Chapter 66: What do you Want to Know?
[RayKon53: Yes. I want to know everything about you.]
‘He sounds so eager,’ she thought gleefully.
[Rinten: I am past barriers with you. I have already sent you a picture. So, I don’t mind. I make cover art and freelance for advertisent agencies.]
How would he react to that information? Would he be impressed? Or would he feel like she was la? She knew she didn’t have a job like everyone else, but she couldn’t imagine working differently.
[RayKon53: Sounds amazing. Won’t you ask what I do?]
‘I want to ask what you do, but would you tell ?’
[Rinten: I know you are secretive. Which is why you haven’t shown a picture of you yet. I am just glad that you were so open to letting hear your voice.]
‘I really want to see you, RayKon… I really want to put a face on the man who is slowly stealing my heart.’
[RayKon53: It’s not that I am secretive. I am far from it when it cos to you, but I don’t know how to break it to you.]
‘Break it to ? What is that supposed to an?’
[Rinten: You’re a big-shot. You need to keep the gold diggers at bay. I understand.]
‘There was no other explanation. He must really be soone of worth, or else why would he say such a cryptic thing? Not that I care. I would take him if he were broke, too.’
[RayKon53: How did you find out about the gold diggers? Have you been spying on ?]
She laughed at first, but then she felt like his words weren’t a joke. It felt like he had been stalked… that he knew how it felt for other people to know exactly what he was up to. She frowned.
[Rinten: Any respectable multi-millionaire has a line of won waiting to fall all over them. And with a sexy man like you…]
She wanted to reassure him that she was unlike any other person he had encountered. She would surely not harm him or ntally threaten him by stalking him. That was not sothing she considered part of a healthy relationship.
[RayKon53: My doors are shut to everyone except for you. I don’t care about the line, baby.]
‘You better not care about the line,’ she thought possessively. On second thought, she didn’t mind the line one bit… maybe she wasn’t wholly possessive. As long as she had the assurance that he would not stray, she would remain unquestioning of his intentions. She believed him when he said there would be no one else.
[Rinten: Then show a part of you. I don’t want to push, though… only if you want.]
‘Give sothing.’
It was a few minutes of anxiety before the reply ca in. She was worried that he would deny the request. But it was a picture of his… she quirked her head to the side… tongue. It was his tongue.
[RayKon53: I want to leak you.] She burst out into laughter.
[Rinten: I didn’t know you were into the waterworks. Are you a fan of golden showers like another well-known billionaire?]
Another billionaire ca to mind, but it was all a controversial matter. She wondered if this political talk would offend him. Thank god, it didn’t.
[RayKon53: I will pretend like I didn’t see that comnt. You haven’t even started drinking and you are saying embarrassing things that you will regret in the morning.]
‘When have I needed a drink to say embarrassing things around you? It’s like my filter stops working whenever I am with you. It’s not my fault, I swear.’
[Rinten: I am intoxicated by you. Who said anything about being embarrassed? I am very sober, I promise you.]
She waited for his reply.
[RayKon53: Baby, you have the sa effect on . I have no words to describe how attractive your words are. You intoxicate , too.]
He sounded like a spaz, but he couldn’t help but write these words out.
[Rinten: You want to lick ?]
She wrote. She fanned herself as she imagined the scene and shuddered. Of course, she understood what he had ant. Yet a part of her wanted to tease him.
[RayKon53: Yes, love. If autocorrect hadn’t diverted our conversation, I would have been pleased.]
Katherine snickered. If not for autocorrect, how would she have embarrassed him a little bit? Their conversation would be bland without such atrocious events. She needed the opportunity to bring out her shalessness. It was only in front of him that she could do so.
[Rinten: Tell what you want to do to . It’s been too long.]
Her breath quickened. Would he play along? Or had it been too long since they had spoken this way? A part of her worried that they would have to start their friendship from the very beginning because they had been out of touch for so ti. Though she didn’t mind such a scenario, she had quickly beco addicted to his words. There was nothing she could do but lust after him if he decided that they would no longer share an intimate relationship.
[RayKon53: You will be the death of . Do you really want to know?]
‘Be the death of him? I wouldn’t want that. What would I do without you?’
She paused for effect, sure of what she wanted.
[Rinten: You sound awfully reluctant to tell .] She teased. [Then, we should talk about sothing else.]
She snickered as she saw the silence on the other side.
[RayKon53: You tease!]
He was also laughing. It had been so ti since they spoke and he wouldn’t want to jump into their fantasies before getting comfortable with each other again. He didn’t know how exactly she felt at the mont, so he could only delay and look for signs. He needed to know that they were still on the sa page.
[RayKon53: Fine. What do you want to know? I don’t have much going on in my life.]
Actually, this was far from the truth, but there was only so much he could vent in front of her without making her think that he was a crybaby.
