After the Unknown Egg consud the Drainer Fox's dead body, the count also changed from 2/50 to 3/50.
He still needed 47 more before he could hatch the Unknown Egg.
Only a puddle of blood remained from the Drainer Fox's dead body. Fortunately, Ban checked the notification, or else, the Unknown Egg would surely devour the Skill Crystal as well.
That would be tragic!
Ban stored the Unknown Egg inside the Beast Tattoo again while he checked Eva's situation. Compared to before, there was already a lot of crack present around the surface of the Beast Core. Ban beca even more confident about his estimation earlier.
He then saw Tria flying over to him. She was supposed to be the back up, or the escape plan if sothing goes awry. Fortunately, everything went smoothly so there was no need for her help.
Tria flew over and with a buzz, she instantly arrived in front of Ban in her normal form. She perched on Ban's head happily after circling around him a few tis.
Ban did not chase her away and just allowed her to use his head as a perch. Besides, Ban also did not feel any uncomfort while she rested there as her weight was not sothing that he could not handle.
He then went under a Cursed Tree and sat there to rest for a bit while waiting for the cooldown of his Skills.
The Enraged Crocodile Roar was not used this ti as he did not feel the need to.
He contemplated for a bit as he recalled the battle earlier. The dagger was quite useful as it could easily pierce anything under the singular realm. He took note of this and decided to always use this dagger. And as for the Twin Baton, he planned to sell it later on. After all, it was no longer useful for him.
And even though he quite liked it due to him being familiar with the weapon already, he thought that such matters were not that important. The Twin Baton was a blunt weapon after all. Unless he has a terrifying strength, he could not really insta kill any opponent, unlike the dagger where he has a chance to do so as long as he hits a crucial part.
He then thought about his Skill utilization and thought deeply on how to improve it. There was also the Partial Transformation that he had yet to use as well. Though, he also would not be able to use it for the ti being.
That Skill needs a target summon before it could be used. Tria was not suitable for being the target yet as aside from her wings, he could really not think of any part of her body that was useful in battle.
Unlike the Possession Skill in which he considered as one of his trump cards, the Partial Transformation Skill still allows the Summon to fight like usual.
The Possession Skill borrows one random Skill from the Summon that 'possessed' you, while the Partial Transformation Skill allowed the Summoner to transform into any part of their choice, while bringing along their original characteristics. For example, Eva's four arms which could lift anything multiple tis heavier than here/
Hence, Eva would be the perfect target of this Skill, but she was unavailable at the mont so Ban could only wait for the ti being.
The Sound Shut works passively and the System would warn him if a sound-type skill was used. Fist Penetration, although useful, can also be considered as a blunt attack, and could not guarantee a kill, even more so if the opponent has a strong body or defense. Reinforce was a defensive Skill that he could use on himself. Ban did not want to overly rely on this so he rarely used it nowadays. He liked evading more than staying put and becoming a punching bag.
Ban shook his head after contemplating for a bit and realizing that he could have actually killed that Drainer Fox more easily if he only utilized his Skills properly.
However, he did not dwell about it for long as he was also aware that he was only starting. It would be quite a surprise if he beca an expert on using his Skills just with a few tries.
What is he, a genius?
Ban knew he was not, he could only work hard.
Only a little more than ten minutes had passed ever since he let the Unknown Egg absorb the Drainer Fox. All of his Skills were already on cooldown and he also saw that Tria had already rested for a bit, so he no longer wasted any more ti as they proceeded to the next location.
While atop Tria, he realized that he could actually use the ti while they were flying to let the Skills cooldown finish so that they would not waste any ti. However, he also shook his head a mont later as he realized that although possible, it would also not be that productive, as he would also use that ti to think about the previous battle and learn from his mistakes.
He would not be able to think about them while atop Tria as he was still not used to flying, although the Book of Techniques and the System has already injected the experience to his brain.
Tria traveled at moderate speed this ti as per Ban's order. He doesn't want to miss so wild treasures so he ordered Tria to slow down a little.
And fortunately, he did so. As right at the five minutes mark while flying, he spotted another treasure from below that was quite delicious. Looking at the map in front of him, he realized that he was actually atop this place called Shwamp.

He had already tasted the Scale Snake Beast's Egg before as Kuys prepared it for him and Eva.
Boss Mario even mocked him during that ti when he asked where Kuys obtained such a delicious egg. Of course, Mario received a flick from Kuys which Ban finds amusing.
Kuys at that ti told Ban that the Scale Snakes habitat was located on the West Side of Eagle City, it was on a place called Shwamp.
He did not expect that he would be able to get here this soon. If Boss Mario learned of this, how would he feel?
Anyways, with his head being filled with thoughts about the delicious egg, Ban let Tria descend on one of the trees around.
