"The Dragon" quietly observed him, its dark golden pupils gleaming with a trace of flowing fire-like essence.

Its black scales grew sharp backward-facing spines, clinking together like tal on tal, its stature becoming increasingly towering. Previously only as tall as a hundred-ter skyscraper, it had now beco akin to a small mountain.

In the Dragon’s cold eyes flickered a brutal light, subconsciously wanting to blow this weak ant to death.

But it had now gained so wisdom and seed to vaguely recall sothing.

Could it be that, a long ti ago, it had seen this ant?

On that day, it had even been honored to receive the reprimand of the great will.

Now,

Without any command from the "great will," the Dragon dared not act rashly.

After all, in the face of the "great will," the Dragon itself was no more than a trivial existence, not even worth ntioning as an ant.

...

"Has several years passed? This little boy has grown a lot, indeed handso, and he has brought along so Strange Objects to adventure into the Etheric Abyss," Wang Hao recognized the young man upon seeing him.

There were two moles behind the young man’s right ear, quite distinctive features. Since the Ga had progressed to this point, among the humans encountered in the Etheric Abyss, there was only this one, leaving a deep impression.

As for the years that had passed? The little boy growing up?

There didn’t seem anything to doubt; a dragon could not possibly grow up in just a few hours, after all, the passage of ti within the ga was naturally different from the real world.

He began to expect: "Is there a new story mission?"

...

The more he knew, the more he didn’t know. Compared to their eting several years ago, this ti, the young man seed even more tense.

He inadvertently touched the dagger on his belt.

In the end, he took a deep breath and gave up.

Clearly, this gigantic "mountain" was an existence he couldn’t contend with.

A dagger that could easily cut through gold and iron was of no use.

This enormous being seed not too fond of him; even from a distance, he could feel that violent, lava-like aura.

Yet, it did not attack him directly. It seed to recognize his presence, simply squatting there observing him.

It was complex and contradictory, indescribable.

After a while, the young man gradually cald his panic, took off his hat, and bowed slightly: "Unknown existence, hello, according to human etiquette, I am supposed to introduce myself, but here, I can’t reveal my real na..."

"In my organization, my code na is Blue Gold."

"So from now on, just call Blue Gold. This is our second eting."

The Dragon was indifferent, simply shaking its tail out of habit.

It was unclear whether it was a greeting or due to so other psychology.

Sudden, the entire canyon trembled, and massive cracks tore open for dozens of kiloters. Countless strange and different creatures surged out of every nook of the valley, heading toward the more distant Primordial Abyss. Obviously, intentionally or not, these fleeing creatures avoided the place where it existed.

The shallows of the Etheric Abyss could hardly contain its existence anymore.

Suppressing the terror in his heart, the young man stood up straight: "Actually, I ca here to find my father, he... he has also disappeared."

"Although this might be your territory and I’m truly disturbing you,"

"I’m very sorry... I... I can find him myself." The youth bit his lip, then took out a quaint and delicate compass from his pocket.

The compass needle was spinning around, filled with a mysterious supernatural effect.

Clearly, he wanted to use the Strange Object compass to find his missing father.

The Dragon watched him indifferently, its gaze still cold.

Such "exchanges" were rare in the Etheric Abyss.

Being able to understand a bit was perhaps a sign of progress.

The young man paused, then said: "My father was a kind and learned man. He knew the stars above and the earth below, and although he didn’t like interacting with people much, every ti he spoke, he had his own philosophical thinking. He never spoke nonsense and had a strong will and unyielding determination..."

"He kept the greatest secrets of our world."

"Unfortunately, he held so keys..."

"Because of these keys’ existence, he was subjected to so inhuman ntal tornt every mont after our mother disappeared... His mind was filled with a great deal of Delusion. At first, he could control himself, just locking himself in his study, seeking the ultimate solution."

"But gradually, he had to rely on dication to control his spirit."

"In the end, even dication didn’t work..."

"Now, he’s gone missing."

"He may have gone mad."

The young man sat on the ground, sowhat dejected, and said with a sigh: "I guess I can understand... How can human willpower combat such existences? So when he couldn’t hold on any longer, he generated so kind of Delusion. He thought that by throwing this key into the Etheric Abyss, he wouldn’t need to suffer anymore..."

"Or perhaps, he thought he could be safe?"

"I don’t know, he might be right or wrong."

"He just had so kind of Delusion."

The Dragon remained indifferent.

Its cold eyes emitted a violent aura.

The Dragon didn’t quite understand why it should listen to the prattle of such an insignificant creature, just a worm that could be blown over with a breath.

But since the "great will" had not spoken, it dared not act rashly and could only sit patiently on the ground.

After all, it had its fill, and the Heart Core of that giant octopus would take a long, long ti to digest.

"Just consider it a story."

The youth’s eyes dimd, he grabbed a handful of sand from the ground, lowered his head, and said hoarsely, "When he left, he was wearing a black suit..."

"He smiled at and told that twenty years ago, it was in that black suit that he had married my mother... Then, he handed over all of that inheritance to ."

"I’m sensible now and should do sothing for the world, but I’m only fourteen this year. I should be going to school, making so friends, or perhaps finding a beautiful girlfriend. But now, I must do sothing special."

The Dragon tried to smile.

What is this ant talking about?

It had co to know the concept of numbers; by human standards, it seed to be fourteen this year as well.

So what if you’re fourteen, I am so huge, and you’re still just a little dot?

What are you talking about?

...

The Dragon lifted its wings, stirring up a wild wind, and flew away.

...

Monts later, it returned with the black suit.

But the so-called key was nowhere to be found.

"Thank... Thank you."

The complexion of the youth turned pale in an instant; he managed a miserable smile, his body softened, and he sat down on the ground, "I knew it, I just knew... I had a premonition in my heart."

"My father’s condition has always been poor. Even if he was incredibly clever, the brink of deranged desperation must have been hard to bear."

The light in his eyes faded as he muttered, "This might be for the best... It’s better than never finding the body."

He forced himself to rally, trembling slightly, "Majestic being, I can now offer a small token of gratitude. Whatever you desire, you can tell directly."

The Dragon remained indifferent.

It had no interest in that pitiful trash!

As for "Majestic Will," it had even less regard for it.

"No need for a reward then... Well, I’ll be going." He started to rub his eyes nonstop, pretending as if sand had gotten into them.

"I... I need to report this."

"My father’s disappearance is a significant matter, it ans that ’it’ might escape..."

"If even you couldn’t find the key, I have even less chance. I won’t waste my effort."

"Goodbye... Goodbye."

The youth grew more and more frantic, his face turning alternatively pale and flushed.

He hurriedly activated a teleportation device, and with a flash of light, his figure vanished within the sphere of light.

Reflected in the Dragon’s cold pupils was the youth covering his face in the instant of teleportation.

Bursting into loud wails.

...

...

Ti flew by rapidly, clouds careened across the sky, many things had happened.

Many things had not even had the chance to happen before they were over...

The birth and vanishing of life, like tiny vortexes, grand or tumultuous, ultimately returned to calm.

The Dragon journeyed deeper into the Etheric Abyss, fighting, training, battling, evolving.

It firmly established itself within the Gutenberg Interface at the Subordinate Demon God Level.

Under the watch of the "Majestic Will," it faced several crises of survival, but fortunately... it survived them all.

It was growing at an incredibly fast pace!

Whether on a physical or psychological level, it seed to have gained a bit of Wisdom.

But the gravity of Idealism from the Etheric Abyss was growing ever stronger, and the decrease in buoyancy made travel to shallower areas consu a massive amount of energy.

Fortunately, it had not exhausted its potential yet, and the Etheric Abyss still granted it a small asure of leniency and favor, allowing it to move within a limited range.

...

Perhaps by so stroke of fate, the Dragon, beaten and battered from battle, found itself once more in that familiar canyon.

It covered the sky.

Its arrival obscured the light of the gorge.

Accompanied by a pattering rain, its massive body hid within the drizzle.

...

As if by expected or sowhat unexpected occurrence, it saw a familiar figure once again.

...

He was now a true adult, considered handso among humans?

His Vitality seed vigorous among human populations.

His height, however, was still lacking, not reaching a kiloter high. In the Dragon’s eyes, the other beca ever more insignificant; such a tiny stature was not even fit to be wedged between its teeth.
