MICHEAL~

Slowly, I watched as she opened her eyes and raised her head as she woke up from sleep, a smile crept unto my lips as I saw strands of her brown hair scattered across her face, ’Wow’ I thought to myself as she yawned and stretched before looking back at .

"Hey." she greeted, her voice still filled with the drowsiness of sleep.

"Hey," I responded as I closed my laptop and looked at her.

"What’s the ti?"

"6 am," I answered, she groaned and lay back down on the ground.

"You’re not a morning person," I asked as a soft chuckle escaped my lips.

"No one’s a morning person." She answered drowsily.

"I am." I replied as I stood up and began arranging the books I used "I’m done, lem take you ho?" I said as I helped her to her feet.

I walked into my apartnt, my body sore from the work I had been doing as I sluggishly dragged myself straight into my room, I knew I’d have to go to the eting in a few hours but I just wanted to shut my eyes for a few seconds, I didn’t understand the sudden wave of exhaustion when I had been in her presence I had no problem being awake but as soon as I had dropped her off everything had changed, my body suddenly felt heavier and my mind fuzzy as I struggled to keep my eyes open. I crashed into the warm softness that was my bed and felt as if my body was lting into it, I let out a satisfied moan as I turned around and drew my pillow to myself and rested well, I was about to drift further into sleep when I rembered the reason I rembered the reason I was so tired.

"The pitch!" I shouted as I jumped off the bed and ran straight into the shower to take a bath before I headed out to the location of the eting. As I hurriedly put the my clothes all my eyes were fixed on the clock that seed to be moving three tis as fast as normal, it didn’t feel like I had even closed my eyes so how did two hours pass so quickly, "8:43" I read aloud as I knotted my tie and wore my shoes, I rushed into the living drank so coffee then picked up my keys and laptop and sprinted out of the house.

I sped through the road, making sure to maintain the speed limit cause getting stopped by cops would probably take more ti than I had available, The car ca to a halt in front of the building and I imdiately rushed out and handed the keys to a valet that was coming to .

"Thank you!" I shouted as I ran past him and into the building, I zipped through the halls and went straight into the elevator, and just like I had hoped, there he was.

"Mr Johnson." I greeted them with a smile.

"Mr. Wilson," he replied, his surprise evident through his voice, he checked his watch before he looked back at .

"On ti as usual."

"Well, I have a reputation to uphold," I replied, maintaining the smile I had.

"Do you want to start now?"

"What do you an" I played dumb.

"It’s no coincidence that you are an hour and thirty minutes early is it?", I chuckled but didn’t respond imdiately.

"It must be, I don’t just like being late."

"Ok," He said with a smile as he faced the door of the elevator and waited for it to get to his selected floor.

"While I have you here, I wanna explain why Wilson Advertising should be your firm’s only consideration," I said in an upbeat manner.

"Ok let’s have it." He chuckled.

By the ti the elevator doors opened, we were already sealing the deal with a handshake.

"Don’t let down." He said as he let go of my hand.

"I won’t." I said as I watched him walk out of the elevator "I’ll send over the docunts for you to sign."

"No problem." Mr Johnson said, waving at as he walked to his office.

"Yes." I cheered as I pressed the button and went back down the elevator.

After the successful pitch with Mr Johnson, I had gone over to Romani’s to have a celebratory drink with Thomas.

"Another one in the bag!" Thomas cheered as our glasses clashed together "You sure you don’t want a drink".

"Nahh, water is fine." I said as I took a sip and put the glass down "Sorry for bailing on you yesterday." I apologized as I leaned into the chair.

"It’s fine bro, after you ditched I t up with this baddie." He replied as he showed a picture of a woman on his phone, my eyes widened with amazent.

"She’s hot right?" he asked as he saw the amazed look on my face.

"That’s one way to put it." I said with a chuckle "How was she in the sheets?" I asked wanting to get a clearer picture.

"A banger!, Honestly she made scared bro, I thought I was gonna bust one out when she climbed out of ."

"Soone made you scared?" I asked, disbelief filling the words I spoke.

"I swear bro, the way her body moved, the way she moaned, I thought I was gonna lose my mind bro." He explained happily.

"Wow."

"I think I’m in love bro."

"Don’t be an idiot, you just had a good fuck." I said

"Yes the sex was good but after we were done, I didn’t wanna leave, we talked and fell asleep together and this morning she was still there." He said, usually he’d be angry at that behavior but now he seed chard by it.

"You sure?"

"Bro, I swear I can’t stop thinking about her."

"Are you sure she wasn’t just that good?"

"She was, but it’s sothing else," he admitted.

"Ohk, That’s nice." I finally said as I chugged down the water in my cup, he looked at with eyes of suspicion.

"What?"

"When was the last ti?"

"Last ti of what?" I asked, slightly confused by his abrupt question.

"When was the last ti you fucked?" I raised a brow.

"None of your concern" I evaded.

"Whoa that long," he said mockingly.

"Fuck you man" I chuckled.

"Why though?"

"I’ve been busy"

"Busy, when you’re not at work, you’re with " He reminded.

"So—"

"No excuses bro, here’s what’s gonna happen, we’re going out tonight" he interrupted with a wide smile.
