But these two people had not suffered the attack of the "Moon of Illusion," nor had they been mysteriously shot; they had survived until now.
Why?
The answer...wasn’t too complicated. "I" had never handed in any Crystal Stones.
Shi Dapeng and Lou Ronggen, on the other hand, had turned in a large number of Crystal Stones. In fact, they had to go to the lower levels of the mines to find them.
"So, the Crystal Stones are actually a special substance needed by the ’Moon of Illusion,’ not part of human planning?"
"Shi Dapeng and Lou Ronggen, are they considered part of the ’Moon of Illusion’ themselves? They are useful, and no matter how badly they are spoken of, they won’t be killed."
"Normally, their consciousness is clear, but once manipulated and induced, they start killing frenziedly."
"And I, having never turned in Crystal Stones, have been under suspicion."
Having deduced this, Wang Hao ca up with a preliminary guess.
"Paradise is constructed by the ’Moon of Illusion’ for a special ’purpose’; it sustains 500,000 humans and is probably the main anchor for the ’Moon of Illusion.’"
"The rules here are relatively lax; even if humans badmouth it behind its back, nothing happens because these people are thoroughly controlled by the ’Moon of Illusion.’ They might even be providing it with Ideal Energy, just like the human batteries in The Matrix..."
"Given this, why not change my approach? Why should I follow the plot?"
The proper course of the plot would have Mr. Xiang Hao of the Abnormal Foundation setting sothing up here. Only by solving the puzzle could there be a chance to seal the ’Moon of Illusion.’
"But now, I can summon the ’Dragon,’ and can completely bypass those damn puzzles to achieve the final result."
The more Wang Hao thought about it, the more he saw the broad prospects of this train of thought!
For a Player, what is more exhilarating than breaking out of the ga scriptwriter’s frawork and directly packing away the ga with brute force?
At the very least, he could condescendingly dean the ga developers, "Idiot scriptwriters designing so many puzzles and taking so many detours, only to have brute-force the final solution!"
"The shortcut is right before my eyes!"
He wrote down his ultimate goal on paper with a ballpoint pen: Destroy Paradise!
"Destroying Paradise might provide a shortcut to sealing the ’Moon of Illusion,’ at least wiping out a large part of its crucial anchors!"
But, how to destroy Paradise?
Rely directly on the Dragon to destroy Paradise? Of course not, because the Dragon cannot defeat the ’Moon of Illusion.’
"The destruction must co first, then summon the Dragon."
Wang Hao racked his brains, trying to find an effective way from the limited clues.
"If these humans really are human batteries, destroying Paradise could deal a heavy blow to the ’Moon of Illusion.’ Then I could summon the Dragon to deliver the killing blow."
"1000 points... not too expensive. I need to know if the Dragon really can do this."
But, how to destroy ’Paradise’?
He concentrated deeply, the air seemingly falling into silence.
This thod was too hard to think of, beyond the plot.
And his personal power was not sufficient to undertake this task.
How hard it is to figure it out!
...
Han Xiaoyue humd a lody as she walked upstairs; her mood had been pretty good lately, especially since getting that necklace, she had been in a joyful state all day long.
Even though she completely had no idea what the necklace was for.
"Hey, why is it so quiet here?"
Suddenly realizing her big cousin was scratching his head, pondering sothing, she quickly withdrew, not daring to disturb.
"Lady, let put it this way, if I suddenly kicked you out of the house, would you feel resentful?" Wang Hao saw Little Miss Xiaoyue and had a spark of inspiration.
"Wh... why?" Han Xiaoyue stumbled, nervously at a loss for words, "Kicked out of the house?"
"It’s just a taphor."
"Of course I would, I’d think you’re crazy!"
...
"See, this is what they call, ’favors beget gratitude, obligations breed resentnt!’"
Wang Hao really liked this treasure-hunt feeling in his mind, and quickly tapped on his phone V50, directing the anxious Han Xiaoyue to go buy Crazy Thursday.
"Destroying Paradise is possible."
"Because people are not satisfied with Paradise, nor do they have any respect for it."
"Even, people harbor resentnt towards Paradise! Intense resentnt!"
Why? Because favors beget gratitude, obligations breed resentnt, if you provide small help to soone in trouble, they will appreciate you.
But if you provide too much help and it creates a dependency, once the help stops, it will breed resentnt instead.
Paradise had once given too much, fulfilled too many human desires, but the consequence of not being able to find Crystal Stones was being trapped on the second level, plumting from a life of decadence and luxury to begging.
The more you lose, the greater the resentnt.
Thus, the two unreliable teammates in the second reincarnation, Shi Dapeng and Lou Ronggen, were both suspicious and resentful towards "Paradise."
"This hidden resentnt brings the opportunity to incite. Once it leads to a mass uprising, it brings the possibility of destroying Paradise!"
Wang Hao didn’t know whether the thod of "Destroying Paradise" was correct, but having a rough idea was much better than wandering around aimlessly like a headless fly.
He smiled smugly on his face.
The third reincarnation—begin!
