[U.S.M.C]

[Command: Alright boys, we now know Alaszad's possible hiding location within the capital, First Battalion is already en route]

[Command: According to S.A.S intelligence, Alaszad may possess nuclear warheads provided by the Warsaw Pact rebels. Ti is critical]

[Command: Although ard reconnaissance teams and Wildfire fighters have eliminated most enemy air power, Alaszad's ground forces remain a serious threat]

[We must deploy all our forces to capture Alaszad...]

[Deterrence Operation]

[Day Three - 18:25:45]

[Sergeant Paul Jackson]

[United States Marine Corps First Force Reconnaissance Company]

Full force deploynt!

Over thirty thousand U.S. troops had gathered in this Middle Eastern city, launching a massive encirclent operation against Alaszad!

Hideki's First Reconnaissance Company needed to rescue the scattered advance teams that had beco trapped.

Of course, saying "rescue" essentially ant following their comrades and crushing through with overwhelming force.

The advance teams were like scouts in ancient warfare, and now, with the major offensive launched, these surrounded scout teams naturally needed soone to link up with them and integrate them into the main force to avoid friendly fire during subsequent bombing.

Amid the rolling yellow sand, F-22 Raptor fighter jets streaked across the sky, passing overhead.

Air superiority was now almost completely in their hands.

What remained were mostly insignificant RPG-wielding stragglers and machine gun positions.

Currently sitting in the helicopter, gripping the grenade launcher, Hideki watched the approaching town and his comrades splitting off in groups to rescue the advance teams, taking a deep breath.

This was their final assault.

Even if Alaszad had heaven-defying abilities now, he couldn't possibly escape the three-pronged military encirclent.

[Commander: Watch for enemy contact, we need to eliminate large targets to ensure ground safety for the advance team extraction]

These few stages had truly satisfied Hideki's cravings.

Beep! Boom!

He continuously pressed the fire control button, launching grenade after grenade that shattered the scattered enemies between buildings.

In a way, Hideki felt their current operation truly embodied "death from above."

Facing enemy forces with zero air superiority, their helicopters could freely rain down artillery fire.

Each grenade shot created massive explosions.

Even enemy tanks on the ground were nothing but slowly crawling iron turtles before their ard helicopter fleet, easily eliminated with just two shots.

The overall situation was settled!

Alaszad's defeat was irreversible.

[Brute 2-5: Command, this is Brute 2-5, periter enemies have been neutralized, we're preparing to land]

[Command: Received, have transmitted advance team coordinates to you, locations with green flares are where advance teams are surrounded]

[Brute 2-5: Copy that]

Buzz buzz buzz—

As the helicopter slowly descended onto the open ground, Lieutenant Vasquez imdiately issued commands:

"Go! Go! Go! We don't have much ti! Move out imdiately!"

Release the cannon!

Shoulder rifles!

Advance quickly!

Assu defensive positions!

The sequence flowed smoothly.

Even Hideki himself hadn't noticed that after just a few hours of gaplay, he had transford from a complete rookie who panicked upon entering the battlefield and didn't even know where to put his hands, into a well-trained battlefield veteran executing various tactical movents with precision.

Although his movents weren't as polished as his teammates', with occasional minor mistakes,

he was gradually correcting and adapting.

Most importantly, his battlefield ntality had been honed excellently.

For indoor CQB combat, he wouldn't charge recklessly, and during outdoor coordinated advances, he could gradually provide covering fire while advancing with teammates.

This was his growth.

Simultaneously, it seed to be the growth of Sergeant Paul Jackson, whom he portrayed.

Experiencing combat was the best way to temper a soldier, since every ti they walked the edge of death, their battlefield intuition would naturally improve rapidly.

"Advance! Advance! Watch for machine gunners in the left building!"

"Copy! Breach! Watch for enemy contact!"

As the main team advanced forward, Hideki no longer needed reminders.

Seeing the lieutenant wave his hand, he knew he needed to coordinate with the squad to clear obstacles in the left building.

Beep! Thump!

Starting with a flashbang as respect.

Hideki swiftly entered the room, firing two precise shots that perfectly eliminated the enemy covering his eyes in pain:

"Clear!"

"Copy! Advance! Prepare to breach!"

Teammates followed behind, assuming firing positions.

Hideki stepped forward, gripping the door handle:

"Three! Two! One! Breach!"

The door was pushed open, teammates flashed inside, eliminated the enemies within, then set up firing positions in the corridor, watching for potential enemies from both ends:

"I'm covering the corridor."

"Copy,"

Hideki changed position, moving to the side of the first corridor door:

"Preparing to breach, three..."

But before he finished speaking!

Bang bang!

Suddenly, intense gunfire erupted from inside the door, bullets shooting out powerfully!

If this had happened before!

This situation would have shocked Hideki, possibly getting him killed instantly.

But now, Hideki pressed tightly against the wall while using the doorfra as an axis, fanning out with precise shots!

Rat-tat! Rat-tat-tat! Rat-tat!

[Ugh...]

[Ah—!]

Two groans of pain ca from the room.

After waiting a mont, Hideki pulled the door open a crack and tossed in a flashbang: "Flashbang out."

Beep! Thump!!

Kicking the door open violently, Hideki imdiately fired several shots at the two fallen enemies, then touched his earpiece:

"Right room clear, continuing advance."

Whoosh—

A perfectly fluid indoor CQB sequence!

The livestream chat instantly erupted with exclamations—

"Sugoi Hideki-san—!"

'A little peeking doesn't count as cheating'

'So cool, literally textbook indoor assault'

'Feels like he's really trained up'

'Really aweso'

'Mainly this ga's design is so brilliant, with battlefield advances, urban combat, CQB—it's like a comprehensive showcase of modern warfare'

'Really handso, feels like Hideki is perfectly suited for these small-scale precision combat situations like sniping and CQB'

......

Quickly!

With the squad's precise coordination, the reconnaissance company penetrated deep into the town and successfully found three mbers of the advance team.

Hideki had no complaints about such a massive operation just to rescue three people.

Because he had personally watched several teammates die before his eyes, and that was with realistic settings enabled.

That kind of shock and impact, he would probably never forget.

And this was enough to make him understand how precious human life is.

Forget rescuing three advance team mbers—even saving just one would make this operation worthwhile.

"Board! Board! Move! Move!"

As the helicopter crew chief waved his arms, Hideki quickly helped the three rescued comrades board the helicopter for extraction.

However, just after takeoff, a sowhat unexpected ssage ca through the earpiece—

[Command: Brute, attention, we have a new developnt here]

[Brute 2-5: Copy, go ahead]

[Command: SEAL Team Six has discovered a suspected nuclear device at the west side of Alaszad's palace. NEST team is en route. Until this device is confird safe, all forces cease offensive operations, withdraw to the east, over]

[Brute 2-5: Copy, Command, over]

Buzz buzz buzz—

The helicopter ascended, the pilot turning the aircraft to withdraw toward the city's east side along with the other helicopter "Cobra" that had joined the rescue mission.

"Damn—"

Seeing this, Hideki grimaced:

"There really are nukes. Looks like Alaszad escaped, specifically leaving a nuke in the city to lure us in. Good thing the SEALs discovered it in ti..."

However!

Before his words finished!

Suddenly!

Through the earpiece ca a startled cry from the Cobra helicopter flying alongside them: "Fuck! RPG—!!!"

Boooom—!!!

Right before Hideki's eyes!

Cobra's tail rotor instantly exploded!

Scattered explosion fragnts nearly hit his face!

Instantly, the comms channel descended into chaos.

The Cobra pilot's distress calls, the screams of crew mbers, and Lieutenant Vasquez's voice in the earpiece all sounded almost simultaneously!

"Command! This is Brute 2-5! Cobra has been shot down! Request permission to imdiately launch search and rescue!"

[Command: Received, permission granted. But 2-5 be advised, you're not outside the nuclear blast safety radius, understand?]

"Understood!"

Lieutenant Vasquez shouted loudly, then ordered the helicopter to land while standing in the cabin waving for everyone to stand up:

"Move! Move! We need to rescue Cobra!"

"Cobra! What's your status? Report imdiately!"

[Cobra Pilot: I'm at the crash site! Crew mbers... uh... all KIA! I'm trapped! Enemy forces approaching! Need backup!]

"One minute!"

As the helicopter landed!

Vasquez stood by the open cabin door, roaring:

"We only have one minute for rescue! Go! Go! Go!"

Whoosh—

As the lieutenant's command ended, Hideki charged out of the cabin first!

The enemies here were scattered, and as long as they were careful, they didn't pose much threat.

Quickly!

With the squad's close coordination, they reached Cobra's crash site.

Carrying the female pilot back to Brute 2-5 took exactly one minute—no more, no less!

"Lift off! Lift off! Hold on tight! Maximum power—!!!"

Roar roar—

As the helicopter took off again, the war-torn city below grew increasingly distant.

Whew—

At this mont, everyone seed to breathe a sigh of relief.

And now, Command's voice ca through the earpiece—

[Command: All U.S. forces attention, we have confird nuclear weapon threat in the city. NEST team has arrived on scene, attempting bomb disposal. Repeat, we have confird nuclear weapons in the city...]

Crackle.

Suddenly.

A brief static noise ca through the earpiece.

And the next second.

Outside the still-open helicopter door

At the orange-red horizon.

A blinding flash suddenly erupted.
