Ban secretly smiled thinking of his plan. He irked up his ear and focused on that area of the tree. And he guessed it right, Rila really erged from behind the tree and slowly pulled the hanging at towards her side. She then took a bit from it without any hesitation before she stepped back behind the tree again before disappearing from Ban's ears.
Behind the tree, Rila just shook her head as she guessed what Ban was thinking. She knew that she had already been exposed by Ban so there's no use hiding from him anymore. Instead of making things awkward and difficult for the child, she thought that it should be better to announce it to him straight that she isn't hostile.
Ban smiled 'seeing' what had transpired from the distance. Now that he already confird it, he eased up a little, knowing that there was truly soone protecting him from the dark. Although he thought that her speed was a little disappointing, it's better than nothing at least.
However, he also realised that with soone always watching him from the dark, he should take extre caution on what kind of ability and skill he can and cannot showcase, in order to avoid them getting the wrong idea.
However, thinking about the recent deeds he did during his hunt, he could only smile wryly. For now, he should just think of so reasonable excuses when he gets back.

Seeing that, Ciera could help but be taken aback. No longer suspecting anything, she tried to push the Yak away as she also decided to take a portion of the at and ate it imdiately.
Even the Yak has already digged in, how could she not do the sa?
