Yarin's POV:

"That's why Linda hated the werewolves. She swore that she wouldn't let the werewolves have it easy as long as she was alive," Azazel said casually. "What a persistent girl. Even I almost can't help but love her."

However, I could clearly sense that there was an endless coldness hidden behind those seemingly praising words.

There was no love, no liking, no acceptance, no contempt. Azazel treated Linda like a wildflower by the road. He glanced at her and then left indifferently.

He told Linda's story without reservation. He told everything Linda had done for him, but it felt like he was casually telling the story of a stranger.

This devil had no heart at all. Whether others loved or hated him, nothing mattered to him.

Now that I was sharing the sa body with this heartless demon, I couldn't help but feel that my future was bleak and hopeless.

Sensing my emotions, Azazel said, "Does this make you afraid? Don't worry, my child. I'm just saying this to get closer to you. Didn't you say that appropriate communication is beneficial to improving the parent-child relationship?"

"I have nothing to do with you, and I don't want to know anything that cos out of your mouth." I tried to control my emotions, hoping my heart would not be like an open warehouse for Azazel to read. "Besides, aren't you going to pay attention to your stepdaughter? She has already finished speaking and is looking at you with such anticipation."

Only then did Azazel give Linda so attention, pretending to be quite pleased as he gently praised Linda's efforts.

In fact, I suspect he didn't hear anything at all; he was engrossed in Linda telling her secret when she spoke.

Linda was so excited when she saw Azazel that tears flowed down her face. Every three sentences, she would say sothing about how she missed Azazel. She had no idea that her father, master, and god did not care about her at all.

If the Lily of the Valley operation failed today and Linda died, Azazel wouldn't have reached out to receive her soul. He would imdiately forget about this ga and turn to ruin the lives of others.

However, this was not the representative of poor Linda, she had been in the long waiting for a long ti to drive herself crazy, although she thought she was devout, she had long regarded Azazel as her own possession, ready to bite anyone who dared to fight with her.

This crazy woman had hard the werewolves because of this. Attacking the Silver Moon Pack was just one of them. She had brought poison to this land a long ti ago.

'Pollen' sounded sweet and fragrant, but it was actually a drug that could easily destroy a werewolf. The powder we saw flowing out of the children's bodies that night was this.

I didn't know why the Lily of the Valley would use children as a container for 'Pollen'. Perhaps this was just a perverted hobby of this underworld organization, or... There was a bigger conspiracy to it.

Conversely, Linda's tearful 'debriefing report' had ended. At this mont, she was waiting for Azazel's next instructions with her quail-like subordinates. The instructions given by their lord were simple: They should leave imdiately and wait for him to contact them again.

"Why?" Linda asked in confusion. "It wasn't easy for to find you. Father, don't chase away, please!"

Seeing that she was going to lie down and continue crying, perhaps Azazel was also a little annoyed by her crying, so he explained, "It's not that I want to chase you away, my daughter. Who can understand your feelings better than ? It's just that this is all for your own good. She's coming, and she's coming with anger. You're not her match."

"Who is it? The Moon Goddess?" Ian asked straightforwardly.

Azazel shook his head and did not answer his question.

However, Linda had already guessed what he ant without him saying anything.

She was a beautiful woman. If I hadn't seen her with my own eyes, it would be hard for to imagine that those exquisite and perfect facial features could be distorted into impressionism.

"It's Madeline Oromalivira, isn't it?" She gritted her teeth and said my mother's na, looking like she wanted to grind the person represented by this na into at paste and swallow it.

"Yes, my little girl who has grown into a big girl. Your little sister - or is it more accurate to say your elder sister? After all, strictly speaking, she's many years older than you.

"I really miss the last ti I t her, even though it was only for a few minutes. But I think she must still hate . After so many years, I don't know if her anger has subsided. This ti, I took her son away. She doesn't seem to want a bad grandfather like to get close to my little grandson."

"It's his honor to be your vessel!" Linda shouted. "Besides, please forgive for being blunt, but how can this kid be considered your grandson? They're just descendants of inferior flesh and blood. They're not worthy of clinging to your great divine bloodline!"

Azazel laughed, tolerating Linda's sharpness and willfulness like a father, but emphasized again, "Leave, my child. Your sister has a bad temper. If you anger her, I don't know how to help with you."

He smiled and teased Linda's tense and fragile nerves, clearly trying to stir up her hatred for my mother.
