"Felissa!" Rosina greeted when she approached Felissa inside her room with her servants tidying her belongings.
"Oh goodness, Rosina. How’s the eting?" Felissa whispered while they embraced. She giggled while enjoying the little teases toward Rosina.
"It went well, I guess," Rosina answered and laughed when she saw the massive grin on Felissa’s face.
"Well, you know what pack I belonged to. You can send a letter anyti, and I’ll make sure to respond on ti," Felissa stated cheerfully as she pouted. "I still wanna hang out with you."
"We can. We still have a lot of ti," Rosina stated and looked at the bright sun outside the window.
"I wish, but my parents will arrive any minute now," Felissa sighed deeply. She felt sad that she needed to return ho sooner than expected.
"Then I’ll be with you until your parents arrive," Rosina giggled and held Felissa’s hand, pulling her outside to have so ti together. Their servants imdiately followed behind them with her suitcases.
"By the way, when will you go back ho?" Felissa whispered and leaned closer to Rosina. They were going outside the building, and so ladies were waiting for their carriage.
"Well, you see. I mated with soone, but we didn’t want to announce it to the public yet," Rosina whispered and saw Felissa’s surprised face, followed by a squeal.
"Are you serious, Lady Rosina?" Felissa stated in disbelief since she thought Rosina had no intention to get mated.
"Yes, but don’t spread this yet. We still need the Monarch’s approval," Rosina sighed and forced a smile. She wasn’t concerned about what would happen next but anxious that her decision to mate with a Prince would bring her more trouble.
"Okay, I will zip my mouth and wait for the announcent first," Felissa stated and couldn’t help but hug Rosina. "Being mated to a good man isn’t that bad."
"I wish that too," Rosina laughed awkwardly and stared at the cheerful expression of Felissa that she had lost earlier due to trauma.
It wasn’t long before a fancy silver carriage arrived in front of Felissa. Inside was a man and woman dressed elegantly with huge jewels dangling on their clothes.
"Let introduce you to my parents," Felissa pulled Rosina with her when the door opened.
"Ah, our beautiful unmated daughter," Renata Nucci, Luna of the Midnight pack, looked at her daughter and glanced at Rosina.
"Good day, Alpha and Luna Nucci," Rosina greeted and curtsied. She gave a soft wide smile to appear innocent and kind in nature.
"Mom, dad, this is Lady Rosina Greco," Felissa introduced Rosina with a smile on her face.
"Ah, the daughter of Alpha Greco of Palecrest pack. You look more decent in real life than the gossip surrounding your na," Aroldo Nucci, Alpha of Mightnight pack, stared at Rosina from top to bottom while nodding his head.
Felissa pursed her lips and was embarrassed by her parent’s attitude toward Rosina. She looked at Rosina with anxious eyes as she didn’t know what to do next.
"Our ti together might be short, but I enjoyed your company, Lady Felissa. I hope our paths will cross again in the future," Rosina said, caressing Felissa’s cheeks and lightly touching her lips with her thumb. "You should go now."
Felissa pouted. She felt touched by Rosina’s soft words and pulled her tightly for a hug. "I will wait for that day to co."
Felissa bid goodbye to Rosina before she hopped inside the carriage. The Alpha and Luna nodded their head toward Rosina as acknowledgnt before their carriage went away, but before that, Rosina heard what they said.
"After all the ladies in the event, you befriended the lowest noble!" Renata stated angrily, and the sound of a slap echoed.
Rosina was surprised and took two steps ahead as a reflex, but the carriage ran faster. She wanted to snap Renata’s neck for hurting Felissa, even though she’s her mother.
"Lady Rosina," Fina whispered behind when they saw Rosina’s change of expression. So ladies were also looking at her since she was a noble.
"Let’s go," Rosina stated and walked back inside the building and sat on the lounge since they had to wait for her parents to arrive.
"Lady Rosina, are you feeling unwell?" Sal whispered and hid behind Fina. They were worried about Rosina, especially since her aura and expression scared them.
"I’m fine," Rosina forced a smile, took a deep breath, and leaned back on the chair.
It didn’t take long before she slled familiar scents getting closer. Rosina stood up and walked outside; her servants were confused but followed her imdiately.
There was no one outside, which made Rosina satisfied. She stood there and waited for the incoming fancy white carriage. Rosina couldn’t help but scoff since the carriage her parents were using looked expensive, but in reality, they were at the poverty line.
The carriage stopped before her, and the coachman imdiately opened the door for Rosina. Her father didn’t even acknowledge her presence. Only her mother, Natale, smiled and embraced her.
"How are you, darling?" Natale stated and grabbed Rosina’s hand and squeezed it tightly.
"I’m fine, mother," Rosina stated and forced a soft smile. She looked at her father, who was smirking at her. "Hello, father."
"I see you’ve beco a good b*tch after all. Instantly bringing a mate in just three days. You are just like your mother," Cleto stated and laughed while mocking them.
"Then should I reject the man, father?" Rosina muttered softly, but she didn’t look down and stared straight into her father’s eyes. That action shows dominance and a challenge to an Alpha.
"You dare!?" Cleto growled threateningly and was about to slap Rosina, but his wife blocked and held his arms.
"Husband, Rosina had finally gotten a mate. That’s what you want in the first place. Please, don’t hurt her, or else her mate will see the bruises," Natale begged and forced a smile. Her husband retreated his hands with a grumble.
"Then I’ll teach you a lesson when we get ho," Cleto growled and glared at Rosina, who stayed silent throughout the ride.
