Tor Karam approached Donnie with a smile on his face.
Donnie slightly raised an eyebrow and waved his hand: “Go about your business, I’m not here to give a speech!”
Tor Karam felt slightly embarrassed, clearly realizing that his arrangent was not appreciated by Donnie.
He waved for the others to leave, and only Henry Dale, Tor Karam, Dwight Savile, and a few others who ca with Donnie remained by his side. Donnie directly asked Tor Karam to take them to the production workshop.
Currently, the main product of Ares Arsenal is the AK-47, along with so weapon components needed by the U.S. military, produced in collaboration with so Arican military-backed armants factories.
As for the AK-47, it hasn’t officially entered the procurent list of the U.S. military yet.
It’s not that there are more powerful individual weapons than the AK-47, but that such widespread procurent and military re-equipnt involve too many layers. Even with Donnie’s strong influence now, the AK-47, though the strongest individual weapon, remains difficult to beco officially procured by the U.S. military.
Currently, the largest purchaser of the AK-47 from Ares Military Industry is the Portuguese military, but they have already completed the full re-equipnt, and the order volu has subsequently decreased.
Nonetheless, Ares Arsenal continues to maintain extre production levels.
“Boss, our inventory has reached an alarming number. The profits earned from the Portugal order have been completely filled in, and now the factory’s daily production is at a loss!”
Tor Karam looked at the bustling factory workshop and complained to Donnie.
Donnie turned around and glanced at him, saying, “Did I ask you for the arsenals’ profit?”
Tor Karam saw that Donnie’s expression was calm but knew he had certainly said the wrong thing. However, the losses at Ares Arsenal compelled him to report these matters to Donnie.
He couldn’t understand why his boss was so eager to produce the AK-47, which wasn’t in high demand by many armies yet; now almost 400,000 units are stored in the workshops of Ares Arsenal. At the current production rate, it could reach 500,000 by the end of the year!
These weapons could support a large-scale battle.
“Even though you haven’t asked Ares Arsenal for profits, as the president of Ares Arsenal, I still have to consider the company’s interests, especially after you’ve invested so much money in this factory.”
Despite knowing that what he was saying wasn’t favored by Donnie, out of professional duty, Tor Karam had to speak up.
In his view, Ares Arsenal is now just a colossal money pit, and if it weren’t for Venus Bank’s support, it might have gone bankrupt dozens of tis.
“Additionally, Germany’s Krupp Corporation has sent multiple letters inquiring about the company’s situation! Also, shareholders like DuPont, llon, and Chase have called to inquire.”
Ares Arsenal is not a wholly owned subsidiary of Venus Bank; DuPont, llon, Chase, and Germany’s Krupp are also shareholders, although their combined shares in Ares Arsenal are not as much as Venus Bank’s.
“Tell them, if anyone is dissatisfied with Ares Arsenal’s current developnt, they can withdraw their investnt. Venus Bank is willing to offer them cash according to Ares Arsenal’s current valuation!”
Donnie stated with so dissatisfaction.
These people were initially brought into Ares Arsenal as shareholders because Donnie needed their influence or technology, but now neither he nor Ares Arsenal needed them anymore.
Hearing Donnie’s attitude, Tor Karam imdiately understood Donnie’s stance on this matter and dared not say another word.
After visiting several workshops, Tor Karam and Dwight Savile drove with Donnie to a corner of Ares Arsenal. Though considered a corner, this area housed research labs and a research base equivalent to the size of ten basketball courts.
This place implents the strictest confidentiality asures within Ares Arsenal, with guards every three steps and sentries every five steps.
Upon arriving at the entrance of the research base, four guards ard with AK-47s stood there.
