Lucia shut her mouth as she didn’t know what to reply to Gastone. Deep inside, she wanted him to pursue her, to prove to himself that he was worth dating and not act like he was fine with them not being together.

"Nothing! Nevermind! Hmph!" Lucia shouted as she looked away. She was extrely annoyed that she wanted to cry like a child.

"We will have a hard ti if you can’t communicate what you want to say," Gastone said with a deep sigh. He was frustrated, but he decided it wasn’t worth it.

Lucia didn’t reply, and silence fell between them. The ride beca awkward until they reached the flower shop.

Gastone parked the car by the entrance, but still, no one said a word to one another. Lucia glanced at Gastone and saw him gripping the steering wheel tightly, making the veins in his arms more visible.

"I should go," Lucia muttered, but she didn’t get out yet. She was used to Gastone opening the door for her, even if she complained about it every ti.

Gastone nodded without a word. He was also waiting for her to get out.

Both of them remained inside the car for a few seconds until Lucia realized that Gastone wouldn’t open the door for her. She rolled her eyes and got out, slamming the door closed and making sure he felt the impact.

"Tsk! So much about loving ," Lucia murmured as she fidgeted the keys in her bag.

Gastone slamd his palm on the steering wheel to vent his frustration. When Lucia finally entered the shop, he drove away imdiately.

"That guy... and he wants to trust him," Lucia whispered while staring out the window at Gastone’s car driving away. "Ah, never mind that. I should use this opportunity to relax until next week."

The days went by normally. Lucia opened her shop in the morning and assisted custors. At night, she would sneak out and go to Nutri’s restaurant, observing the cars going in and out.

However, Lucia didn’t find anything suspicious. She wasn’t even surprised since the Nutri’s were very good at hiding their business materials.

On the other hand, Gastone couldn’t even sleep well. He felt that confessing what he really felt made the distance between him and Lucia grow wider.

"Ugh! Why did I even do it?" Gastone gritted his teeth and threw a rock on the ground. He was in the forest where he ca from since it was far from civilization, and only a few hunters road around.

Gastone rembered the news about a wolf spotted in the forest. There were normal animal wolves in the human realm, but they wouldn’t transform into humans. They were much smaller compared to actual Werewolves that shifted to wolf form.

"A huge black wolf with white ears. That seems like a Werewolf to ," Gastone whispered as he felt the ground for any movent and heightened his other senses. He had been running around the forest in hopes of eting the famous wolf that had killed a couple of humans, but he had failed to do so.

Gastone rubbed his chin when he got nothing. He removed his clothes and put them beside a tree where he would go back later. He planned to run for a couple of minutes to stretch his wolf and help it calm down.

"I’m sure Rosina hasn’t sent a Werewolf in the human realm before ," Gastone muttered as he stretched his body. When he was still a Prince, the only information he got that went to the human realm was Rosina and no one else.

As Gastone transford into his wolf form, his bones shifted in different positions, and his muscles ford a new structure. He felt relieved and more relaxed as he beca one with nature.

"Awoo!" Gastone’s head tilted toward the moon and howled; he felt good after that. Then he started running, feeling his paws hitting the soil and enjoying the fresh air. His beige wolf’s fur shone brightly under the moonlight.

After fifteen minutes of running, Gastone imdiately halted. Before him was a dark portion of the forest, and only a little bit of moonlight shone through the leaves.

However, that didn’t bother Gastone at all. What made him stop was the scent that lingered in the air. The sll didn’t arouse him like Lucia’s, but he was sure it was from a wolf, a rogue one.

Gastone imdiately took a defensive stance and let out a low growl, warning the other wolf not to attack.

The sound of a twig snapping echoed in the silent forest.

At the sa ti, a figure erged from the darkness and showed itself to Gastone.

It was the very wolf that Gastone was searching for.

Both wolves stare at each other with eyes that observe each tiny movent they create.

Gastone sensed the other wolf wasn’t going to attack when it sat on the ground, looking at him in confusion and amusent. That made Gastone transform into his human form to communicate.

"Who are you?" Gastone asked, standing fully naked, but he didn’t care. He could see the shock in the wolf’s eyes that he was a Werewolf.

The other wolf shifted into its human form— a female.

"You look familiar," the woman stated as she crossed her arms to cover her breasts.

Gastone frowned. He didn’t care if the woman was naked in all her glory since he wasn’t attracted to her.

The woman was older compared to Gastone, around the age of Cinzia, his mother.

"Who are you?" Gastone asked, still in his defensive mode. He wanted to know how the woman had entered the human realm.

"Oh~ it’s really nice to et a fellow Werewolf in this human world. It’s been years since I see one!" the old woman exclaid with happiness. She was sincerely delighted to et her fellow race.

"Answer my question," Gastone stated firmly. He wanted to know who she was and her background.

"Silly little boy, is that the way you talk to an elder?" the woman giggled. Her eyes stared at Gastone nacingly, but they were empty.
