Yarin's POV:

According to legends, the courtyard of the Moon Goddess was always filled with various characters and vivid stories. There should be a female warrior with a gun sparring in court, a maid holding flowers or a wine pot singing in a low voice, an innocent and cute servant boy playing with wolves and birds, and a goddess sitting on a tall building watching the leisurely life of her people.

But now, no one was in this empty courtyard, not to ntion the smiling goddess leaning against the tall building.

"Hello, is anyone there?"

I tried to shout out loud but didn't get a reply.

Thus, I had no choice but to continue forward. I walked past an exquisite pavilion, crossed a gurgling stream, and brushed past more than ten beautiful flowers and plants. Finally, everything changed a little.

The lodious harp music in my ears had sohow beco a little louder. As I walked deeper and deeper, the music beca clearer and clearer.

It wasn't until I walked to a flower bed surrounded by a high fence and a closed door that I was sure the music was coming from it.

There seed to be soone inside.

I knocked on the door and asked loudly, "Hello, is there anyone inside?"

No one answered , and the music didn't stop. Just like when I first arrived in the courtyard, the wooden door covered with grapevines quietly opened.

Inside was a flourishing flowerbed. There was only an evening rose planted here. Cute pink, yellow, and purple flowers adorned the crisp branches and leaves, docilely waiting for people to admire them.

The flowerbed was not big, so one could see the ancient pavilion in the center at a glance. There was a woman sitting in the pavilion with her back facing . In front of her was a harp, which was the source of the music.

There was only one path in the garden, and it was in front of , leading to the flower pavilion in the center.

The mont I saw that woman, I suddenly understood. That was right, she must be the Moon Goddess.

It was hard to describe the feeling of eting a legendary god. Excitent, joy, disbelief, and even confusion. Was it so easy to et the supre goddess of the pack?

Seeing her in a dream, could it be that this stack was just a dream?

I let my imagination run wild and unknowingly started to daydream. The woman in the pavilion saw that I didn't move for a long ti. She stopped playing the harp and asked, "Why are you standing there like a fool? Co here, child, let look at you."

I ca back to my senses and subconsciously took a few steps forward. I felt a little awkward again.

The goddess spoke to in a natural and friendly tone, like an elder chastising a young man. The legendary goddess was always gentle and majestic when I first learned about her story. Every word was as elegant and formal as a sonnet or an aria.

Of course, I knew those words were just a romantic adaptation of poets, writers, or screenwriters. However, like them, I had never seen the true face of the goddess before, let alone listened to her teachings. Therefore, the images in legends and plays had long seeped into my heart.

She was so kind that it made feel even more uncomfortable.

Thus, I walked on the garden path that was more than ten ters long intermittently and hesitantly. In the end, the goddess seed to be amused by my contradictory behavior. She turned around and smiled. "Don't be shy, Yarin, you know who I am."

I looked at her beautiful face and couldn't help but be lost in thought.

Of course, I knew this wasn't a dream, and I also knew who she was. She was the god I piously worshipped, the only helper I could ask for help, and my family mber who was 'bloodline'.

Admittedly, my grandmother was really related to and was currently in the palace. However, I couldn't deny that the mont I saw Moon Goddess, my soul trembled. It was another form of 'blood relationship', proving that I had inherited the bloodline of a god from my mother.

I once thought about how I would react when I saw Moon Goddess' divinity. It would be fear, humility, piety, or gratitude.

But when I really stood in front of her and felt my soul being agitated by the blood, all my emotions faded from my body, leaving only one - grievance.

It was a grievance from the bottom of her heart, surging like a flood, and was difficult to

suppress.

Faces and things flashed before . Each of them was like a mountain pressing down on , making it difficult for to breathe.

The calmness and indifference that I forced myself to maintain collapsed under the gentle gaze of the Moon Goddess. I could no longer bear the pressure and grievances in my heart. I unknowingly kneeled before the goddess and covered my eyes with both hands, allowing my tears to pour.

"Goddess... Goddess... Why did you only appear now? I'm very afraid. I don't know what to do. I, I've been parasitized by a demon. Why ..."

I burst into tears like a child.

"It's only been a month, but it feels like a year has passed. Why must I be the one to bear all these bad things? Why, why..."

Facing my tears, the goddess sighed softly and gently stroked my head, saying, "Cry, cry it out, my child. This shouldn't have been for you to bear, but who can say clearly about fate? Cry. There's no one here. You don't have to care about anything. Just vent all the grievances in your heart."

The cheerful music was gone, and in the flowerbed, only the flowers witnessed the heartbreaking cry of a child.
