Ban and Eva in particular were the one who ate the most at. Belle was even surprised on where the hell are they storing those at they ate. She even imagined that they might have so sort of Storage Pouch on their stomachs for them to be able to eat that much, especially Eva.
On the other hand, Delo and his Barrier Turtle could only look at them in envy. They saw Belle and the Summon's delight while eating so it was no wonder how they would also imagine themselves being there.
They already finished their beef jerky but after inhaling those aromatic smokes, the beef jerky tasted fake in their mouth.
Their heads were down in disappointnt, especially the Barrier Turtle. However, the Barrier Turtle's head suddenly twitched. Its nose perked up, almost like it was tracing sothing.

They heard a strange voice speaking not far from them. The Barrier Turtle and Delo looked over at the sa ti and to their surprise, it was actually Leon.
On his hands were the plate full of Sand Buffalo's at earlier, but it now only has a few pieces left. Leon offered it to them, and before Delo could disagree, his Barrier Turtle had already moved swiftly towards Leon.
"Tori!" Delo exclaid.
However, the Barrier Turtle did not listen to him at all as it started to gobble the at one by one.
Ban could only smile under his mask while shaking his head. He then turned around to leave them alone.
And the mont Ban turned around, Delo no longer held himself back as he went to grab a piece of Sand Buffalo at before shoving it to his mouth, almost like a beggar.
The Barrier Turtle growled but it still continued to gobble up so at.
Delo and his own Barrier Turtle ended up fighting on the last Sand Buffalo at. From how tasty it was, neither of them wanted to give up that last piece of at.
It was already more than an hour and they figured that the rest was more than enough. They had now filled up their stomachs, and they should continue the Quest now.
Ban just watched as Belle and Delo packed their things back to the Storage Pouches.
"Thanks for that delicious al, Mr. Leon, " Belle said softly the mont she finished packing all of her things.
It was her first ti tasting that kind of fresh at and it even ca from a Beast that she did not even know about up until now. She even thought about bragging it to her father once they returned ho.
It was a new experience for her and Leon's cooking also did not disappoint her. It was all the more reason her heart kept on pounding when he was near her.
Although she could not explain where it started, however, she was fully aware that she now had a crush on Leon, even though she only saw half of his face. She did not know what caused it, but she did know that he was a lot better compared to Delo, her personal bodyguard.
Delo heard her thanking him, but he was reluctant to do the sa. Although he admits that it was really tasty, at least, he does not want to admit it to them verbally. He already embarrassed himself enough earlier by fighting over that last at with Tori. He thought that it was already enough of a thanks.
His Barrier Turtle on the other hand bowed its head towards him. Ban understood it as the Turtle saying thanks to him. He also nodded his head back as a response.
"Don't ntion it! Let's continue along, if we get lucky, we should be able to return before it gets dark." Ban said to Belle as he walked forward along with Eva.
Belle nodded her head as she beckoned her Res Falcok to perch on her shoulder again. Delo then followed behind them without saying anything.
However, even before they could move ten steps ahead, the sand they were standing on actually trembled a little.
Delo and Belle were visibly surprised and scared as they recalled that terrifying Century Centipede earlier.
"No way!" Delo exclaid as he held Tori close to him. He ordered Tori to prepare and imdiately use its barrier skills to him and Belle the mont he said so.
Ban saw their actions but he only ignored them. Unlike them, he was actually aware of the real reason why the ground quakes a little.
"Follow ! Don't worry, it's not the Century Centipede this ti. If my guess is right, we might be able to return early today.." Ban said as he ran ahead of them.
