell, and highly recomnded your abilities. A few days ago, when I was in Washington, I specifically told the chief of staff about these things. After learning about your abilities, the chief of staff decided to assign you to the 2nd Infantry Division!"

Joseph Stilwell’s expression changed, and he beca even happier!

These people naturally hoped to apply their learning, so taking up a post in the troops was the best outco for them!

However, what truly surprised Joseph Stilwell was Donnie’s influence.

He naturally knew who Donnie Block was.

But what Joseph Stilwell did not expect was that a businessman like Donnie had such an influence within the Army’s general staff!

Donnie waited eagerly for Joseph Stilwell’s response. If he agreed to this arrangent, then Donnie would understand that Joseph Stilwell was willing to join their organization!

"It seems I should also write to you often, Mr. Block!"

Joseph Stilwell thought briefly and then responded to Donnie with a smile.

Donnie laughed heartily and replied, "Don’t worry, your letters will certainly be in my office first thing!"

After exchanging pleasantries.

The atmosphere in the room turned a bit serious. By now, everyone had so thoughts in mind, knowing that tonight’s eting was definitely not simple!

As all eyes shifted to Marshall, he let out a slight chuckle.

"Everyone, I know what you’re thinking. I invited you over this ti because my friend Mr. Block, upon arriving here, heard from that I t a group of wonderful and outstanding friends, so he wanted to et you all!"

So tonight’s main character was Donnie Block!

Everyone’s gaze turned to Donnie once more.

Donnie leaned back on the sofa and said with a smile, "You all know that I once represented Arica in World War I. Although I retired in the end, I still have a strong affection for the military.

But my current business has made it impossible for to wield a gun and join you on the battlefield.

But no matter what, it doesn’t erase the fact that I once was a soldier.

So, I thought, since I cannot stand beside you on the front lines, I must work from the rear to eliminate all your worries!"

Upon hearing Donnie’s words, everyone had their own thoughts erging in their minds.

But no one spoke; they all wanted to see what exactly Donnie was going to say!

Donnie continued with a smile, "So here, I sincerely invite you all, and your families, to co live in Atlantic City, beco citizens of Atlantic City. Of course, if your family has businesses, you can choose to cooperate with Venus Bank. Venus Bank is very willing to open its resources to you all.

I believe this is the only way to better alleviate your worries!"
