Chapter 1413: Chapter 493: The Keswick Family Pays the Price for Past Deeds

As usual, Henry Keswick finished his work and walked slowly down the street with his cane.

If he saw children selling flowers or praying, Henry Keswick would buy a flower from their basket with a bright smile or give them 20 pence.

His Rolls-Royce gently followed behind him, and when he walked far enough, he would turn around. At this point, his Rolls-Royce would pull up beside him, the driver would get out imdiately to open the car door, and after Henry Keswick got in, the driver would trot back to the driver’s seat and drive Henry Keswick back to the Keswick mansion.

After getting in the car, Henry Keswick would take off his white gloves and disdainfully throw them aside.

On the way back, Henry Keswick remained silent.

Tony Keswick and John Keswick were still receiving lessons from the family tutor.

The tutor stopped teaching upon seeing Henry Keswick return.

“Tony, have you packed your things?”

Henry Keswick sat on the soft sofa, a benevolent smile on the face.

Tony Keswick had graduated from university, and according to the plan laid out by Henry Keswick, this year Tony Keswick would go to the United States to gain experience at a bank connected with the Keswick Family’s business. Once his training was complete, Tony Keswick would go to Hong Kong to take over his father’s position and continue leading the Keswick Family’s Jardine Matheson, continuing to enjoy all that the Keswick Family had in Hong Kong.

“I’ve already packed. I plan to head to New York after Donnie Block leaves the United Kingdom!”

“Haha!” Henry Keswick chuckled lightly. “Are you still worried that Donnie might do sothing to our Keswick Family?”

Tony Keswick nodded and said, “I’ve been having people bring back all materials about Donnie Block from the United States during this ti. Soone who can establish the Venus Bank Empire in less than ten years is not soone who gives up easily.”

“In fact, I’ve been pondering sothing during this ti!”

“It won’t matter if he doesn’t give up. This is the United Kingdom, not the United States. Donnie Block’s strongest reliance in the UK is just the Secretary of the Treasury Churchill and his shaful aristocratic father-in-law, Earl Bock.”

Henry Keswick first shared his judgnt of Donnie and then asked, “You just said you were thinking about sothing. What were you thinking?”

Tony Keswick said, “Although Donnie recently proposed acquiring Jardine Matheson, judging from my analysis of him, this person likes to plan thoroughly before acting. Therefore, I worry that before this, Donnie has already sent people to prepare in Hong Kong, coincidentally when sothing out of our control like Feng’s Shipping appears.”

Pausing here, Tony Keswick continued, “So I suspect whether Feng’s Shipping is connected to Donnie Block!”

Henry Keswick pondered for a mont, taking Tony Keswick’s analysis to heart.

Yet, after thinking it over, Henry Keswick made a judgnt based on his experience and laughed, “Feng’s Shipping might indeed be part of Donnie’s advance arrangents in Hong Kong, but it’s not very likely. If Donnie had really started planning in Hong Kong, he should have sent a Westerner over, which would be the best move, not seek out an Easterner.

Moreover, even if this Feng’s Shipping is truly related to Donnie Block, so what?

Hong Kong is our Keswick Family’s Hong Kong; everyone who cos must bow to us. I have t with the Colonial Minister today, and I believe Sir Kemble will soon receive a letter from the Colonial Minister himself. At that point, Sir Kemble will return to our side!”

Tony Keswick thought for a mont and smiled, “Maybe I’m just overthinking!”

John Keswick then spoke up, “I say we don’t need to worry about Donnie Block at all. No matter how capable he is, in the end, he is just an Arican. If he dares to take any action, I’ll find so people and make sure he never returns to the United States!”

Henry Keswick rebuked John Keswick, “Are you looking to die? Making such reckless remarks, Donnie Block’s current status is beyond your imagination. In the United Kingdom, we don’t have to fear him, but we can’t do anything to him, understand?”

John Keswick snorted, clearly not taking Henry Keswick’s words to heart.

At that mont, Tony Keswick spoke up, “John, Grandfather is not exaggerating Donnie Block’s influence. This man is very powerful. In xico, Monroe rely refused his collaboration, and ironically, Donnie instigated the xican Civil War, and now Aguirre and Escovar, whom he supported, have even succeeded in the rebellion.”

“That’s only xico!” John Keswick muttered softly.

Henry Keswick glared at John Keswick, “Rember this, do not provoke Donnie Block. We are the noble Keswick Family, not so crude people who rose from fighting. Donnie Block is so aggressive now that soone is bound to be offended; by then, we won’t need to act, and soone else will deal with him!”

John Keswick nodded, still saying nothing.

Henry Keswick ignored John Keswick, instead turning to Tony Keswick, “Tony, this trip to New York, still be cautious and avoid conflicts with Donnie as much as possible!”
