"Scion of Zegaro!" The plain looking young man cried out in shock. "Why are you attacking us?"
"Scion of Zegaro??" Alexander was stunned. His killing intent wavered then disappeared without a trace.
"So it has co to this huh? That even our fellow Scions are fighting so viciously for the sake of being Dragon Death Knights…" The plain looking man's face grew cold.
"So you finally co to your senses…" Alexander said, imdiately playing the part of a Scion of Zegaro.
"You sure know how to talk big, considering that you're stuck in Scion Emma's unbreakable Dark Spatial Prison." The plain looking young man scoffed.
Alexander rely smiled at him.
"If that is how you're doing things, then don't bla for being rciless. I am sure you know what we do with prisoners of your caliber. In fact, I've never had a Scion as an underling before…" The plain looking young man's voice slowly turned from a normal human being's into an emotionless, raspy voice that was definitely not human.
Alexander stared at him in astonishnt as his skin and flesh slowly peeled away, revealing a golden skeleton underneath.
"Gold grade Lich Emperor. To think that there would be one here in Arcanus." Flawing said seriously. "Do not underestimate him, he is extrely-"
"Weak." Alexander finished for Flawing. "I can take him on easily." He stretched out his hands and summoned two golden spheres. One around Dubaza and Vernie, the other one around him.
Flawing remained silent. She did not want to go into an argunt with Alexander over such a petty issue in such a critical ti.
"I intend to capture him and interrogate him." Alexander told Flawing.
"Go." Flawing said softly.
Golden tendrils of power shot out from Alexander's body and wrapped themselves around the black bars of dark space energy. And just like hot knife slicing through butter, the dark space energy prison splintered into pieces.
WHOOSH! BAM!!!
A powerful fist smashed onto Alexander's golden barrier. Alexander's golden shield rippled slightly. It had to be known that Alexander's golden shield was able to withstand a Battlecruiser's main cannon firing at 80% power. For it to ripple at that mont simply ant that the attacker's power had reached at least 50% of a battlecruiser's main cannon.
It was an insane concept. A single physical punch as strong as a battlecruiser's main cannon??
Incredible.
But Alexander wasn't perturbed in the slightest. Defenses can save lives, but it cannot win battles. And Alexander was a man who prided himself on his capacity to win battles, and win them overwhelmingly. His forte did not lie in defense.
And if the enemy's attacks could only cause his defenses to ripple, then well. He wasn't that much of an enemy. An irritation, perhaps. But not strong enough to qualify as an enemy.
BAM! BAM! BAM!! BAMM!!!
As though answering Alexander's cynical thoughts about him, a flurry of punches much stronger than the previous one ca flying in, hitting the golden barrier so hard and so fast that it shattered.
CRACK!!!
Alexander's golden barrier was gone.
BAM! BAM!
A quick double jab imdiately followed, trying to take advantage of the mont before Alexander could put up his barriers again to deal so damage.
However, instead of dealing damage, he took damage instead.
"GYAHH!!!" The Undead Monster scread out in its unearthly voice. He stared at his arms in astonishnt. They now ended in stumps. His fists were nowhere to be found.
WHOOSH!
A golden stream of light shined out brightly and neatly bisected the Undead Monster on its waist.
"Stop playing with your toys." Alexander said to the Golden Lich Emperor softly with a dangerous glint in his eyes.
BOOM! A powerful shockwave exploded outwards from Alexander as he unleashed his full Scion Lord aura. He waited for a trace of recognition to run through the Golden Lich King's or Lady Emma's faces, but none ca.
"That's good." Flawing voiced Alexander's thoughts perfectly. "They have no idea that you're a Scion Lord."
"Very good. If you had died from such a weak undead, you'd be a terrible disappointnt." rasped the Golden Lich Emperor.
"Weak?" Alexander scoffed with a smile. "That undead ca from the corpse of your team mate. You an to tell that you have a more powerful corpse with you?"
The Golden Lich Emperor smiled siniterly."Right now? No. But that could be fixed easily." He pointed at Emma who was still staring at Alexander with great fear and wariness. She had no idea what hit her.
WHOOSH!
Dark rays of light pierced her head, neck and heart, killing her instantly. And within seconds, her corpse turned into a golden banshee.
SIIIIRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!! She wailed.
Alexander frowned. This banshee was vastly more powerful than all the previous banshees combined. It was much, much more powerful than the Banshee King which had sailed out of the Orc Army a few days ago.
SIRIII!!!!! She turned towards Alexander and rushed at him with both clawed-hands outstretched.
Alexander gave a quick slash and produced a crescent-shaped golden sword light which smashed into her with a satisfying BOOM!
Alexander's frown grew deeper. His slash had injured her, pretty badly in fact, but Alexander had put almost 50% of his Scion Lord Space Power into that attack. He had expected to fully destroy the banshee, not rely injuring her heavily.
However, the Golden Lich Emperor's shock was much greater than Alexander's. It was really hard to make Lich Kings feel anything, much less Golden Lich Emperor. And so to make a Golden Lich Emperor so shock as Alexander just did was definitely a great achievent.
The Golden Lich Emperor frowned deeply. His main power was resurrection and enhancent. He could resurrect anything as long as they were not Gods and enhance their powers mightily. That was why even a re White Robe such as the team mate of his which had died to Dubaza's poisons was able to hit so hard and destroy Alexander's golden barrier. That enhancing power of his also made the Scion of Perses Emma beco incredibly powerful. She was probably the most powerful banshee in the entire universe then.
No other Scions had ever been treated the way Emma was, especially not powerful schers such as Scions of Perses.
But apart from resurrection and enhancent, he had nothing of note that could threaten Alexander. Of course he had power over the Elents as well, all Scions do. He was not as powerful as Scions of Magius in terms of his magic, but he could give the average white robe a run for their money.
But the power of an average white robe had no place in such a high level battle such as this. He had no choice but to find an opportunity to run.
SIRIIII!!! Banshee Emma wailed and rushed forward at Alexander again. Powerful sonic attacks led the way and hit the barrier-less Alexander.
However, Alexander's eyes glowed slightly gold and he disappeared.
He appeared behind the Golden Lich Emperor and tried to cast a golden space prison around him. But the Golden Lich Emperor had expected him to do that.
Alexander's cage materialized quickly, but the Golden Lich Emperor blinked away re tenths of a second before the prison locked down the space in it.
SIRIIII!!! Banshee Emma turned around and blasted a powerful sonic attack which flew towards Alexander at the speed of sound.
BAM!
This ti, Alexander put up his barrier and resisted Banshee Emma's attack.
BAM! BAM! BAM!
Banshee Emma appeared in front of Alexander all of a sudden and began to launch powerful attacks on Alexander's golden barrier.
BAM! BAM! BAM!
Tens of attacks smashed into the golden barrier within the span of a second and CRACK!!
The barrier broke into pieces.
SIRIII!!!!! Shrieked Banshee Emma in triumph. She sent another flurry of attacks at Alexander but she hit… nothing.
Alexander was gone.
BOOM!!! An explosion sounded from sowhere behind her.
Banshee Emma turned around and saw the Golden Lich Emperor's head flying at high speed away from Alexander who had his fist stretched out above the Golden Lich Emperor's headless body.
SIRIII!!!! Banshee Emma rushed out towards Alexander.
However, before she could go very far...
CRACK! BO-BOOOMMM!!!
Two streaks of fat lightning bolts hit Banshee Emma with devastating power.
From beneath her, wooden tendrils of all shapes and sizes shot out from everywhere. The thin ones grabbed on her hands, feet, neck and body, squeezing them tightly. The large ones ford layers of prison around her.
SIRIII!!!! Banshee Emma shrieked angrily. The lightning bolts had charred her heavily wounded body, and she was on the brink of destruction. She exerted all her remaining power, sohow succeeding in ripping apart the tendrils that had her in a death grip.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
Banshee Emma slashed at the wooden prison with great violence and anger, as if giving vent to the great injustice that had befallen her. To die at a very young age at the hands of a fellow Scion before she could enjoy the pleasures of life, and then dying once more at the hands of yet another fellow Scion. Oh woe! The injustice of it all!
Her attacks grew faster, quickly turning the strong and mighty wooden bars into shreds.
But unfortunately for her, more ca from below. She was, afterall, above an entire forest of trees.
