Amadei Gianini answered the phone; it was a call from their New York branch director.

Crea Gianini’s voice revealed panic through the phone; their other plan was yet unfinished, and if this lawsuit proceeded now, they would undoubtedly lose!
Amadei Gianini felt a bolt of shock course through him, nearly knocking him over, "There’s a way, there’s a way..."
Amadei Gianini hastily said, "I understand, but don’t worry. I will imdiately urge the Treasury Departnt and the White House to pass a bill, then the Federal Reserve’s lawsuit against us will beco aningless!"
After saying this, Amadei Gianini imdiately called the office of Andrew llon, the United States Treasurer.
"Mr. llon, you are surely aware of the Congress discussion’s results. Now please imdiately push through the nationwide comrcial banking network bill, thank you!"
Amadei Gianini said earnestly on the phone.
On the other end, Andrew llon seed very relaxed, and with a smile replied, "Mr. Gianini, please don’t worry. Since the Treasury Departnt has agreed to your previous lobbying, we will naturally pursue passing this bill upon your request. But you know how things work with the governnt; there are always procedures to follow. Rest assured, in two weeks, in two weeks, I can submit this bill to the White House!"
Two weeks?
In two weeks, the Italian Bank would have a new owner!
Amadei Gianini naturally could not accept this outco, so he variously pleaded on the phone, hoping Andrew llon could make an exception and swiftly approve the bill, then pass it on to the White House for signing!
