Donnie fell into silence. It wasn’t impossible, but after thinking for a mont, Donnie said, "Go investigate all of Hoover’s connections in Washington. Don’t miss any details. I need to know the full situation!"
Rhode Granger nodded and said, "Understood!"
It was at this mont that Coolidge, who had rushed over from the White House, arrived at Donnie’s hospital room.
Seeing that Donnie’s condition wasn’t severe, he sighed in relief and sat beside Donnie’s hospital bed. "When I heard the news, I almost lost my mind. Now that I see you’re alright, I can finally breathe easy!"
Being Donnie’s most steadfast ally, Coolidge was very much aware of Donnie’s influence.
If anything happened to Donnie, it could potentially disrupt the unity of their alliance. More importantly, Coolidge understood the power behind Donnie. If those ard veterans who rely on Donnie found out their boss was gone, he dreaded to think what craziness they might unleash.
Thirty thousand ard, battle-hardened veterans from World War I could wreak havoc on U.S. soil—Coolidge could scarcely imagine the consequences!
Donnie said, "There’s nothing wrong with now. It’s ti for those people behind this to start trembling!"
Coolidge asked Donnie, "Do you know who did this?"
Donnie shook his head and said, "It’s not clear yet, but I believe as long as sothing is done, it will leave traces!"
At this, Donnie asked Coolidge, "Mr. President, there’s sothing I’d like to ask of you!"
Coolidge, in a determined manner, replied, "Go ahead!"
Everyone understood that Donnie was their staunchest ally. Now that soone had attempted to assassinate Donnie, it was as if they had declared war on the entire alliance. Coolidge had to take a stand!
Donnie said, "I hope you can order the FBI to give Rhode full control over this investigation, without interference from anyone!"
It was only then Coolidge noticed Rhode Granger standing beside Donnie. Although he hadn’t t Rhode Granger before, hearing Donnie speak, he realized that Rhode Granger was truly Donnie’s solid ally within the FBI.
What he had seen outside—Edgar Hoover—seed to have beco less closely associated with Donnie!
"No problem, I will personally order this!" Coolidge said without any hesitation!
Donnie expressed his gratitude to Coolidge.

John Garner’s reminder alerted Tang Fei. Doctors and nurses were also unsafe. It’s not unheard of in Arican history for prominent figures to be killed by their own doctors or nurses.
"Rhode, imdiately arrange for soone to fully investigate the background of every doctor and nurse in this hospital, and at the sa ti, monitor their families for !"
Rhode Granger imdiately took the orders from Donnie!
At this point, a National Congress mber couldn’t help but say, "Mr. Block, isn’t this too much of a fuss? If it causes panic among outsiders, wouldn’t that be bad?"
Donnie looked sharply at the speaker, his eyes like knives, as if he could slay them at any mont. The person, seeing Donnie’s gaze, was filled with dread.
"Mr. Congress mber, if it cos to that, when you encounter such a situation, I’ll offer you the sa advice!"
The National Congress mber dared not speak. He could feel that while Donnie had been smiling and speaking to everyone earlier, he was now suppressing all the anger in his heart. He didn’t want to cross Donnie at this mont!
After this brief interlude, Coolidge and others, after chatting with Donnie for a while, left!
Donnie continued to instruct Rhode Granger, "Inform Robert to co to Washington!"
"Understood!" Rhode Granger asked Donnie, "Boss, should we call Mr. Kritch to send more personnel?"
Rhode Granger understood that at this ti, Donnie Block trusted no one other than his own people, so he didn’t suggest letting the FBI protect Donnie!
Donnie shook his head and said, "No need, the current manpower is sufficient!"
Seeing what Donnie said, Rhode Granger said no more, left Donnie’s hospital room, and proceeded to carry out all of Donnie’s previous arrangents!

The FBI had already received a direct order from the President to fully cooperate with Rhode Granger in the investigation of Donnie’s shooting!
So upon returning to FBI headquarters, Rhode Granger imdiately ordered all FBI personnel to conduct a city-wide manhunt!
