The iron gates of the Crawford estate groan open, allowing the sleek black vehicle to glide through.

The driveway is long, flanked by towering trees that cast shifting shadows under the dim glow of the estate’s exterior lighting.

At the end of the path stands the mansion itself, an architectural marvel of marble and glass, its sheer size and presence exuding power.

The windows gleam under the day light reflecting the manicured hedges and the grand stone fountain that marks the center of the circular driveway.

Kieran’s grip on the steering wheel remains steady as he guides the car forward.

He doesn’t look toward the guards, but he can feel their eyes scanning the vehicle, their stance relaxed.

Too relaxed.

They trust their security asures too much.

Rika and Max sit beside him, their expressions unreadable behind their dical masks.

Their white coats blend into the illusion perfectly. Inside the vehicle, hidden from view, Jun, Rey, and Marsel crouch low, their bodies tense, listening to every movent outside.

A uniford butler stands at the entrance, hands neatly folded in front of him. As Kieran pulls the car to a smooth stop, the butler steps forward, his posture stiff with rehearsed professionalism.

"The patient is inside," he announces. "Follow ."

Kieran nods, exchanging a brief glance with Rika and Max before stepping out of the car. The mont his boots hit the stone pavent, his senses heighten.

Every scent, every sound... he absorbs it all.

The entrance doors swing open before they even reach them, revealing a grand foyer that exudes wealth and status.

A colossal chandelier dangles from the ceiling, its crystal fragnts reflecting warm, golden light.

The air is thick with the scent of polished wood, fresh flowers, and sothing faintly sterile, probably the scent of the temporary dical equipnt brought in for Blake’s care.

They move in sync, following the butler down a long corridor with towering windows that reveal the vast, sprawling gardens outside.

Kieran morizes the layout instantly

,exits, blind spots, potential cover.

As they reach the second floor, the butler leads them to a quiet wing of the house, stopping in front of a heavy oak door.

"Here," he says, then steps aside.

Kieran pushes the door open, and the first thing he sees is the girl- pale, unconscious, her chest rising and falling in shallow breaths.

She lies on her bed, connected to IV drips and monitoring equipnt.

A nurse is adjusting her IV, her focus shifting when they enter. She straightens slightly, eyeing them with mild surprise.

"You’re here earlier than expected," she remarks, frowning.

Kieran doesn’t miss the way her grip tightens on the IV tube for a split second, a subconscious hesitation.

He ets her gaze directly, keeping his posture relaxed but authoritative.

"We realise there’s a lot to be done, and madam needs everything settles when she cos back," Rika says smoothly before Kieran can speak. "We need to leave now."

The nurse hesitates for only a mont longer before nodding. "I need a few more minutes," she says, turning back to her task. "I wasn’t expecting you so soon, and I’m still finishing her cleaning."

Kieran doesn’t outwardly react, but his mind is already racing. This is a problem. They don’t have minutes to spare. Every second counts.

He turns to Max and Rika, nodding slightly toward the door. "We’ll wait outside, but please make it fast" he murmurs, keeping his tone professional.

The mont they step out, Kieran pulls out his phone and dials a secured line to the pack house. The response is imdiate. He doesn’t want to call Ace because he knows he’ll act on his own.

"Kieran?" a voice answers, low and alert.

"We might delay, and the real doctors must be on their way here, you need to get to that road that leads to the recident right now, wait for them, if you see them then intercept them, but do not hurt anyone," Kieran orders. His voice is quiet, but there’s no mistaking the authority behind it.

There’s no hesitation on the other end. "On it."

Kieran ends the call, exhaling slowly. They can’t afford to have the real dical team reaching the estate. If the guards at the front gate realise there are two teams of doctors..., the entire operation would unravel.

He leans casually against the wall, crossing his arms as his sharp gaze sweeps the empty corridor.

The house is quiet.

The only sounds are the faint murmurs of conversation from distant rooms and the occasional creak of the old wood settling under the night air.

Max shifts beside him. "Think they’ll get to them in ti?" he asks, voice low.

"They will," Kieran replies without hesitation. "They have to."

Inside the room, the nurse hums softly to herself as she works. Ti ticks forward at an agonizing pace.

Every passing second feels stretched, the weight of their plan pressing down on them.

Rika glances toward Kieran. "If sothing goes wrong, we’ll need a backup plan."

Kieran’s jaw tightens. He already knows. If the interception fails, they’ll have to adapt... fast.

But for now, they wait. Because the mont the nurse finishes, they’ll have to move. And once they take Blake out of that room, there will be no turning back.

_

The nurse finishes tending to Blake and steps into the hallway just outside her room.

She wipes her hands on a cloth, looking at Kieran and the others. "She’s ready to go now," she says before walking away, her voice calm, unaware of the true nature of what’s happening.

Kieran exchanges a glance with Max and Rika before they step inside. The room is dimly lit, with only the soft beeping of a nearby machine breaking the silence.

Blake lies still on the bed, her pale face frad by loose strands of hair. She looks fragile, but there’s a quiet strength in the way she breathes steadily despite everything.

Rika and Max waste no ti. Moving with careful precision, Max slides his arms under Blake’s back, while Rika supports her legs. Together, they lift her gently, making sure not to jostle her too much.

Kieran scans the room one last ti, making sure they leave no trace of their involvent.

As they step out into the hallway, their pace is controlled, purposeful but not hurried. They can’t afford to draw attention.

The house remains eerily quiet, the soft hum of distant conversations barely reaching them.

They get in the car, lying her on the long chair. Kieran drives still.

At the entrance, the guards walk to the car again before opening the gate.

Kieran keeps his expression unreadable, he is given another paper work to sign. His grip firm as he hands back the paperwork.

The guard barely glances at the docunt before nodding, but there’s a flicker of hesitation in his eyes.

Kieran feels the weight of the mont pressing down, every second stretching unbearably.

Then, the guard sighs, reaching for the control panel. The gate lets out a chanical whir as it unlocks. Slowly, the heavy tal doors begin to swing open.

Kieran doesn’t wait. He grips the wheel and starts the engine again. The vehicle rolls forward, and the mont the tires cross the threshold, the gate clanks shut behind them.

"They must have caught them, because we are passed ti." Kieran mutters.

"Does it matter? We’ve made it anyway." Rika says.

"Now all we need to do is work fast and take her to the lab before they notice sothing is wrong." Marsel says after being told how they made it to stop the real doctors.
