Better safe than sorry.
Ling Han was confident, but definitely not conceited. If he still had overwhelming confidence in such a dangerous place, that would only be courting death.
He entered into the cave, and searched for the Celestial dicine.
-The Celestial dicine's dicinal fragrance, he could sll it from miles away, so with the sharp nose of a fierce beast, how could a fierce beast not sll it?
Thus, Ling Han would rather believe that there was sothing fishy going on than believe that this was really a coincidence. It just so happened that when he passed by, the Celestial dicine had ripened.
He walked slowly, and not long after, he arrived at the depths of the cave. Though this was not the end, it was pitch-black, and the dicinal fragrance was incredibly strong.
Ling Han activated his eye technique. The darkness naturally couldn't stop him. He could clearly see that there was a plant that was half the height of a human that was growing healthily, and there was a green flower blooming at the top. It was precisely this that was exuding refreshing fragrance.
Dragon Grass!
Ling Han thought internally. It was said that the Dragon Grass had transford from an ordinary Spiritual Herb into a Celestial dicine because it had been contaminated with the saliva of the Immortal Dragon so it was extrely effective in healing injuries, but that should have been fabricated.
He looked again, and a smile appeared at the corners of his lips.
Beside the Dragon Grass, there were multiple beast bones. Upon counting, there were at least
a few dozen, as if they were worshipping that Celestial dicine.
As expected, Ling Han confird internally. He released his divine sense, and searched carefully.
Found it.
Ling Han looked towards a corner and activated his eye technique. He imdiately saw sothing different.
A... er, sothing that looked like mud was presently adhering to the rock. It was a very thin layer, and covered an extrely large area. However, Ling Han saw it with his eye technique, and discovered that this was not mud, but rather a fierce beast.
This guy used the Celestial dicine to lure other fierce beasts into this space, and then took advantage of the opening to attack and devour its prey.
The white bones on the ground were clear proof of this.
A smile tugged at the corners of Ling Han's lips. It had always been this ferocious beast hiding in the shadows, waiting for an opportunity to sneak attack, but now, it was the other way round. He was the hunter that was hiding in the shadows.
He snuck over quietly, very, very slowly.
When they were extrely close, this fierce beast seed to have sensed sothing, and instantly reacted.
It "floated". At first, it was like a film, but now, it had turned into a long ball. It had short legs, and there were quite a number of them. It looked like an insect.
This insect didn't have eyes, nor did it have a nose, mouth, or ears. However, its head was turning around, as if it wanted to find Ling Han.
Its senses were very sensitive.
Ling Han had already seen through to its strength, and did not hide any further. Instead, he directly uncovered the hide of the Void Beast, and began his attack.
Peng, his fist landed on the body of that fierce beast, but the strange thing was that it was actually empty without any place to exert force, and that fierce beast had turned into soft clay that actually wrapped around his fist, and then spread out towards his arm.
Ling Han imdiately felt a burning sensation on his hand. That was the ferocious beast
tearing open his skin, wanting to suck out his blood and flesh.
Hiss, this fierce beast was really cruel. It did not kill its prey first before slowly feeding on it, but rather directly devoured its prey's flesh and blood alive.
But it should be known just how agonizing this was for his prey.
Ling Han smirked coldly. He activated Destructive Energy. Boom! Like flas, it imdiately combusted on his hand.
Instantly, that fierce beast released a terrible cry. It did not have a mouth, and this was a cry on the level of divine sense.
Originally, Ling Han's opponents would try as much as possible to avoid being touched by Destructive Energy. That would be too terrifying, but this ferocious beast chose to approach him on its own volition, and was so determined to seek death. Who could it bla?
The ferocious beast hurriedly retreated. It had now returned to its soft mud-like form, but there was a piece missing from its middle. Furthermore, it was still expanding. That was the Destructive Energy spreading out.
Ling Han smiled faintly, "You've brought this upon yourself, so how can you live?"
The beast was scared, and hurriedly fled.
Ling Han caught up to it, and shot out several punches in quick succession. The Destructive Energy boiled, and in a few moves, this fierce beast was blasted into smithereens.
Unfortunately, though this fierce beast was very strange, it did not have a Demon Core.
Ling Han shook his head, and went to pluck the flower of that Dragon Grass.
This was the part that could be used in dicine, but the body and roots would not have any effect.
Ling Han walked deeper into the cave. He was going to search carefully.
That was because though the legend of the Dragon Grass was false, and this was not produced from the saliva of the Immortal Dragon, a Celestial dicine would not grow for no reason
either.
Since the Dragon Grass had grown here, there must be a reason for it.
A blessed land, or a land of peril, could nurture a Celestial dicine, and that was always the
case.
When he arrived at the end of the cave, Ling Han's eyes lit up. He saw a groove on a rock, which was filled with milky white liquid. When he raised his head again, he saw that there was
a stone pillar hanging down, which just happened to point at the groove.
Dripping water penetrates stone.
At present, the stone had not been penetrated, and only a groove had ford, which had also preserved the "water" that was dripping.
This was... Earth Spirit Milk.
An extrely nutritious item!
Ling Han couldn't help but laugh loudly. As expected, a place that could nurture Celestial dicines definitely corresponded to a paradise or a desolate land. He was lucky; this was a
paradise.
Earth Spirit Milk was nurtured by heaven and earth, and could nourish one's physical body and divine sense. It was the highest grade substance to be used at the point of breaking through. Though Ling Han had bought a great many Treasured Fruits of Life through the Galaxy Network, after advancing into the Cauldron Forging Tier, the corresponding Treasured Fruits of Life were not only more than ten tis more expensive, but also incredibly rare in number. There was really no lack of buyers but no one willing to sell.
Thus, this Earth Spirit Milk was truly a pleasant surprise. It was also a tily help.
That was because Ling Han was just a sliver away from breaking through, and just happened
to be in need of this kind of nutritious tonic.
He carefully put away the Earth Spirit Milk. All of a sudden, he was overwheld with emotion. Previously, he had seen the great battle between the wild bulls and the flying lions, and he had also participated in such a soul-stirring hunt, so he was naturally moved.
All of a sudden, he discovered an opportunity to break through.
This was very sudden, but also very natural. With his natural talent, it was not difficult for him
to break through in the first place. The hunting in the last few days, and the final flight for life, had all touched him greatly, so he naturally took this step.
Ling Han didn't hesitate. He imdiately sat down in a cross-legged position and began to
break through.
This opportunity ca easily, but once he missed it, it was possible that he would need who knew how long to be able to grasp it again.
Boom, tumultuous waves instantly rose up in his body.
Four Cauldrons, breaking through the limit, the commotion would naturally not be small.
He ingested a few drops of Earth Spirit Milk to nourish himself. Then, he used his own essence to construct the fourth Celestial Cauldron.
Unlike the Foundation Building Tier, the other three Celestial Cauldrons did not obstruct him. Thus, the fourth Celestial Cauldron naturally ford into an embryonic form, and then slowly grew stronger. The body of the cauldron was rapidly forming.
Very quickly, he felt his body dry up, and hurriedly drank a few more drops.
A day later, the fourth Celestial Cauldron was more or less ford, but it was a cauldron with
no legs.
This was the end of his breakthrough.
Ling Han smiled. He was now at Four Cauldrons, and his battle prowess had increased several
tis over.
If he were to battle that lion beast again now, he wouldn't need to use the Demonic Monkey Fists at all. With the Great Overarching Heaven Technique, he would be able to kill it. He put on the connection device again to check on his teammates.
