Alpha Academy BL Chapter 85

Henri made his way back to his dorm room from the racecourse, the Inter school competitions would be happening in just a few days and he had chosen to join in the competitions for the fun of it.

But he was starting to reconsider his decision, mostly because his club mbers never took practice seriously, spending all their ti talking about the competitions without actually preparing for it.

He didn’t understand what was so special about the sister counterpart of their college coming over, they were just students as well, weren’t they?

Disappointingly, he wouldn’t even get a chance to race any of them because of their separate categories because he was certain that there was no one in the club currently who could keep up with him.

He wasn’t being egoistical, he just wanted so interesting competition for once. The whole point of racing against others was to actually struggle, wasn’t it?

It was different when he rode all by himself back at the castle, then, the knowledge of the adrenaline rush a good race caused was still unknown to him.

It was almost ti for dinner so he had to hurry a bit to get cleaned up before his dorm room was sward again. Another downside to the mock competitions.

Recently, Audie and Valentin had taken to coming to his dorm room to get him for everything, sothing they hadn’t done since the first week of school, Henri was displeased by it.

They would usually et up with them at the dining hall, Nael and Errol occasionally joining them but now, they all ca to his dorm room first.

Just when Henri had been celebrating a recent win too, he had finally gotten Louis to stop fussing over him as much as he used to. He still did it, there was no doubt about that but fortunately, it wasn’t as bad as it was right after their field trip.

Talking about the trip, his mother had surprisingly taken the news of the incident in stride. Well, she had sent him lengthy letters everyday for a full week afterwards but it was still much better than her storming over to the academy in a frenzy.

Rowe and Seton had been quietly dismissed from the academy after the investigation was concluded, which didn’t co as a surprise. Harmless fights might not be against the rules at the academy but that didn’t make it a lawless place.

He was pulled out of his thoughts when he got to the hallway his dorm room was on and he saw a crowd in front of his room. He didn’t even ask any questions, turning around and hightailing it out of there.

"Henri! We were waiting for you!" Valentin imdiately caught sight of him and charged down the hallway after him.

Henri slowed down with an exhausted sigh, this was what he had to deal with ever since the Inter school events drew closer. Lucky Nael and Errol were too busy with each other or there would have been an even much larger crowd.

For now it was just Valentin and Audie, Louis and Dio, and for so reason, his next door neighbors. And what do you know? They were all talking about the upcoming Inter school events.

"I need to clean up, why don’t you all head down to the dining hall together, I’ll et you when I’m done." Henri said, standing firmly in his doorway so none of them would be able to weasel their way inside his dorm room.

Louis smiled politely. "We don’t mind waiting."

Henri slamd the door in their faces and stomped inside in a peeve, grumbling under his breath about annoying Alphas who wouldn’t leave him be.

He was almost tempted to drag out his bath ti to get so payback but he couldn’t, finding himself practically hurrying so he wouldn’t keep them waiting.

Hopefully, Errol would join them for dinner tonight and he could hold a conversation with him that didn’t involve Ogas or Balls.

Much like the morning of the field trip, the academy was already bustling before dawn. The mock competitions would begin early so that they could fit in every sport before the day ended.

Cecil was one of the many that was up early to get ready. He wasn’t interested in the competitions themselves but rather wanted to cultivate good rep. He might have gotten derailed entirely but his initial goal was still to gain popularity.

What better way to do that than to get the attention of the Ogas that would be visiting their college that morning?

He scowled at his reflection in the mirror, displeased with the shade of his hair. After leaving his hair to grow out, he trimd the bleached blonde edges.

Now there was nothing left of his regal fair hair, all that he had was dark brown hair with dull highlights at the tips. He wasn’t the type to go back on his word though so he didn’t bleach it again much like he wanted to and got dressed for the day.

His morning routine involved avoiding his roommate and failing more often than not, much like this morning...

"Don’t ruffle up my hair." He complained, slightly out of breath as he tried to push Alois off him.

Maybe he didn’t entirely hate the stolen kisses but he would appreciate it if his roommate didn’t jump him at every chance he got.

He had also spent a decent amount of ti styling his hair, he didn’t want Alois pulling on it and ssing up his work.

Alois paused and intently stared at Cecil’s hair, he was currently shirtless and had waited for his roommate to step out of his bathroom before jumping him.

"Did you cut your hair?" He curiously asked. "It looks good..."

Cecil’s face caught fire at the complint and he shoved Alois off him. "I said don’t touch it!"

He angrily smoothed down his hair and stomped off, heading for the door. He had only taken a little off the edges of his hair, how had Alois noticed? Or was he rely cruelly teasing him?

Cecil hated his brown hair, it was so mousy and dull. Was Alois taunting him by complinting his hair?

Alois watched him leave with a frown on his face, Cecil had never been that fussy about his hair before. Flas of jealousy slowly burned in his mind, he could guess why.
