The void shook as large swaths of shadowy matters appeared behind the Lord of the Ancient Nether. They writhed and contorted until they rged into a single large shadow. The shadow levitated in the air, holding a mysterious to in its hands. Its appearance looked sowhat similar to Ye Xuan's Lord of Darkness.
But then of course, in terms of mysteriousness and the sense of regality, Ye Xuan's Obscurus was much nobler than the Lord of the Ancient Nether's beast. This ant that the Lord of Darkness's potential was also much higher.

While the Lord of the Ancient Nether was summoning his beast, the Divine Feather Emperor leapt from the roof of her carriage and flew into the sky.
Her beast, the Wings of Judgent, blinked from its location and reappeared behind her.
Then, the Wings of Judgent rged with her original set of white wings.
The accentuation of her wings made her look like a divine angel of judgent.
She pointed forward. Imnse energy from the Might of Light gathered from her body and travel down to her fingertip. Then, the Might of Light took on the shape of a mighty sword and thrust forward.
The sword headed straight for the Lord of the Ancient Nether as if a divine judgent was smiting away the evil.
The power from the Divine Feather Emperor's attack was so terrifying that a vacuum ford in the space between her and the Lord of the Ancient Nether.
At the lord's side, Ming Yu's expression changed as he felt the terrifying force of this attack. He imdiately ducked out of the way.
He was extrely agitated that Ye Xuan had disappeared, but there was nothing he could do.
With Ye Xuan gone, if the Lord of the Ancient Nether lost to the Divine Feather Emperor, then death would be awaiting him too.
"Screech!"
While Ming Yu considered the situation, the Ancient Phoenix pulling on the Divine Feather Emperor's cart let out a loud screech. It then engulfed itself in flas and lunged towards Ming Yu.
Both of the Divine Feather Emperor's handmaids had summoned their beasts to attack Ming Yu.
Ming Yu felt the situation turn rapidly against him. He was feeling pressure from all sides.
During the combat between the Divine Feather Emperor and the Lord of the Ancient Nether, the entire space around them was divided into zones of black and white. The Divine Feather Emperor's side was mostly white, the Lord of the Ancient Nether black.
In the areas they battled, the two colors clashed and produced ripples that disturbed the natural energy of that area.
With such great disturbance from their battle, even Ming Yu could not open up a space tunnel. His speed and mobility were drastically decreased. Escape was not an option. He could only summon his beast to retaliate against the Divine Feather Emperor's handmaids.
However, he had to deal with both of them at once and the ancient phoenix as well. He quickly fell into a disadvantage.
In just a short matter of ti, things were looking dire for Ming Yu.
On the other side, things were not looking so good for the Lord of the Ancient Nether either.
His cultivation was only mid emperor-level compared to the Divine Feather Emperor's high emperor-level.
It probably would not take the emperor long before she reaches the peak emperor-level.
If it was not for the Divine Sovereign Starbright dominance over the Tianyuan Star Zone, it would not have been possible for the Lord of the Ancient Nether to govern a whole galaxy with his power level.

"Tian Yu!" the Lord of the Ancient Nether yelled out the Divine Feather Emperor's na. "If you kill today, the others would definitely target you for it. Our two empires share a common border. Why not coalesce our strength and forge an alliance to defeat common foes?"
"An alliance?" the Divine Feather Emperor smirked. She was not intrigued by the proposal.
Of the thirteen emperor-level forces in the Tianyuan Star Zone, the Lord of the Ancient Nether's power ranked among the last.
Even if she was to forge an alliance, she would not choose the Lord of the Ancient Nether.
And as for the possibility of others turning on her after she takes out the Lord of the Ancient Nether, she already had a solution for the scenario.
Currently, she was really close to evolving to peak emperor-level.

She blinked in front of the injured Lord of the Ancient Nether and raised her hand for a second strike.
In her palm, the potent energy from the Might of Light swirled. The blow was going to be the divine judgent ending the Lord of the Ancient Nether's life.
"It's all over," Ming Yu whispered.
Faraway, sensing the weakness of the Lord of the Ancient Nether, the equally injured Ming Yu let out a sigh and let his heart sank.

Just as the Divine Feather Emperor's palm was about to land on the injured Lord of the Ancient Nether and end his life, the space around her shook as six identical disk-like creatures appeared.
The six creatures had a strange pattern on them that unleashed a terrifying aura.. They bent the linear space and created a huge void vortex that enveloped the Divine Feather Emperor and the Lord of the Ancient Nether.
