Gastone waited for Lucia outside the house. He gasped at the small pouch he prepared for her.

Navin and Jorge looked at Gastone with a worried expressions.

"My Lord, are you sure about this?" Navin asked in concern. He could feel Gastone’s anxiousness.

"You can’t force soone to be with you just because you want to be with them," Gastone replied and sighed. If he would follow his own rationale, he would like to imprison Lucia until she fell in love with him.

"That’s true," Jorge agreed. He never had a lover and was waiting for his mate to co by, planning to remain loyal to her even if she hadn’t arrived in his life yet.

Navin pursed his lips and said nothing. For him, he would convince Lucia to stay if she was his mate.

After a couple minutes, Lucia ca out of the house with a sling bag. She only brought her stuff and several clothes Gastone gave her, leaving the rest as she felt bad if she took them all.

"Hello," Lucia greeted them with a wave. She smiled timidly, quite shy about departing.

"Hello, Lady Lucia," Navin and Jorge greeted together.

"Are you ready?" Gastone asked, making sure that Lucia was fully prepared.

"Ah, yes," Lucia looked down. She gripped her bag tightly while facing Gastone.

"That’s good. Then we should go," Gastone turned around. He planned to use the forest and walked for a while before activating the portal connecting to the human world.

"Umm, can we slow down? I-It’s hot!" Lucia exclaid in panic. She noticed how Gastone’s stance was faster, but she wanted to take it slow to enjoy her last day in that place.

"Sure," Gastone replied without looking back. He kept walking, but his steps were shorter.

Navin and Jorged followed behind silently, but when they were entering the forest, they stopped.

"My Lord, we’ll give you two so ti alone," Navin said, waving them goodbye.

"Eh! Why?" Lucia asked with a frown. She wanted to be with them one last ti.

"It’s nice eting you, Lady Lucia," Jorge stated and bowed slightly.

"I believe this is not the end, Lady!" Navin chuckled while waving with a wry smile.

Gastone squinted his eyes since he understood what Navin ant. He didn’t shrug it off and decided not to stress over the idea of Lucia coming back to him.

"Oh, o-okay! It’s nice eting you all too!" Lucia waved and bowed in 90 degrees before running behind Gastone.

"What a cute couple," Navin grinned while looking at the two.

"We should do our job as well," Jorge sighed and patted Navin’s shoulder to bring his attention to him.

"Alright," Navin shook his head.

The two n went in the opposite direction to ensure the forest was safe and no entity would disrupt Gastone and Lucia’s ti together.

On the other hand, Gastone kept his distance from Lucia while making sure she was nearby.

"Ah, I wonder if a wolf will appear here," Lucia muttered while looking around excitedly. She was confident to be safe in case a wolf would appear since Gastone was with her. If she was alone, she’d be shivering like crazy.

Gastone glanced at her.

"Do you want to see one that badly? Aren’t you afraid of them?" Gastone asked, rembering what Lucia said about his race.

"Ah, no, no. I’m scared of Werewolves, but they’re not real," Lucia replied and shrugged. She thought no big deal of it, but it made Gastone tense.

"Maybe they aren’t as bad as you think they are. Besides, isn’t overprotective of your lover is better than not caring at all?" Gastone asked, glancing at Lucia.

"Oh, well... maybe. I don’t know. I never had a boyfriend before!" Lucia exclaid and giggled.

"Huh?" Gastone stopped and snapped his head toward Lucia. He was beyond shock after hearing she never had a lover.

"W-what?" Lucia beca awkward at how Gastone looked at her. She turned her head to the side to avoid his gaze.

"I thought you had many based on your performance," Gastone said in disbelief. He cleared his throat since he was too evident in his reaction that he cared about her past.

"Ah, it’s not like that, haha," Lucia replied awkwardly and scratched her head. "Maybe my training paid off if you think I’m that good," she giggled.

Lucia was proud of herself that Gastone thought she had many lovers. That proved her skills were excellent without flaws.

"I see," Gastone didn’t ask further, but that made him curious about what Lucia ant. That created a mystery surrounding her identity.

"Where are we going next? There seems no way out of this thick forest," Lucia whispered and went closer to Gastone. She was a little afraid that the old woman would appear out of nowhere again.

"Don’t worry, we will get there," Gastone replied. He was searching for a perfect place like the human world’s entrance.

"O-okay. Tell when I’ll blindfold myself," Lucia replied and took out a piece of cloth she had prepared.

"What do you an?" Gastone stopped and looked at her in confusion.

"When I first arrived here. I was blindfolded, so I thought it would be the sa," Lucia replied.

Gastone opened his mouth to speak, but no words ca out. He had forgotten about it.

"Should I cover my eyes now? I don’t want to force myself if you want to hide where you live," Lucia smiled and handed Gastone the cloth.

Gastone sighed. "You only have to close your eyes. I trust you," he stated before continuing to walk.

’Gastone, trust ?’ Lucia thought and internally scread in delight. Her heart swelled with butterflies, especially hearing Gastone’s deep voice after voicing those words.

"What are you waiting for? Let’s go," Gastone gestured for Lucia to co since she was a bit far.

"Y-yes!" Lucia shouted and ran. She was happy, and it showed in her face.

’She seems excited to leave,’ Gastone thought after seeing Lucia’s reaction, misunderstanding the situation.

They strolled in silence while listening to the forest’s natural sound. The cool breeze hit their skin, freshening them up.

"Ah!" Lucia yelped after the wind blew into her hair, causing her to eat the strands.

"Are you alright?" Gastone asked worried sothing had happened.

"Oh, nothing," Lucia replied and brushed her hair that tangled because of the wind.

"Hmm," Gastone humd. He saw a leaf stuck to Lucia’s hair and wouldn’t fall down. He went in front of her and grabbed the leaf.

"What are you doing?" Lucia flinched when Gastone ca too close.

"Here, it’s stuck," Gastone replied, giving the leaf to Lucia.

"Oh," Lucia blinked a couple of tis before taking the leaf. She was nervous all of a sudden, especially slling Gastone’s sll.

"Let’s go, we’re closer," Gastone gestured for Lucia to walk with him. He pulled out the rose pendant in preparation to activate the portal.

"Okay," Lucia nodded and waited for Gastone to walk ahead, but he remained unmoving, which confused her.

"Co," Gastone sighed while shaking his head. He grabbed Lucia’s hand and pulled her with him.

Luca’s mouth hung in astonishnt. Her eyes gazed at her hand, which Gastone gripped gently. She could feel his soft yet callused hand. Her heart beat so loudly that she could hear them.

On the other hand, Gastone was sweating terribly. It was a bold move he made to touch Lucia’s skin before she was gone, and feeling her heat made his heart yearn for her.

Lucia gripped the leaf Gastone gave her and put it securely in her pocket to keep it. She remained silent and let Gastone drag her. However, she was a little worried if her hand started sweating.

As the wind kept blowing, Lucia continued slling a scent from Gastone. It was so great that it made her lightheaded.

"You sll great. What perfu are you using?" Lucia asked curiously. It was the first ti she slled it coming from Gastone.

"Huh? I don’t use any perfu," Gastone replied, frowning at her weird question.

"Really? That’s amazing. It ans it’s your body’s scent!" Lucia exclaid after learning the truth.

"What do I sll like?" Gastone asked. He took no importance of her question since he deed it was the soap he was using.

"Like a fresh cinnamon," Lucia replied before pulling Gastone’s hand, pressing her nose into his skin and slling him. "Ah! It’s addicting!" she exclaid.

Gastone’s eyes widened. He snapped his head at Lucia and slled the sa hand to ensure it wasn’t a superficial scent. He slled nothing, but Lucia kept saying there was.

"Are you sure? Maybe it’s several products you’re using?" Gastone asked. His wolf was yapping in his brain as they thought of the sa thing.

"Nope. I don’t use that similar kind of scent. It’s too manly, but you naturally have it. Must be nice," Lucia giggled and returned her hand to him.

Gastone’s emotions were in havoc. He felt extre delight that Lucia slled the mate’s scent on him but was baffled as to why it happened at the ti she would leave him for good.
