Yarin's POV:

"I'll kill you and take your body back with ," Tyle's voice no longer sounded human, as if a thousand flies were buzzing in his throat. "I'll show those self-righteous people who my lord's most faithful servant truly is."

He suddenly lunged at as fast as a gust of wind. I instinctively blocked, but his fist, which seed as hard as stone, actually shattered my forearm! I was sent flying like a teor, and my back suddenly throbbed; I must have injured my spine.

"Urgh!" The sharp pain made break into a cold sweat. I had no choice but to lt myself again. Clearly, facing him head-on was a bad idea, especially since the entire house was about to collapse.

Moreover, sothing even worse happened. Perhaps Tyle's strength was too great, but when he leaped to attack , he actually cracked the ground underneath him-notice, the entire ground cracked, not just the floorboards.

The third floor was about to collapse, and the entire house was teetering on the brink of collapse.

Fortunately, I had gotten the others to run away early. Otherwise, the collapsing building alone could have killed many people.

The fugitives under Heller's control finally ca to their senses. They looked at the shattered building with horror-stricken screams, desperately trying to escape. But none succeeded; the black mist emanating from Tyle enveloped his subordinates, and within seconds, one person was 'absorbed'.

Tyle was eating those fugitives.

"While these sc*mbags might be a bit useless, they still possess so power." Tyle looked at , dissatisfied. "I'm curious about the taste of your soul. The soul of a royal must be different from that of a common person!"

He attacked again, and I no longer held back. Since the whole house was about to collapse, why not make a final contribution?

Honestly, steel and concrete weren't very palatable. While other things I had consud weren't great either, the concrete's dryness and the steel's tallic taste were nauseating. Wood was much better, even though varnish was similarly unappetizing. At least the wood still retained a hint of natural aroma.

I devoured everything in my path and expanded. Tyle's bone wings were sowhat of a threatening decoration; he couldn't fly, and after I continually consud his footholds, he had to keep changing positions. He attempted to attack during this process, but the rubbery, dough-like structure of my flesh and blood dispersed much of his force. Even if I were truly injured, I could consu more to regenerate. This left Tyle with no foothold.

He was starting to find it challenging, no longer as confident as in the beginning. There was even a hint of anger in his frustration.

"I'm beginning to understand why my lord took an interest in your body," he said, his face darkening as black mist continuously emanated from him. "You do have so skill, kid, but your skill is worthless against divine power. I need to make you more obedient before presenting you to my lord. An uncontrolled puppet is utterly aningless."

The cold black mist seeped into my flesh and blood, icy and piercing, with a chilling burning sensation. My flesh and blood were expanding and splitting uncontrollably, growing grotesque and horrifying lumps of flesh. They burst open with a putrid, foul-slling tissue fluid when swelled to the extre.

My body was warping, and I was acutely aware of it.

This distortion brought not only psychological fear but also physical pain. If I were in human form, I would undoubtedly be like a balloon continually inflating and bursting.

"How long can you endure?" Tyle seed to be taunting leisurely. "Then, all of this will be over. What's wrong with becoming a vessel of the gods? It's an honor that so many people can only dream of."

I didn't care about his nonsense, I simply asked, "So you're a fringe character, right? If I'm not mistaken, the higher-ups didn't approve of this operation. It was your own decision."

Tyle froze. "What?"

"You're just a lackey from the Lily of the Valley. You hardly know anything about your damn god. You rushed to seize the opportunity for rit. I don't know what thods you used to gain power in prison, and I don't care, but your stupidity is quite laughable. I've even started to pity you."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Tyle was still trying to act, but his acting was bad enough.

"From how you speak, you seem to dislike the higher-ups, right? I dislike them, too, as well as Linda and Azazel. They're a bunch of nonsense, and that includes you, a piece of trash."

I taunted, "Unfortunately, you're even more foolish than they are. You know nothing about , nothing about the werewolf pack. You arrogantly ca to kidnap but don't understand that you're walking into your own death.

"A vessel of Azazel? Sir, I must say your information is outdated by a century. I'm long past that point. What's the point of going to so much trouble to kidnap ? Even if you're foolish, you've caused the deaths of so many people and brought so much trouble to the werewolf pack...

"I regret it now, Tyle. I won't capture you and put you on trial. I agree with the saying 'an eye for an eye.' I'll tornt you thoroughly, make you die most agonizingly, and your soul will suffer forever. Even Azazel won't be able to save you."

With the intensifying distortion, an even denser black mist gushed out of , engulfing Tyle in his incredulous gaze and terrified screams.
