xico, xico City, Presidential Office.

Calles was furious at the mont.

After the governnt forces had gathered, their advantage over the rebels was evident. Although dealing with the rebels couldn’t be described as crushing, it was undoubtedly an overwhelming superiority.

Originally, according to Calles’ plan, the priority was to suppress the rebellion, then negotiate with the United States.

But now the situation had changed.

Aguirre and Escovar’s rebels suddenly acquired dozens of powerful tanks, while the governnt forces... had no decent tanks.

At this mont, the battlefield situation had drastically changed.

Calles’ governnt forces, which should be described as Coalition Forces, could be imagined like the headmaster’s troops to understand their state.

The leaders of these forces had hidden agendas, when things were going smoothly, they would naturally follow you, but when you faced a crisis, they wouldn’t necessarily stand by your side!

"Mr. President, we must adopt new asures now!"

Edson Araujo was also troubled; he was Calles’ confidant, only with Calles stabilizing his position, could he enjoy his current power.

"asures? Haven’t you heard what they’re saying? They want tanks like Aguirre and Escovar have. Where am I supposed to get these tanks?"

Calles spoke angrily; the generals under him had called him earlier, wanting tanks like those of Aguirre and Escovar.

"These tanks are likely from Donnie’s Ares Arsenal!"

"You think I don’t know?" Calles beca even more furious hearing Donnie’s na.

The entire situation in xico was caused by Donnie. Never before had a businessman so wildly disrupted a country’s political situation.

Donnie was the first to do so!

At this mont, Calles regretted imnsely. If he had known it would be like this, he would have agreed to cooperate with Donnie earlier, instead of creating such a ss that left him in a deadlock.

Edson Araujo said nothing, knowing that Calles must have thought of sothing.

Indeed, Calles had a thought now: that is to concede. At this stage, is there any other way but to concede?

Was he going to wait for Aguirre and Escovar’s rebels to march into xico City?

Yet, as the President of xico, it was hard for him to accept calling Donnie to bow down.

Helpless, Calles dialed the Arican Ambassador Dwight Morrow’s number.

In the past, Calles would invite Dwight Morrow to his Presidential Office to discuss matters, but now the situation was different.

He was at a disadvantage!

After discovering Dwight Morrow was available, Calles drove to the United States Embassy in xico!

"Mr. Morrow, will the United States turn a blind eye to the likes of Aguirre and Escovar toppling our xican regi?"

Upon eting Dwight Morrow, Calles directly asked.

Dwight Morrow waved, dismissing others from his office.

Once the office was left with just Dwight Morrow and Calles, Dwight Morrow said: "Mr. President, you should know who’s responsible for the current situation. When Mr. Block initially ca to xico, he was very friendly and wanted to negotiate cooperation with you, but the result..."

Not only did you refuse to cooperate with Mr. Block, you even indulged Monroe to do such things.

Now you co to and tell this, don’t you find it ridiculous?"

Calles calmly said: "Ambassador Morrow, you can’t put it that way, was Donnie intending to cooperate with us? He wanted a monopoly status in xico. If you were in my position, what would you do?"

Dwight Morrow chuckled lightly and said: "I’m not in your position!"

Calles helplessly asked: "Let’s put this matter aside for now, you know what kind of character Aguirre and Escovar have, are they qualified national leaders?

If they take control of xico’s regi, there will certainly be nurous wars within xico, and at that ti, the Arican businesses in xico will also be implicated!"

The only advantage Calles was sure of now was that xico’s stability was key to a favorable environnt for business developnt.

So, eting Dwight Morrow this ti was to hope that Morrow would communicate his thoughts to the United States, to restrain them, and hence pressure Donnie to cease his support for Aguirre and Escovar.

Dwight Morrow smiled, saying: "President Calles, why do you still hold this fantasy at this mont? Previously, you incited those Arican businessn in xico to pressure Mr. Block within the United States, but what was the result, and how did those Arican businessn react?"

If you stubbornly want to use administrative power to suppress Mr. Block now, I can only say that soon enough, the United States might start cooperating with a new xican governnt."

Calles looked at Dwight Morrow with a steely expression.
