Not only she, but the leadership team behind her was also silent, tense, without a whisper of discussion.
Even though it was dayti, it felt as if night had already fallen.
Today, human society would face the ultimate decision of destiny!
...
Abnormal Foundation.
"What is that black fog...?"
Through a certain observational type of Strange Objects, people observed the Moon in the sky, being dismbered under the engulfnt of the black fog.
Dozens of kiloters thick, with a mass of up to a quintillion tons of rock and sand peeled from the Moon, turning to ash in the pitch-black Black Fog.
Chunks of rock and sand were hurtling toward the Earth, becoming shooting stars.
Ultimately, half an hour later, the Moon revealed its innermost core—a monstrous planetary spaceship with a diater of about 3000 kiloters!
The ordered artificial gravity matrix, hundreds of kiloters long Plasma Ridge Peak Cannons, and planet-level anti-matter engines, all displayed the incomparable Wisdom and Materialism-inspired science and technology of ancient humans at their peak—capable of resisting Idealism’s Demon Gods with Materialism technology.
But at this mont, the Planet Fortress was completely ruined, having lost its forr glory.
Most of its functions were already damaged.
Its downfall was unknown how many years old.
It had beco a cage, imprisoning a fearso Demon God.
The indirect war between two terrifying Demon Gods unfolded in an abstract form at a higher dinsion, unobservable to people.
Yet the influence on the concrete three-dinsional world evolved into the black Moon and the dense fog.
There was no solar eclipse at all; this cycle of Dark Moon absorbed the sunlight above the Earth, lowering the world’s temperature, while simultaneously, the starry sky slowly beca a two-dinsional abstract painting.
The sky was like an oil painting, with various lines twisting chaotically, creating an unreal abstract sensation.
"Are the two Demon Gods fighting each other?"
"Now, who has the upper hand?" the Advanced leaders of the Abnormal Foundation were sweating profusely, their nerves taut even if they were typically calm.
The indirect war between Demon Gods, like a chess ga, may take hundreds or thousands of years.
But a direct war would be a fight to the death, and the outco would be decided quickly.
Success ant that "Delusion" would be killed by "Dark Moon"!
Failure, and "Delusion" would completely break free from its past seal, bringing ultimate destruction to the world!
"I don’t know, it’s unpredictable..."
"Is our past layout no longer of use?"
"I don’t know... nobody knows."
"What past layout was there?" asked Chen Xinyi as she looked at the abstract picture on the electronic screen. The scene had reached a bizarre level beyond her understanding, so much so that her muscles tensed up, and her heart rate exceeded two hundred beats per minute.
Even the big and foolish Xu Zhijun knew that a critical mont had arrived, staring intently at the screen, his mouth unconsciously agape.
"Our leader did arrange so plans on the Moon... The entire layout took over forty years, this was our last safeguard. The reason why [it] hasn’t completely escaped from the cage is that so protective chanisms above the Moon spaceship are still functioning," said Heijin, the leader of the Abnormal Foundation.
"So protective chanisms have been cracked by [it]... Among them, the most important are the ’keys,’ a total of eight keys, of which seven have been found by [it]."
"The key represents control authority over the protective chanisms. We humans can modify so of the protective chanisms through the keys to prevent it from escaping."
"What if all eight keys are found?" Chen Xinyi couldn’t help asking.
"That ans it would be able to directly escape from the cage through the keys. But, it’s impossible for it to find the eighth key," Heijin said gravely, "At least, in that environnt, it’s impossible. Our ancestors hid the last key very well."
But now, with the outer Demon God directly destroying the protective chanisms, that last defense seed useless...
"And just a day ago, Mr. Lanjin, who entered Paradise, also accomplished nothing."
"Mr. Lanjin tried to use the last key to change so protective chanisms, but now, obviously..." He shook his head and didn’t continue.
At this thought, the people of the Abnormal Foundation couldn’t help but let out a long, solemn sigh; the turn of events was always faster than expected.
Humanity’s own strategies had completely failed, leaving them to passively await the outco of the battle between Demon Gods.
If they failed, they would turn to dust.
At that mont, a massive sound ca from space. In every corner of the planet, whether it was in basents or Rubik’s-cube-level bunkers, or anyone hiding at ho, they all experienced a soul-disturbing vagueness.
The feeling ca quickly and left just as swiftly.
After that, the black fog in the sky disappeared, and the starry abstract painting transford back into a three-dinsional sky.
This appeared to be the last calm before the storm.
The war between the two sides had decided a victor.
"Command the artificial satellites to observe the direction of the Moon at the fastest speed!!"
Half an hour later, the satellites caught sight of dark red lines spewing from a gap in the Moon.
A dense and ominous hunch spread through the base.
Seeing this scene, Heijin said with a face full of despair: "We’ve failed... ’Dark Moon’ has just forcibly erased the concept of ’Moon,’ even though it caused ’Delusion’ grave injuries..."
