phisto had already demonstrated his prowess to this Shepherd Tree Man's Shepherd Leader, proving he wasn't to be trifled with.
As he obstructed, Brand took the opportunity to spread the black thorns on the ground. This creation, being a temporary cultivation, had limited effect. At least in the young man's view, it would take spreading out four more similar-sized patches of plants to truly turn the tide of battle.
This was no simple task, as Andesa kept trying to thwart and destroy his 'achievents'. Initially, she used more straightforward ans like before, but phisto wasn't one to be underestimated. So, he promptly shadowed Andesa like a persistent specter, leaving her no chances to act. Andesa quickly realized phisto's strategy and had to cease her sowhat awkward actions, resorting to using the Corrosion Elent to erode those plants instead.
This had a miraculous effect initially, nearly causing Brand's 'work' to fail, but phisto quickly found a defensive thod under Brand's guidance. He simply let his 'Grey World' cover those black thorns, leaving Andesa helpless.
This tactic drove Andesa nearly insane, yet she was at a loss—her Elent was indeed ineffective against phisto.
Thus, the chase continued, black 'Great Wall' gradually constructed bit by bit. Although Brand, from excessive blood loss, began to feel dizzy, Andesa's combat strength also began to crumble slowly. Her last spell casting almost failed, and the spell's backlash nearly cost her an eye.

But just at that mont, he heard Qian's scream from nearby: "Watch out, my Lord!"
