The Funeral Parlor within the Light Camp, as a governnt institution that had achieved a system of both scale and modernized managent, had a complete set of standardized procedures.

In the cremation furnaces that ranged from 760 to 1150 degrees Celsius, most of a human body’s tissues would evaporate and oxidize due to the heat and gases released by the emission system over two hours. What remained after cremation were dry bone fragnts, weighing approximately 3 kilograms.

At this mont, night had fallen. Besides a few staff mbers on duty, most of the workers had gone ho. Not until 8 o’clock the next morning would the burning of bodies comnce.

Of course, the waiting area was filled with many coffins, and several mourning family mbers were lingering nearby. The sounds of crying could faintly be heard.

Pan Hao swallowed hard, listening to the surrounding cries. He couldn’t shake the feeling that sothing was off.

The power from the "Nine-Colored Deer’s fluff" had not dissipated, and his Spiritual Sense was far above that of a normal person.

He felt a pressure from ancient tis, as if tens of thousands of needles were piercing his skin, causing each and every one of his pores to involuntarily clench. This pressure was very subtle, yet it was slowly getting stronger.

If it weren’t for borrowing the power of the Nine-Colored Deer, he would not have been able to feel it.

He closed his eyes, savored the sensation closely, and suddenly gasped. "Fuck, isn’t this pressure on the sa level as Paradise Village’s? It’s even chillier."

"Is an unknown Demon God invading this place?"

"Could this place be a special zone?"

"Where is the Saint?" He looked around, searching for the so-called "Saint."

But he found no one.

With no other options, Pan Hao moved slowly within the Funeral Parlor, trying to find the missing Feng Ling while cautiously waiting for the arrival of the Black-clothed Guard’s top brass.

Just then, he suddenly heard a cry of surprise coming from one of the rooms!

Quickly tiptoeing over, he took a peek.

"Which hospital is so irresponsible to send an unconscious old man here?!" The Funeral Parlor’s on-duty security guard said angrily, "It’s okay, it’s okay, he’s still alive, just passed out. Hurry and check him into a nearby hospital."

"Don’t delay."

The nearby family mbers, seeing the old man resurrected from the coffin, cried tears of joy.

There were also people cursing the incompetent doctors for mistakenly declaring a rely unconscious man dead.

"Incompetent doctors killing people!"

Pan Hao’s scalp tingled with their words, and he swallowed again.

With the power of the Nine-Colored Deer, he took a glance. The old man was indeed alive...

But he still felt an eerie sensation.

He also didn’t know what exactly was panicking him.

"Where’s the nearest hospital?" the family mbers asked again.

"Isn’t there a Qingtian Hospital right there?" The security guard pointed to the large building nearby, "That’s one of the best hospitals, can almost cure all diseases!"

"Yes, yes! Qingtian Hospital, they can cure all diseases! Quickly, take him to the hospital!" The people clumsily helped the just-awakened old man onto a wheelchair and hurriedly departed.

Pan Hao stood there bewildered, feeling like he was overlooking sothing.

He picked up his phone, intending to call his son, and suddenly found that he had searched for so information before.

"The forr Qingtian Hospital was transford into this Funeral Parlor. Supposedly because of Feng Shui issues..."

At that instant, as if a chilling wind from Siberia was rushing up his spine into his crown, Pan Hao felt like his brain was nearly frozen.

"This this this... The hospital’s gone!!"

"But I actually forgot about this..." He felt as though he had seen a ghost, with hair standing on end and eyes bulging wide.

"This is the power of the Demon God. The ability to rewrite concepts... If it weren’t for the power of the nine-colored deer lingering within , I might instantly forget, unable to notice that anything was amiss..."

"I would assu that all of this is natural... Can even the dead be resurrected here?!"

A severe headache emanated from his temples, and Pan Hao knew he might forget sothing again. Bracing against the pain, he began to run as if his life depended on it!

At the sa ti, he silently repeated in his mind: "The Funeral Parlor was converted from Qingtian Hospital."

"It was converted, converted!!"

Sohow, a man in his seventies managed to sprint out of the enclosed area, purely through sheer force of will.

Pan Hao returned to his car and gulped down several mouthfuls of water, slowly catching his breath.

His consciousness blurred once again, and even the text on his phone began to grow fuzzy.

So of the concepts he once knew were being rewritten.

The web page had disappeared.

Pan Hao shouted loudly, "The Funeral Parlor was converted from Qingtian Hospital! The Funeral Parlor was converted from Qingtian Hospital!!!"

(This situation is beyond my ability to resolve. I can only wait for a Saint... What the hell is the Black-clothed Guard doing, can’t they react any faster!)

(This bit of information I’ve managed to uncover is already the limit of my ability.)

...

...

That very night, at 11 o’clock.

A new senior eting of the Black-clothed Guard was in session, with 28 attendees discussing the latest developnts.

Everyone was in high spirits.

"Comrades, good evening. It’s been hard work with all the overti, but at last, we’re seeing so results. Effort leads to reward, as they say."

Number 1, the senior gentleman, was quite elated these days. With continuous success, he finally felt the wonderful joy of flourishing progress.

The greatest pleasure in the world, he mused, was the developnt of productive forces, the change of the entire world!

"No wonder Westerners are willing to give up their faith to cling to the ’thighs of God.’ The benefits brought about by a single Demon God are just too significant."

"And the one we’ve encountered, it doesn’t even require faith. We’re making clear transactions, fair and square."

During these days, two investigators from the Black-clothed Guard had brought back a peculiar item from the "Ga Training Camp": a branch of the Spiritual Bean Tree!

This branch, similar to a leech, possessed the innate capability to absorb human blood and could also grow a special type of fruit—the "Spiritual Bean."

Therefore, the next report was presented by Lady Number 28 of the Black-clothed Guard: "Based on preliminary investigations, this branch has displayed a degree of animality, capable of growing through nutrient solutions and biological cultivation."

"Moreover, the thod of cultivation is nearly identical to that of the Immortal Bean, and even simpler... It will thrive into a sapling as long as it’s provided with sufficient blood."

"Its supernatural principle is similar to that of the Immortal Bean, extracting the Life Force from blood and transforming it into a special kind of idealistic material."

"The fruits produced by this plant can slightly increase Spiritual Strength, repair soul injuries, and dispel so curses... We haven’t found any side effects yet."

Lady Number 28 paused briefly before continuing: "We have also discovered that the Spiritual Beans contain a special type of neural stimulant, which can induce a state of heightened creativity in the human brain for a short period. Both learning speed and experience are greatly enhanced."

"That’s another significant effect. But its use value isn’t very high because compared with the cost of cultivating Spiritual Beans, it’s less cost-effective than purchasing the 15x learning speed from the ’Ga Training Camp’ directly..."

"In summary, in about six months, we should be able to produce a small quantity of Spiritual Beans! Our initial findings indicate that mixing Immortal Beans with Spiritual Beans in cultivation significantly increases the yield, though the specific reason is still under investigation."

Applause and a buzz of conversation filled the eting room.

This was a gift from the "Ga"!
