Joan Harrison felt the cold sensation of the handgun in her hand, and she saw Jimmy Chandler showing a pleading expression towards her, mumbling sothing that she couldn’t understand but surely it must be begging for rcy.
"No, no, I can’t do this!"
Joan Harrison threw away the handgun in her hand, unsure if she dared not shoot or still had fantasies about Jimmy Chandler.
Seeing Joan Harrison’s action, Caron Block showed a disappointed expression. He waved his hand again, and another man in black handed Caron Block a handgun.
Holding the handgun this ti, Caron Block did not pass it to Joan Harrison. Instead, he pointed the gun at Joan Harrison’s head.
This action startled Joan Harrison.
At this mont, Joan Harrison’s expression also turned fierce, shouting, "Caron Block, do you know what you are doing? No matter if it’s my grandfather or your brother, they won’t let you off for this!"
Caron Block showed an impatient expression: "That is sothing I should worry about, not you. Now you have two choices: either pick up the handgun on the ground and shoot that Jimmy Chandler in the head, or I shoot you in the head now."
Joan Harrison trembled all over, believing that Caron Block was telling the truth, without reason, just belief.
But to have Joan Harrison shoot and kill soone, especially a man she previously liked, Joan Harrison found it difficult to make this decision. She had been taught from a young age how to be an elegant woman full of aristocratic temperant, not how to be a killer.
Caron Block’s voice was like the Grim Reaper walking out of the underworld, "I’m going to count to three. If you don’t shoot, I will. Whether he dies, or both of you die together, the choice is yours!"
After speaking, Caron Block shouted loudly: "3!"
Terrified by this shout, Joan Harrison shivered all over, and the handgun in Caron Block’s hand pressed against Joan Harrison’s temple.
"2!"
Joan Harrison was truly frightened, shouting loudly, "Caron, I never thought of betraying you. I have nothing with him..."
"1!"
Joan Harrison suddenly crouched down, and at that mont, a gunshot rang out, the bullet hitting the decaying church wall.
Joan Harrison was completely stunned, but she had already grabbed the handgun that had fallen to the ground.
However, Joan Harrison did not point the handgun at Jimmy Chandler but aid it at Caron Block.
"Don’t force , I really didn’t do anything."
Joan Harrison didn’t truly want to shoot Caron Block, it was just an instinctive feeling that Caron Block was the most terrifying at this mont, so she aid the handgun at him, holding it with both hands, her whole body trembling uncontrollably.
Seeing Joan Harrison’s action, Caron Block squatted calmly beside Joan Harrison, the handgun hanging from his finger, swinging loosely.
"So you’d rather point the gun at your fiancé than kill a man who’s setting up both of our families?"
"No, it’s not that, I just don’t want to kill!"
Joan Harrison still pointed the handgun at Caron Block.
"Ah!" Caron Block sighed, then stood up, looking at Joan Harrison with incomprehension, "Wasn’t your education from childhood supposed to be that family interests are above all else? Now you bring a gun to your fiancé over such a small matter. I’m really so disappointed in you!"
After speaking, Caron Block took hold of his handgun again, aid it at Joan Harrison, and said with regret, "Honestly, I’m so disappointed in you, I even imagined what it would be like after we got married!"
"Don’t push , I’ll really shoot."
Joan Harrison shouted, though her finger was already on the trigger.
Bang!
A gunshot rang out.
It wasn’t Joan Harrison who fired, but Caron Block who pulled the trigger.
Also, at this mont, a bullet hole appeared in Joan Harrison’s heart. As she fell to the ground, she pulled the trigger, but the sound of clicking echoed because the handgun had no bullets.
"Donnie was right, love is no fun at all!" Caron Block shook his handgun, not even glancing at the already dead Joan Harrison, but instead shouted towards the confessional in the dilapidated church.
"Mr. Harrison, you can co out now!"
Clang!
From inside the confessional, a man in a tailcoat rushed out, his mouth sealed. Behind him was a man in black, who had controlled him in the confessional and covered his mouth.
"Madman, you madman, did you really shoot?"
This man was Dale Harrison, Joan Harrison’s brother. After Caron Block discovered Joan Harrison’s situation, he sent soone to invite Dale Harrison over, of course using legitimate reasons.
"Do you know what you’ve just done? This will lead to a war between the Harrison family and the Block Family!"
Dale Harrison picked up his sister lying in a pool of blood and shouted madly.
Caron Block wiped his ear impatiently and said, "The little princess of the Harrison family, just before getting engaged to Caron Block of the Block Family, fell in love with an unrefined actor. She was willing to shoot her fiancé for this actor. Do you think the Harrison family would still have the face to stay in the United States after this beca public?
