Ban kept Tria inside the Beast Tattoo for the ti being and proceeded forward with the utmost caution.
Ban has already equipped all of his items, including the Rapid Boots which allowed him easy travel on such wet soil.
The Demon Mushroom was a Beast that could hide in plain sight. They have three Skills in total, Miasma Root, Miasmatic Body, and Miasmatic Shower, and then there was their racial Skill that allowed them to hide in plain sight, the Concealnt which would only go off if they move to hunt or wait for prey.
Its concealnt Skill was of no effect to Ban as he could now discern them with his newly gained Skill. Had it not been for the fact that he got the Echo Hearing Skill, he would really not bother to hunt this Lord Grade Beast at all as it would take him a long ti to find one.
The shade of the densely packed trees also obscured his vision a little. But Ban has nothing to worry about as he could still see everything around him, except for so certain difficult spots.
After a couple of minutes, Ban finally found an odd spot on one of the trees. He suspected that it might be the Demon Mushroom so he imdiately used the Echo Hearing if it was truly it after he hid on one of the tree's thick body
His ears heated up as if the energy concentrated at them at this mont. re monts later, the vibrations of the surroundings entered his ears, allowing him to 'see' everything clearly, even those difficult spots he was not able to discern with his eyes before.
He focused on that suspected spot and to see if it was truly the Demon Mushroom, and to his surprise it truly was.
He did not expect to find it this soon.
He surveyed the surroundings again and realized that moving at such a location while fighting was not suitable for them. Especially with the kind of Skill that the Demon Mushroom possessed.
The Miasmatic Root allowed it to sprout poisonous roots anywhere around it, the Miasmatic Body protected its body from harm in all directions, and then the Miasmatic Shower was the most troubleso of all of its Skills. It allows it to shoot a shower of miasma around it, to poison and corrode everything.
Though he has the Ant Mask and the Noble Moth Cloak that was indestructible in his current realm, the sa thing could not be said to his other items.
Ban spends at most 10 minutes thinking of a solution to his current problem.
The trees were just a ter apart from each other, and the Demon Mushroom was attached to one of the trees, making it even harder to attack it. Fortunately, the height it attached to was not that high or else, its difficulty level would surely rise as well.
Ban's plan was simple, he planned on using Reinforce to himself and Eva to fight off so of the miasma that the mushroom might release, and just puml it down till it died.
Ban summoned Eva and Tria and explained to them his simple plan.
The two just nodded their heads, telling him that they understand.
Now that the matter has been settled, Ban prepared to launch an attack directly.
Right after he casted all of the remaining Reinforce on himself, Eva and Tria, he suddenly thought of an idea that might make things easier if it goes right.
The Demon Mushroom was still in concealnt this entire ti. It was not aware that he was already aware of its existence.
If he 'innocently' approached it now, it would think that he was an easy prey and would try to attack him if he entered its attacking range.
But what if, before it could attack, he would attack it first?
It would surely not expect it and would be startled.
Thinking that his plan might be plausible, Ban reviewed the knowledge he knew about the Demon Mushroom first. Its attitude, strength, the way they fight so on and so forth.
After five minutes of reviewing, Ban was now fully assured that the plan he thought earlier might be possible after all.
So, he imdiately acted and kept Eva and Tria inside the Beast Tattoo for now. He would need them later for the surprise attack and their role would be as important as his.
To appear less 'intimidating' Ban also kept the Noble Moth Cloak and the Ant Mask inside the Dinsional Storage so that the Demon Mushroom would not suspect anything.
The dagger was again tied at his lower back securely for easy access.
After everything was settled, Ban was finally ready to take action.
He erged from the tree he hid behind earlier, and started to walk normally and innocently towards the Demon Mushroom's location.
He did not go straight away as it might beco too obvious. So what he did was to take so detours here and there, while acting as if he was searching for sothing, for example, a treasure which every Adventurer loves.
After a couple of detours, Ban was finally only a few ters away from the Demon Mushroom. From the looks of it, it also looked like the Demon Mushroom had already noticed him as well, and it had already put its eyes on him.
Ban did not mind the stare of the Demon Mushroom as he proceeded to act as innocent and as harmless as possible as he continued to narrow down their distance.
He stepped towards a tree on the side and inspected all of its side, he looked up and down before he proceeded to the next.
Although there was only re 3 ters of a distance between him and the Demon Mushroom, Ban was not in a rush to approach it, nor the Demon Mushroom was in a rush to attack him.

At this mont, Ban was already just literally below the Demon Mushroom. But he was staring down at this mont, acting as if he was aware of the Demon Mushroom who was staring at him greedily at this mont.
It must be thinking that a food had just delivered itself unto its mouth.
The Demon Mushroom licked its tongue, and as it could not wait any longer, it imdiately struck towards Ban at extre speed.
