17. The Reason I Ca To This World

I do not have an emotional attachnt to this world in particular.

As far as I am concerned, this world is nothing more than Alex, Urie and my fellow workers in the garden.

The Alex who said that didn’t have his usual frivolous impression at all.

When I heard these words, I made up my mind.

I interrupted Alex’s remark as he beca angry, and continued.

“For , this world is nothing more than Alex, Urie and everyone in the garden. Above all, there are favors I received from Alex which I cannot completely return. Besides, Alex also said that it’s fine for you to go out to a war for my sake. Doesn’t that an Alex gives priority to more than to yourself? If that’s the case, then I will give priority to Alex over myself. Also, this choice is not just for the citizens of Orania. This is also for the citizens of the country that might declare war against us. If war happens, I’m sure Alex will knock them down, right?”

When I said that much without pausing, Alex embraced tightly.

“Perhaps, this is the reason why I ca to this country. When I think of the possiblity that Alex was the one to pick up, it’s sohow cool.”

My voice is a little tearful, I burried my face in Alex’s chest.

“It’s not for such reason. Haruto must have co to this country to find happiness.”
