As Felicia’s claws grew closer to Vicenzo’s flesh, he didn’t evade it. For him, he deserved any punishnt his mate gave for what he had done.
Vicenzo closed his eyes and anticipated the pain that was about to co, but after a few seconds of waiting, he felt nothing. He peeked and saw Felicia’s claws half an inch away from his skin. He looked up and saw her crying.
"Sweety," Vicenzo whispered with a pained expression. He stood up and hugged Felicia without caring about her appearance.
"Wahhh!" Felicia cried out and buried her face into Vicenzo’s chest. Even though she wanted revenge, she couldn’t hurt Vicenzo intentionally, which made her cry.
"I’m sorry. I have no reason to get myself out of this mistake, but I’m sorry for everything I have done," Vicenzo whispered, patting Felissa’s back to comfort her.
Slowly, Felicia’s wolf form vanished as she beca a human again. She clung to Vicenzo’s neck when her knees gave out.
Vicenzo hugged his mate’s waists as they sat on the floor. He repeatedly kissed Felicia’s head and rocked her body like a child. It didn’t take long before she fell asleep in his embrace.
"I will do my best to make up for my mistake, sweety. I promise you that," Vicenzo whispered, carefully putting Felicia on the bed. He covered her with a blanket without staring at her body.
Vicenzo sat beside Felicia and caressed her hair away from her face. A small smile appeared on his face as he gazed at her beauty.
"You lt the ice inside . You are my sun," Vicenzo whispered and kissed Felicia’s forehead one more ti before leaving.
Vicenzo rembered how he was stony and inapproachable before since his mind was focused on his missions and taking her mom away from the Mystic Pack.
But Felissa appeared in Vicenzo’s life during the most crucial mission, and he tried his best to stay away from her, only to beco her personal knight.
Currently, Vicenzo decided to plan their wedding to help prepare while leaving the essential details to Felissa since she might want to add additional designs.
Several hours had passed, and Felissa groaned as she awoke from her slumber. She stretched her body, flickered her eyes, and saw the moon shining above.
"Ah!" Felissa exclaid and sat up abruptly. Her recollections were blurry, but she no longer felt the heavy feeling sitting inside her chest. As if a thorn was lifted and was replaced by relief.
"What just happened?" Felissa asked in confusion as she didn’t feel the rage surging in Felicia’s soul. "Felicia, does everything go well?" she added.
But that ti, Felicia didn’t reply and slept deep within Felissa’s consciousness.
Felissa didn’t understand at first and was worried that their et-up would go downhill, but she couldn’t ignore the warm feeling in her chest.
"Perhaps they are fine now," Felissa muttered with a smile. She removed the blanket and realized she was naked underneath. "Kyah!!!" she scread and hurriedly covered up.
Felissa had taken a short bath and dressed herself since she didn’t have a servant to help her. That made her think about Idola and where she was right now. She was still bothered by Idola’s disappearance without her knowledge.
"Ah, I should take a break from all these thoughts," Felissa muttered, breathing heavily. She went to the window and opened them. The fresh air hit her nose and refreshed her lungs. She felt good, and the moon’s beauty added to the scenery.
Felissa decided to take a walk outside. She could sense Vicenzo’s faint scent as she left her room, but he was nowhere to be seen. She first went to the kitchen and took so toasted bread with strawberry jam to snack before dinner.
The servants tried their best to serve Felissa since they aid to be chosen as her personal servant, who had a higher salary and status among the Ogas.
It took Felissa a while before convincing them that she would be fine. She had been used to being served all her life, but experiencing being slightly independent made her want a private life where she could enjoy being alone.
Felissa planned to walk in the woods and be with nature for a few minutes, but when she arrived, she could sll Vicenzo’s sandalwood scent lingering in the air.
"Vicenzo..." Felissa whispered and followed the scent, which went deeper into the forest. After a few minutes of walking, she saw her mate leaning against the tree by the cliff.
"You’re here," Vicenzo spoke, glancing at Felissa with a gentle smile. He stood up and waited for her to co closer.
"Ah... Yes, I slled your scent... and followed," Felissa bit her lips. She felt ashad that she may looked like a stalker.
"Haha! I see. You brought sothing," Vicenzo stated and looked down at Felissa’s basket she was carrying.
"I want to enjoy the fresh air and gaze at the moonlight," Felissa stated and smiled.
"We can watch the moon together," Vicenzo replied and chuckled.
They both sat on the ground rich in fresh grass, and Vicenzo leaned against the tree trunk while Felissa put her head on his shoulder.
"My mories are kind of vague..." Felissa started the conversation, but before she could continue, she received a kiss from Vicenzo.
"It’s alright. I want to say I’m sorry again for what I’ve done and will do everything to atone for my sins," Vicenzo whispered with guilt laced in his voice.
Felissa looked up and felt sorry for bringing her mate another problem.
"No, you being on my side is enough. I feel like Felicia has also forgiven you," Felissa inford so that Vicenzo wouldn’t feel guilty anymore.
"Is she... your other half or your wolf?" Vicenzo asked in curiosity. He had been thinking about it for a while.
"I- I actually don’t know. Felicia had been born inside after the Mating Event where Rosina and I first t. The dication my parents gave helped prevent Felicia from surfacing since, for them, she was not a noble-like woman in terms of manners. Felicia is a free spirit, and she helps beco tough!" Felissa explained with a laugh.
"How are you feeling now that she’s inside you?" Vicenzo asked to get a further understanding of his mate. He was still confused about Felissa and Felicia’s relationship, but he accepted the two of them as his mates.
"It’s hard to describe, but I am fine. Maybe... I can think that she’s my guardian wolf, haha," Felissa replied in amusent. She had little vivid mories of Felicia’s actions while taking over her body. It was the things she wouldn’t do on her own.
"I see. I’m glad Felicia forgives and accepts . I want her to know that she can trust to take care of you, " Vicenzo whispered, kissing Felissa’s forehead. He was still guilty but tried not to show it. He couldn’t help but think about what could’ve happened if Felissa died because of him.
Deep in Felissa’s consciousness, Felicia was watching with a smile on her face. She wanted Felissa to be happy and be who she was rather than submit to other commands.
"Hmm," Felissa humd in delight and snuggled further. A comfortable silence fell on them as they enjoyed each other’s presence.
