04. The Boy Who Looks Like A Girl

[Alexei’s POV]

That day, I finished my morning work as always and just ca back ho.

And then I found her in front of my house.

It’s a girl with black hair, sothing unusual in this country.

She was wearing so kind of an accessory made of two glasses around her eyes. I’ve never seen this before, either.

And she had a considerably delicate physique to the extent that I beca worried.

Sleeping in this grassland is unsafe so I tried waking her up, but she didn’t wake up at all even if I shook her shoulder or called out to her.

I noticed that she’s apparently not sleeping but is actually unconscious, so I carried her in my arms and hurriedly took her along to my house.

That is when I realized that it’s not a girl, but a boy.

... I never thought I would be this disappointed.

The boy did not wake up easily, but since he did not have any particular injuries either, I decided to visit the actual scene once again.

When I returned to the house after a short while, the boy was crouching down at the front door and was muttering sothing incoherently.

“Oi, are you already fine?”

When I called out to him, the boy looked back at my direction as if he was surprised.

His eye, which were opened wide that they seem like they’ll fall out, and his hair are similarly pitch black.

And he still looks like a girl either way.

Furthermore, what surprised the most were the words he spoke that I can’t understand.

I did not think that there was soone who could not speak the official language of this world.

I wonder what kind of mountain recesses did he co from?

Then when he burst into tears, he sohow stirred up my desire to protect, we began living together while I taught him the language.

That is when I noticed Haruto had an abnormally small appetite and he likes flowers very much.

Haruto has a beloved beautiful book where many imaginary flowers are drawn, it seems to be very valuable.
