Chapter 1183: Chapter 405: California dia War Breaks Out (Part 2)
Facing the suspicion of Kyle Palr, Bob Ferry didn’t answer, he just looked at Harry Chandler with burning eyes.
This attitude made Kyle Palr sowhat doubtful, did he say sothing wrong?
Harry Chandler’s reply addressed the doubts in Kyle Palr’s mind.
“So what you an is, if we want to thoroughly investigate this matter or stop it, we just need to find these people!”
Bob Ferry nodded and said, “That’s right, that’s what I think!”
Harry Chandler smiled, “Good, this is a great idea, now I’ll leave it to you to handle this!”
“Boss, I think this matter should be left to Mr. Palr!” Bob Ferry rarely refused Harry Chandler’s order.
Harry Chandler and Kyle Palr both showed puzzled expressions, accomplishing this would definitely be a bonus, and from the current situation, it doesn’t seem like a difficult task. Yet, Bob Ferry actually refused the task.
Bob Ferry had a look that everything he did was for the company’s sake: “Mr. Palr has worked at the Los Angeles Tis for many years, which gives Mr. Palr significant influence in the Los Angeles newspaper field. If he cos forward, I think those people will feel a higher sense of importance, sothing I can’t compare to. This could allow the company to resolve this matter more easily!”
Hearing Bob Ferry’s reasoning, Harry Chandler showed an expression of gratitude. He himself was actually more inclined to let Kyle Palr handle the matter, but since it was Bob Ferry who thought of it, he needed to show his trust in Bob Ferry, making it inappropriate to delegate it to Kyle Palr. Unexpectedly, Bob Ferry was so selfless.
At this mont, Harry Chandler’s trust in Bob Ferry grew even more.
“Haha!” Harry Chandler laughed heartily, “With both Ferry and Palr, I believe no enemy can defeat us in the newspaper industry!”
After the sigh, Harry Chandler entrusted the matter to Kyle Palr.
Kyle Palr’s heart didn’t share Harry Chandler’s sentints, he still harbored doubts about Bob Ferry, but it didn’t prevent him from seizing this opportunity.
The next day!
Before dawn, Kyle Palr drove his car to the Los Feliz community in Los Angeles, a primary sales area for the Victor’s Post.
Sure enough, he saw a truck parked at the corner of the Los Feliz community, and from ti to ti, children would co to take a stack of newspapers and leave!
Kyle Palr was now certain that the owner of this truck was who he was looking for.
Parking his car, Kyle Palr got out, the chilly weather prompting him to tighten his suit.
“Hello, sir, I’m Kyle Palr, editor of the Los Angeles Tis!”
The burly Balash Lorin sat on the truck’s compartnt, a cigarette dangling from his lips. After listening to Kyle Palr’s self-introduction, he jumped down and said rather indifferently.
“What do you want?”
Although Kyle Palr was 1.8 ters tall, he had to look up at Balash Lorin, and it made him quite uncomfortable, especially given Balash Lorin’s attitude.
As the editor of the Los Angeles Tis, the people he usually interacted with were social elites of Los Angeles, and it was rare for him to deal with such a coarse person.
In that mont, Kyle Palr even wished it was Bob Ferry handling the matter.
But he quickly suppressed those thoughts, displaying what he considered a gentlemanly smile, and said, “It’s like this, I hope you can stop this work because it’s disturbing the sleep that children should have. Of course, if you can heed my suggestion, I can arrange a job for you in the delivery team at the Los Angeles Tis!”
After saying this, Kyle Palr looked confidently at Balash Lorin, thinking he was doing them a favor!
But Balash Lorin looked as if he had heard the greatest joke, gazing disdainfully at Kyle Palr, his unrestrained laughter greatly displeasing Kyle Palr.
“Sir, has your brain gone bad from drinking too much coffee? I just need to drive the truck to deliver newspapers here, hand them to those little brats, and receive a decent salary, and yet you want to be like your delivery guys, riding bicycles around different communities delivering papers, for less pay?”
Balash Lorin really couldn’t understand what these people were thinking, were they in high positions for so long that they thought saying a few words ant people would relish following their arrangents?
Kyle Palr indeed thought like this, but he didn’t realize it himself, he only felt that this rude person’s words and laughter were quite abhorrent.
“I know the Victor’s Post, it’s just an insignificant little newspaper, we Los Angeles Tis can acquire it anyti we want, then you won’t even have the job I’m offering you!”
