"Starlight.

Chairman’s office.

Lin Yuan knocked on the door.

A slightly heavy voice ca from inside:

"Co in."

Lin Yuan pushed the door and entered.

On the sofa beside the office sat a man of dium stature. This man was Li Songhua, the chairman of Starlight.

Li Songhua was slightly older than Ol’ Zhou, of dium stature. He had a neat black beard on his lower jaw, and his gaze seed peaceful and elegant yet sohow conveyed an aura of restrained power.

"Hello, Chairman."

Lin Yuan greeted him politely.

"Take it easy, have a seat."

Li Songhua said with courtesy, "I heard you like tea…"

As he spoke, the Chairman of Starlight had already poured cups of tea for both Lin Yuan and himself:

"Want to try?"

"Sure."

In the calming aroma of the tea, Lin Yuan took his seat across from Li Songhua, and gently took a sip of the tea; the temperature was just right.

"Is it good?"

"It’s fine."

"..."

A mont of silence filled the air.

They continued drinking tea.

After one cup of tea, Li Songhua spoke again:

"Actually, even if you hadn’t sought out, I would have wanted to talk to you—I heard you have accepted the company shares, have you considered participating in the board etings in the future?"

"Can I send soone to attend on my behalf?"

"Other people might not be able to, but for you, it’s possible."

"Thank you."

"There’s no need to be formal. Treat Starlight as your own ho; if you want to take your dog for a walk at the company, then take your dog for a walk, if you want to play hooky to go out and play, go ahead. We treat talents preferentially and believe in human-centric managent."

Lin Yuan nodded.

Li Songhua, seemingly already familiar with Xian Yu’s taciturn nature, didn’t mind:

"If you have any future suggestions regarding the company’s direction, you can voice them through the board etings or communicate directly with face-to-face."

"Alright."

"Did you co here today to talk to about sothing?"

"Yes."

"Do you know Chu Kuang?" asked Lin Yuan.

Li Songhua chuckled, "Xian Yu in the South, Chu Kuang in the North; he’s a figure as renowned as yourself. Of course, I know him. I know that both of you have quite the relationship. The acquisition of Journey to the West series was due to the relationship between you two. Why are you bringing up Chu Kuang suddenly?"

Lin Yuan didn’t imdiately answer.

He was originally planning to reveal his identity as ’Shadow’, but for Starlight, Chu Kuang’s importance was evidently much higher.

That’s because Chu Kuang’s copyrighted works were much needed by the company.

After all, Starlight Entertainnt was now developing towards the film and television industry.

Li Songhua didn’t rush him.

He changed to a pot of hot water and continued pouring tea for Lin Yuan. His technique was much more professional than Ol’ Zhou’s.

"I am Chu Kuang."

Watching Li Songhua carefully pour the tea, Lin Yuan suddenly spoke.

Flow, flow, flow.

The tea flowed from the pot into the cup.

Except for the flowing tea, the entire scene seed frozen.

Li Songhua’s hand froze in mid-air, his face filled with confusion.

In the soft patter,

the tea, hanging in mid-air, had filled the cup and started to overflow widely.

The green tea spilled, wetting the entire table and swiftly spreading to the edges.

A mist rose between Lin Yuan and Li Songhua.

"Ah!"

Li Songhua ca to his senses and quickly put down the teapot.

Lin Yuan quickly moved his legs aside and took out a napkin to dry the water on the table.

The frozen scene began to liven up again.

Nobody said a word.

It was not until the table was cleaned that Li Songhua, his voice trembling slightly, asked again:

"What did you just say...I didn’t hear it clearly."

"I am Chu Kuang."

Lin Yuan repeated his statent.

In the end, he chose to play the Chu Kuang card.

As Lin Yuan knew, compared to Shadow, Chu Kuang would definitely have more intersections with Starlight in the future.

Whoosh.

The scene froze once again.

Following this, Li Songhua stood up from his seat.

Lin Yuan looked up at Li Songhua.

Their eyes t, and then Li Songhua suddenly moved as though he was having a fit: "My legs are starting to feel numb from sitting too long."

"Mmm."

Lin Yuan picked up the teapot and poured a cup for Li Songhua as well.

"You’re Chu Kuang?"

Li Songhua watched Lin Yuan’s movents. His lips twitched as he asked.

"Yes."

"Aren’t you Xian Yu?"

"Is there any conflict between the two?"

"..."

With a thump,

Li Songhua sank back in his chair, his face filled with life’s doubts.

He really wanted to appear calm but it seed like he failed…

Li Songhua put his cards on the table.

He no longer hid his shock.

Between panting breaths, Li Songhua continued to stare directly at Lin Yuan, his eyes filled with a burning intensity!

"Can you keep a secret?"

"Of course, but why would you tell ?"

"Do a favor, I’ll do you one."

Lin Yuan did not provide any elaborate explanation, just a simple sentence.

He had thought deeply about it, and only revealing this news to the chairman would benefit him more than harm him.

"..."

Quid pro quo?

Li Songhua, for a mont, did not know how to react.

He only felt an instinctive tremble in his soul!

Xian Yu is Chu Kuang!!!

This news hit him like a thunderbolt, completely dumbfounding the worldly Li Songhua!

After the dumbfounding.

Li Songhua was ecstatic, excitent swept through every cell of his body!

The Lin Yuan before him, seed to be not just a person, but a shining gold mine!

To win over Xian Yu, he had given up ten percent of the company’s shares!

Regardless of how bold he was, Li Songhua inevitably felt so pain!

But at this mont!

Li Songhua had no regrets at all!

A freak circumstance, ten percent of the shares, what he, Li Songhua had gained for Starlight Entertainnt was not just Xian Yu, but also Chu Kuang!

Xian Yu in the south, Chu Kuang in the north...

The two talents that Zhong Continent feared the most were actually the sa person, and now, they belonged to Starlight!

If this news were to leak out, it would probably set the whole of Blue Star abuzz!

At this mont.

Yet today, Li Songhua had to bear this excitent alone, no wonder he was so out of sorts!

Whether Lin Yuan was Xian Yu or Chu Kuang, Li Songhua’s regard for him was unprecedented!

Now that the talents of these two fields were actually the sa person, Li Songhua’s opinion of Lin Yuan was far more than just simple regard!

Yes.

At this mont, Lin Yuan’s importance in Li Songhua’s heart had surpassed everything else!

In the future, Starlight could lose anyone!

But Lin Yuan, he had to cling to tightly!

Joy!

Fear!

These two completely different emotions erged from the bottom of Li Songhua’s heart.

He was delighted that his desperate gamble won Xian Yu’s heart!

He was also afraid because...

If it hadn’t been for this gamble, Starlight might not have captured Xian Yu’s heart!

Neither would they have let Xian Yu admit to his suppressed terrifying identity!

Li Songhua was not in doubt.

There was no need to doubt such a thing either.

An easily debunked lie was aningless, Xian Yu had no reason to lie about this.

Perhaps, his unreachable dream now has a chance to co true.

Xian Yu plus Chu Kuang, in so sense, resemble an unbeatable humanoid nuclear bomb!

"It was only upon tasting the second cup that I realized this tea tastes pretty good."

Lin Yuan did not observe Li Songhua’s reaction, instead he picked up the second cup of tea and started drinking. He then made a remark. Read exclusive adventures at .Côm

After finishing the tea.

Lin Yuan saw Li Songhua digging out a bunch of different tea leaves from various boxes and piling them on the office desk:

"It’s all yours!"

"Is this okay?"

"No worries, the company has preferential treatnts for talents, besides, I’m not interested in tea leaves!"

"..."

A few minutes later, Lin Yuan carried a bunch of tea leaves back to his own office.

On the side.

Several executives who were looking for Li Songhua saw Lin Yuan co out of the chairman’s office carrying a bunch of tea leaves. They nodded to each other in acknowledgnt as they passed by.

Once Lin Yuan was gone, the executives’ gazes beca curious.

"That’s Xian Yu, right?"

"Why did he take so many tea leaves?"

"Was the chairman robbed?"

"Doesn’t the chairman treasure tea more than life itself?"

"It seems even the chairman’s treasured collection was taken by him?"

"Did he steal it?"

"Isn’t the chairman in the office?"

"If he was, wouldn’t the chairman have a heart attack?"

"..."

Several executives were freeze-frad as they walked into Li Songhua’s office.

Only to see Li Songhua in his office doing the moonwalk...

Did he go crazy?

Because all his tea had been robbed by Xian Yu?

"Chairman?"

An executive hesitantly spoke up.

Li Songhua paused, cleared his throat and said mysteriously "Forget everything you just saw."

"Alright..."

Several executives swallowed at the sa ti "Just now Xian Yu..."

"Oh, he likes drinking tea, so I gave him the tea leaves, Ol’ Wang."

"Huh."

An executive replied.

Li Songhua continued: "I rember you have a limited edition tea that you have been hoarding. Send it to Xian Yu later."

Ol’ Wang: ???

The chairman really is crazy!
