He invaded her space without restraint, pinning her hands above her head as his breathing grew heavier.

Qiao Chuchu pushed against him with all her might, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t break free!

Huai Ling seed intoxicated, even letting out an involuntary moan from deep in his throat: “Mmm…”

As Qiao Chuchu shoved at his shoulders, he simply lifted her up, tilting his head to kiss her.

His eyes were closed, his breathing ragged, as if it still wasn’t enough. He pushed her down against the wall, kissing her fiercely.

Dust swept past the support columns on either side, and the howling wind couldn’t drown out his soft moans.

His hands gripped Qiao Chuchu’s wrists tightly, his leg pressing between hers, leaving her no room to resist.

When he finally pulled away, panting heavily, he licked his lips, still craving more.

Qiao Chuchu’s lips were numb, and she stared at him in a daze.

He placed her hand on his abs, blushing as he gestured: “Let’s take the next step, sis.”

His eyes were half-lidded, pleading with her: “It’s fine if you don’t like . I don’t mind. I want to be with you, and I believe I can make you feel good.”

Qiao Chuchu snapped out of her trance, grabbed a handful of sand from the ground, and threw it in his face!

Huai Ling closed his eyes, dodging most of it.

She stood up angrily, wiping her mouth furiously. All the curses she wanted to hurl swirled in her throat, but in the end, all she managed was: “I was just about to thank you for saving !!”

Huai Ling cald down, kneeling on the ground and looking up at her.

Half of his face was sared with blood, while the other half remained clean. His bloodstained suit made him look like a disheveled, dangerous man.

Qiao Chuchu glared at him: “Did you kiss because you like , or were you just caught up in the mont and needed to vent?!”

Huai Ling blinked, not responding.

Qiao Chuchu grew even more furious, her hands gesturing sharply: “Answer !”

Huai Ling continued to look up at her, still silent.

Qiao Chuchu crouched down, gesturing again: “Answer !”

Weisheng Huailing watched her signing hands and suddenly chuckled, laughing softly.

Qiao Chuchu: “? What are you laughing at?”

Huai Ling stifled his laughter and leaned closer to her.

She instinctively leaned back, losing her balance and falling onto the ground.

He took the opportunity to kneel upright, looming over her: “I do like you. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have kissed you.”

Qiao Chuchu: “Huh?”

[He likes ? What does he like about ? When did he start liking ?!]

He leaned down, smiling: “Do you rember the last ti I fought with my fourth brother?”

She nodded cautiously.

Huai Ling gestured gently: “I fought him because I didn’t like him being with you.”

Qiao Chuchu: “?”

Huai Ling gazed at her tenderly: “At first, I just thought you were interesting. But then I realized you’re genuine, and you truly care about . And since you like too, I’ve grown to like you more and more.”

Qiao Chuchu: “?? When did I ever say I like you?”

Huai Ling smiled without answering.

[She’s always complinting how handso I am in her thoughts. Isn’t that liking ?]

Qiao Chuchu couldn’t accept it and stood up, gesturing: “Even if you like , you need to understand that you can’t kiss soone without their consent. Kissing like that was a violation!”

Weisheng Huailing froze, then quickly knelt properly: “Then I was wrong. Please don’t be angry, sis.”

Qiao Chuchu helped him up: “Get up and talk properly!”

Huai Ling shook his head, gesturing earnestly: “Your lips are sweet, soft, and yet firm, like gummy candy. I couldn’t pull away because it was my first kiss, and I wanted to savor it.”

Qiao Chuchu’s face turned bright red, and she gestured angrily: “Stop talking! You’ve already crossed the line! I don’t want to talk to you anymore!”

She turned and walked away.

[I thought I’d made a friend I could trust with my life. What a disappointnt.]

Huai Ling’s expression changed drastically. He wrapped his arms around her legs, shaking his head in panic.

If he held her, he couldn’t speak.

If he spoke, he couldn’t hold her.

After a mont of hesitation, he clung to her tightly.

Qiao Chuchu’s face darkened: “Don’t do this. I don’t want to talk to you right now. As for the thank-you gift for saving , I’ll have my brother deliver it to your house.”

Huai Ling hugged her thighs tightly, shaking his head repeatedly!

No thank-you gift!

No thank-you gift!!

His breathing grew more erratic: “I was wrong, sis. Please don’t be angry. I really know I was wrong!”

Qiao Chuchu’s heart was as hard as steel: “Huai Ling, I pushed you several tis, but you wouldn’t let go. It was like your lips were welded to mine!”

After a mont of thought, she decided to reject him outright: “If we keep going like this, it won’t do either of us any good. I don’t have romantic feelings for you, so let’s just end things here. I’m not the type to string people along. Let’s part on good terms, and you can find soone else who truly cares for you.”

Huai Ling blinked hard, afraid he’d misread her lips, and asked again: “You’re cutting things off with ?! What about my sister? What about my brother?!”

Qiao Chuchu: “…”

Huai Ling grew desperate: “Just ?! You’re only cutting things off with ?!”

He let out a whimper and hugged her legs again, shaking his head.

“Sis, I was wrong. I really know I was wrong. I won’t like you anymore.”

He clasped his hands together in front of his face, pleading: “I won’t cross the line again. Please don’t leave. I was wrong. I really know I was wrong!”

Qiao Chuchu turned her head away, her fists clenched tightly at her sides, refusing to look at him.

Huai Ling stood up and moved in front of her, gesturing pitifully: “I was really wrong. Give another chance!”

She shook her head, still avoiding his gaze.

Huai Ling cupped her face, gesturing anxiously: “Don’t look away. I can’t speak; I can only use sign language. If you don’t look at , how can I explain myself?”

“Sis, please forgive . I promise this was the first and last ti!”

Huai Ling’s eyes turned red, and his body began to tremble.

His limbs went numb, and a wave of fear spread through his body. He hunched over, as if trying to suppress nausea.

Qiao Chuchu’s expression changed: “Are you feeling this way because you hit your head? Are you dizzy? Nauseous?”

Huai Ling’s vision was unfocused, but he still managed to look at her, his lips trembling.

Tears stread down his face as he convulsed slightly, raising a shaky hand: “Don’t leave , sis.”

He was soone who cried easily.

But this ti, the tears were real.

Qiao Chuchu didn’t have ti to stay angry. She assessed his symptoms: “Are you feeling dizzy and numb in your limbs?”

Huai Ling blinked.

Qiao Chuchu understood.

[It must be respiratory alkalosis.]

[How can a big shot like him get respiratory alkalosis from emotional distress?!]

She looked around and spotted a dirty plastic bag that had blown in from sowhere. She quickly ran over, took off her hoodie, used it to clean the bag, and placed it over Huai Ling’s head, letting him breathe into it.

It wasn’t as good as a paper bag, but it would help ease his symptoms.

Huai Ling refused to wear it, pushing the bag aside and pleading: “Don’t leave , okay? Don’t leave !”

Qiao Chuchu nodded repeatedly, concerned: “I’m not going anywhere. I’m not leaving. Stop crying and calm your breathing!”

Huai Ling hesitated: “Really?”

Qiao Chuchu nodded: “Really. As long as you don’t do this again, I’ll act like nothing happened.”

His nose tingled, and he leaned down to hug her!

Qiao Chuchu quickly placed the plastic bag over his head.

[This guy’s physical resilience is really sothing…]

Huai Ling rested his head on her shoulder, dizziness and numbness spreading through his body.

Terrified, he nuzzled into her neck, slowly calming his breathing and letting out a series of muffled sounds.

“Mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm.”

It sounded like he was trying to speak, but the tone was monotonous, making it impossible to decipher what he was saying.

Qiao Chuchu: “? What? Are you trying to talk?”

Huai Ling, still shaken, held her tightly and closed his eyes.

He really, really liked his sis.
