Chapter 12: Do You Understand the Concept of Raising?
After saying this, Jiang Shuying turned around without hesitation and started walking forward.
But then, she suddenly felt her body freeze in place.
The next second, her feet left the ground—

He stood up from the large rock he had been sitting on and stepped directly in front of her.

And then, Chen Nian lifted a finger and gently tilted her delicate chin upward.
“Your greatest opportunity is eting .”
“Going off alone? Sorry, but I don’t think you have what it takes.”
“Didn’t the great school beauty say she’d repay for saving her life? But if you’re dead, how are you going to repay ?”
“You have to stay alive to owe anything.”
“Since you already owe once, you might as well owe a little more…”
“I prefer won who are obedient and smart. I’m sure you understand what I an.”
With a snap of his fingers, Jiang Shuying regained control of her body.
By then, Chen Nian had already turned and started walking back the way they ca. Watching his carefree, drifting figure, a glimr of moisture appeared at the edges of Jiang Shuying’s eyes.

Dragonite looked even more bewildered now.

“Sure, it’s a Dratini now, but you can wait for it to grow up!”
“Once it evolves, won’t it beco a beautiful little Dragonite?”
“And if you take it to the outside world, you can bond with it from the start. By the ti it’s grown, making it your wife will be easy!”

The idea of “raising” a mate was completely foreign to Dragonite’s worldview.

Waving its claws, Dragonite trotted toward the little Dratini.

This Dratini’s parents died in a battle against a rival clan, so it lives alone now. If your friend wants a partner… this little one might be the best choice.
