Alpha Academy BL Chapter 93

Alois glanced down at Cecil, studying him intently. It made Cecil’s heart slow down, certain that Alois would call him out for having a couple of his shirts on his arm.

Alois frowned, reaching out hesitantly like he expected Cecil to refuse him. "Were you crying?"

Cecil’s eyes widened again, his pupils shaking as Alois reached out a hand to brush his cheek, he had totally forgotten that he had been crying. He crudely wiped at his eyes with his free hand which was a mistake because it made him tear up again.

’Why was Alois always so nice to him? They were of vastly different social standing.’

While Alois was literally higher ranked than most nobles, Cecil was rely an imposter. He hadn’t even been born into a wealthy family and was instead picked off the streets by an ambitious businessman who was yet to have a child and saw potential in him.

’Would Alois also think he was fit to be a butler if he found out about his past?’ He was exhausted from having to play charades and wear the skin of the son of a wealthy businessman. He was tired of chasing his father’s approval and never getting it, he just wanted to do the things he was interested in and have his father comnd him still.

The bloody tears also wouldn’t stop falling. ’Would Alois also think he was weak?’ Why did he care about what Alois thought so much?

Concern blood on Alois’ face when Cecil’s face crumpled, watching with a bit of helpless panic when he placed both hands on his face in a bid to stem his tears.

He took the shirts that had been bundled up in Cecil’s hold, he was curious about why Cecil had been going through his wardrobe and stealing his clothes but it wasn’t the ti for it so he tossed his clothes to the side and pulled Cecil into arms instead.

This seed to be the final hit to the wall of the dam that held back Cecil’s tears. It was years of bottled-up pain because Cecil didn’t feel like he had the right to complain.

As his father made sure to tell him at every chance he got, he was luckier than most so he had no reason to complain. His life was only worth sothing because he had been picked off the streets.

He should push Alois away instead of staining his warm skin with his salty tears. Why was Alois putting up with it anyway? He was just a random Alpha... Why did it hurt so much when soone was being nice?

It was why he found it difficult to accept Leeson and Perry as friends, his family, and his social circle before entering the academy apart from those two treated him with thinly veiled disdain. like they weren’t pleased about treating a poor orphan like everyone else.

And yet still, his tears didn’t stop or even slow down. Just how much of it did he have in him? It didn’t help that Alois held him so tightly, like he was sothing precious. It was the only thing keeping Cecil together.

They stood in that position for quite so ti or maybe it was rely a few minutes but felt like forever to Cecil. He still had his hands over his face even though he was pressed up against Alois’ chest.

When he finally ran out of tears to cry, he slowly took away his hands. The tears fixed nothing, he only felt more miserable and hollow inside like his tears were all he had filling him up and now that it was all gone, he was an empty shell.

Cecil leaned back slightly and Alois let him, easing his hold on him a bit. "I got you dirty." He sniffled using the sleeves of his own shirt to wipe the tears that had streaked down Alois’ torso.

Alois stopped him by taking his wrists. "No, you didn’t." He said in a matter-of-fact manner that didn’t leave room for disagreent.

His brows were furrowed as he watched Cecil avoid his eyes, he was a little lost but didn’t know what to say. He was also very angry, it was like a scorching fla burning right under his heart. He thought he could only kill for the Royalty and the country but he wouldn’t hesitate to stop the heart of whoever hurt Cecil.

Cecil pulled away, "You don’t have to be nice to ." He grumbled, fires of mortification burning his face a hot red. "Shouldn’t you be with Giselle? Why are you he... ah!"

Alois didn’t let him get all his words out before bending slightly to pick him up, hooking his arms under Cecil’s thighs by his sides. This forced Cecil to throw his arms around Alois’ neck for balance, protests spilling out.

"Put down right now!" He demanded, glaring down at his impulsive roommate.

Alois turned a deaf ear to his complaints, taking Cecil to his bathroom to place him on the counter.

Cecil crossed his arms in an attempt to hide how flustered he was, watching Alois bustle briefly around the bathroom. His next words died in his throat when Alois wiped his face with a wet towel.

The counter brought them eye to eye, Cecil staring at Alois with stars in his eyes then he blinked and his eyes beca shrewd again. "You don’t have to be nice to ." He repeated, smacking Alois’ hand away. "I’m rely a commoner and not even a rich one." He said coldly, making a move to get off the counter.

Alois imdiately stepped in front of him to stop him from getting off the counter; he tilted his head with a frown, trying to make sense of what Cecil was saying. "What does that have to do with anything?"

Cecil was flabbergasted, "It has everything to with everything!" He blustered. "Look," He jabbed a finger at Alois’ chest. "I was picked off the streets," He forced out, the words feeling like lava in his mouth. "So Giselle was right, I could be your b... but..."

The rage on Alois’ face made him falter, he fell silent and looked away, feeling strangely guilty about what he said.

Alois ca even closer, his hands placed on the counter on either side of Cecil. "Can I kiss you?"
