Clang! Clang!

The sounds of battle erupted quickly!

Wave after wave of Zombies charged, their incessant moaning filling the air.

The skeletal bown rattled as they fired arrows, and the steady thunder of steel rained down.

Flash of blades and shadow of swords!

Piāo Teacher and Ma Teacher hacked and slashed, pushing back wave after wave of Zombies.

Not bad!

While at the Cologne Gascom, Dream and George were bravely holding off the Zombies and defending the shoebox!

Far away in Huaguo, bdd and Old Ma were defending their little base too!

However, compared to Dream and his partner, Piāo Teacher and Ma Teacher’s base felt much more casual.

Or rather, more utilitarian.

They had spawned beside a mountain. Because the terrain was relatively flat, the two of them found each other quickly.

After a bit of simple exploration, they discovered that the mountain where they had spawned was hollow.

From a cave entrance about five or six blocks high, the inside opened into a vast, pitch-black hollow mountain interior.

So the two of them agreed on the spot: they’d be the mountain kings, making the cave their base and living like caven on the peak.

Make the mountain feed you.

With little effort, the pair established their base at the cave entrance.

Workbench, furnace, even a few chests.

Bright torches flanked the cave mouth, lighting the entrance.

The two players initially collected two sets of stone and two sets of wood planks, then dug up so dirt, and night ca quickly.

Then!

They ran into the exact sa situation Dream and his partner faced—

A zombie siege.

Luckily they were prepared. They filled the cave entrance with dirt, leaving only a one-block-high doorway for entering and exiting.

The key point was this!

Both Piāo Teacher and Ma Teacher were experienced gars with quick wits!

After about two rounds of blocking the doorway, they stumbled upon a very useful trick—

First, in the motion-sensing pod version of My World, Golden Wind had added many extra motions to accommodate motion controls—sitting on the ground, crawling on the belly, and so on.

But Zombies, whose height was the sa as players—two blocks high—did not have so many motion animations; they could only walk and jump.

So then!

Pfft!

Piāo Teacher casually pulled a dirt block from his inventory and sealed the already two-block-high doorway up by one block.

The Zombies’ heads were blocked and they couldn’t get through anymore.

Piāo Teacher and Ma Teacher then lay flat on the ground and wildly hacked at the Zombies’ little legs as they flailed!

Pfft! Pfft!

Crack!

Clang! Clang! …

As each Zombie fell, Experience Orbs scattered everywhere, and the two of them let out sly, triumphant laughs—

“Hehehe—”

“Yo, boss is so cheeky, I just sealed it with dirt so they can’t see. Heh—”

“Bro, this is pure XP farming, feels amazing...”

“Zombies are so annoying, hehe...”

The audience in the livestream chat was numb with amusent!

“These two are so damned cheap, openly exploiting ga chanics to farm XP, I’m reporting them!”

“Suggest Old Thief add a crawling animation to the Zombies next patch.”

“God, this foot-attack tactic is so rotten.”

“Can’t soone punish those two?”

“No way, nobody can get in. Even those fast little Zombies can’t get through, they’re too brittle.”

“Ah— I can’t take it, seeing them enjoy it hurts more than being killed myself.”

Wait… aren’t those two invincible?!

......

Watching the barrage of comnts, the two sly players only grinned wider!

“What cheating? This is called intelligence, understand?” Ma Teacher said with mock solemnity.

“Hey, how can this be called trickery—this is a ga chanic.”

“Exactly,” Piāo Teacher chid in, paying sarcastic homage to the classics:

“It’s reasonable that Zombies can’t bend over—where’s the cheating!”

“Don’t you guys talk nonsense with your eyes open! It’s hard to farm XP as block people, okay!”

“Maybe bla yourselves—have you been playing the ga properly all these years? Have you been building up your ga experience, right?”

“And also—oh man I’m going crazy—hahahahahaha!”

As the Experience Orbs piled higher outside, the pair of smug, pigskin bullies grew even more elated!

Invincible!

Although they still didn’t know exactly what experience did in this ga, they believed the old adage: I might be able to live without it, but I can’t afford to be without more.

The more they could farm, the better.

However!

Outside, as the sky gradually brightened and the two were about to end their violent XP-farming night and reopen the doorway to greet the sun—

Ka-ka-ka—

Suddenly.

Outside the one-block-high attack window, a bizarre set of legs appeared.

Because they had been attacking legs with their foot-solo tactic for a while, they had seen many kinds of legs co and go.

Deep-blue tattered pants ant a Zombie.

Bone without flesh ant skeletal bown.

The little Zombies and spiders were only one block high and easy to recognize.

But this set of legs was sothing they had never seen before.

The creature’s lower body was completely columnar, jade-green all over with multicolored spots.

Beneath the pillar-like body were four square, blocky hooves.

Most importantly, when the thing approached their faces, it seed to trigger a special action.

The entire creature began to flash and emitted a “mouth—” sound.

It sounded like… a fuse being lit on explosives.

Piāo Teacher seed to sense sothing wrong and was about to say, “Hey, what is—”

Before the “what” even left his mouth!

Boom!!!

……

“Cousin—!”

A heart-wrenching cry rang out in the cave.

Ayin wailed his cousin’s na while quickly placing blocks under his feet and hopping over to the crater that the Creeper had blown open to grab the dropped gear:

“Waaah, cousin, you died so miserably... shh this leather armor is aweso.”

“Cousin, how did you die… wow, cousin even had a bow.”

“Such a brave guy gone like that… hey, you even had an iron sword, dammit! Where’d that iron we mined go!”

Ayin picked up the loot while gaping and pretending to cry.

On voice chat, Cousin’s angry voice exploded to the heavens!

“You little—put that down! That’s mine! Cinema—what the hell, is that thing a neutral mob? Mods lock the account of whoever made that comnt! Damn!!!”

The livestream chat nearly exploded with laughter—

“Hahaha I tried to prank the boss and Cousin fell into the trap!”

“Exactly like that ti in APEX when you looted your teammate’s box.”

“You mad?!”

“Hahaha teammates get grabbed, laughing while looting.”

“So shady…”

“You said we should’ve co to play My World earlier, wouldn’t be so pissed off then!”

“Indeed, that Gollum is just… hard to describe.”

“Ah! Great stream, don’t ntion such bad luck.”

“No corpse dumping allowed here.”

“Hahaha ridiculous…”

……

That’s right!

After getting walloped by the quality of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum,

Liu Liu and Zhuangzhuang siblings imdiately fled to FoxForce’s booth to try this year’s well-received Wolf-type ga The Ghost Castle of Pinocchio.

As for Ayin and Cousin, who had also fled the CloudPower booth at lightning speed, they shot like rockets to Golden Wind’s booth, flashed their dia experience passes, and couldn’t wait to cleanse their eyes.

Queue up! Get on the rig! Start the ga!

So satisfying.

Although My World’s graphics aren’t as high, its models not as detailed, and it doesn’t even have engine support—completely handcrafted by the Golden Experience Studio!

But!

In terms of gaplay and playability, it was not comparable to CloudPower’s supposedly high-budget 3S-level next-gen motion-sensing epic The Lord of the Rings: Gollum.

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say:

Comparing My World to Gollum was a huge insult to My World.

So.

During Ayin and Cousin’s entire play session, they agreed not to ntion Gollum at all.

Not even a single insult.

No need.

After all, no one swears at a piece of feces just because they stepped in it.

Better to dive wholeheartedly into the current ga.

At this mont, as the two of them delved deeper into the cave, they had discovered flowing magma!

Across the steam-wreathed magma pool!

A translucent, pale aqua mineral glowed faintly with crystalline light.

It was a mineral they had never seen before!

Soon!

As Cousin hurried back from spawn, the two re-equipped.

“Looks like a gem; do you have an iron pickaxe?”

Cousin shouldered so grass blocks and asked Ayin.

“Right here.”

Ayin pulled the iron pickaxe tucked into his crotch.

This thing could be called a proper tool.

So far, they hadn’t encountered any ore that an iron pickaxe couldn’t mine.

“Let’s go!”

Cousin nodded and waved his hand, starting to lay a path across the magma pool.

The bubbling magma lit the cave as bright as dayti.

Steam wrapped around them like a scorching mist, even producing a slight searing sting.

Pop!

Sparks occasionally burst from the magma, hissing.

One narrow block after another was placed. The two carefully walked along the grass blocks and reached the glowing aqua ore.

“Careful when you mine it, don’t fall into the magma and lt.”

Ayin held the iron pickaxe and told Cousin to set a simple platform beside the ore.

He also removed ordinary stone around the ore, treating the mineral like a relic as he delicately outlined it.

“OK! Hit it!”

Cousin had already built a platform and even surrounded it ensuring the ore wouldn’t fly away.

Clang!

Tap!

Clang!

Tap!

Ayin swung the iron pickaxe repeatedly; crisp mining sounds echoed in the narrow cave.

One strike, two strikes, three...

As cracks spread across the ore’s surface, everyone’s gaze fixed on this mineral that had never appeared in other livestreams!

Clang!

Crack!

With the final swing—

The ore shattered!

A brilliant, pale aqua gem popped out and was automatically sucked into Ayin’s hand!

Under the blazing magma’s reflection, the aqua gem flashed a dazzling seven-color iridescence.

An achievent popped up in the upper-right corner of Ayin’s view—

[Diamond!]

Diamond!

We mined a diamond!

Although it was only one!

Ayin and Cousin exchanged looks full of indescribable joy and excitent!

“Holy— a dia—”

But!

Before Ayin’s shout of amazent could finish!

Suddenly!

From behind them, along the path they had co!

A bone-chilling, ominous sound slowly echoed—

[Ne-ne-neoo—]

[Ka-ra— ka-ra—]

[Hissss—]
