Comnce!

As the exhibition hall doors swung open, the eagerly awaiting visitors surged forward, instantly filling the exhibition space with bustling noise and activity!

Behind the Golden Wind booth, directly opposite the main exhibition entrance at the Kora booth, Seiichi Nakamura was secretly observing the incoming visitors from backstage, his eyes filled with hope and anticipation.

Two years.

Ever since their confrontation with Golden Wind over the Silent Hill project, nearly two years had passed, and this marked Kora's first major local victory in ga marketing.

Yes.

This ti, the promotional campaign for "Night Owl Island" had been earth-shaking.

Driven by sheer survival instinct, Uekoe Kagemasa had exerted trendous effort, not only mobilizing all his available connections but even making Nakamura suspect he had dipped into his personal savings to secure channels that weren't easily accessible.

Moreover, backed by a massive 357 million promotional budget, the original marketing intensity for "Night Owl Island" could almost be considered one of Kora's most aggressive campaigns ever.

Thus, under the siege of nurous dia outlets and promotional channels, they finally had a chance to redeem themselves, seemingly washing away past sha. Not only had they denied Golden Wind any opportunity to replicate Sekiro's marketing miracle, but they had also thoroughly suppressed the promotion of "Call of Duty" in the Tokyo area, fully demonstrating the host's ho-field advantage.

This will be my battle of revenge, and Kora's battle of revenge.

Standing backstage, watching the crowds heading toward their booth, Seiichi Nakamura's eyes glead with fierce determination.

After this battle, I will beco Kora's true savior in every sense.

With the support of the three major shareholders led by Mr. Ito, I will successfully oust Uekoe Kagemasa and take control of Kora!

Closer, closer, even closer!

As the first wave of visitors approached the booth, Seiichi Nakamura could already see their excited smiles and hear their eager discussions!

However!

Just as Nakamura was eagerly anticipating hearing the first comnt expressing excitent for "Night Owl Island"!

Amid the buzzing cacophony, the voices of the frontmost visitors clearly reached his ears—

"They say Golden Wind is using an entire level for the demo this ti!"

"Really? That's insane!"

"They're going straight with the full version? Why aren't they doing a demo like Resident Evil 7?"

"Apparently because the story's integrity is too high—making a separate demo would ruin the narrative flow."

"Hurry up! We can't waste being this close to the front—we need to get that Early Access!"

"Huh? Kora's booth is here too..."

"h—who cares about Kora? Let's check out Call of Duty first, we can co back to Kora later..."

"True, last year's Torii wasn't that great anyway—just high industrial standards."

"Definitely, let's go, let's go! Looks like people are already lining up..."

......

Whoosh—

Like a tidal wave, players poured through the entrance, then, under Nakamura's stunned and despairing gaze, bypassed the Kora booth, circled halfway around, and sward en masse toward the Golden Wind booth behind them.

One by one, group by group, wave after wave...

Visitors buzzed with excitent, all discussing Golden Wind's latest ga, the Tom Clancy series' Call of Duty.

Even though these visitors had seen "Night Owl Island" advertisents all along their route.

Even though dia coverage still heavily favored "Night Owl Island" at this very mont.

But!

What players were talking about among themselves was "Call of Duty"!

Watching hordes of players flock to Golden Wind's booth while their own booth remained sparsely attended!

In an instant!

Nakamura felt as if all strength had drained from his body. He turned away dejectedly, pulled over a stool, and slowly sat down.

There was a ti when if they had mounted such a campaign, free from Golden Wind's tactical interference, using well-planned widespread marketing to suppress Golden Wind, the outco might have been different.

But alas, ti and again, they had squandered opportunities that should have firmly suppressed Golden Wind. Their repeated mistakes had led to this current situation.

If not for their underestimation during Silent Hill, if not for their negligence with Torii, if not for their indecision with Silent Hill 2...

Too many "ifs."

Yet none could improve their current predicant.

Watching wave after wave of visitors pass by their booth, then turning to see Golden Wind's already overcrowded booth behind them,

"Sigh..."

Nakamura let out a heavy sigh.

Actually, he might have had a chance to consult with forr Executive Director Moriya Tetsuya, who had strong market insights, to ask how to handle this situation.

The problem was...

Now, Moriya was about to take the stage as Vice President representing Golden Wind Gas to deliver a speech...

"...Honor, conspiracy, The Sum of All Fears, and clashes between nations,"

"This is the most sensitive and complex story we've produced since beginning ga developnt,"

"At the sa ti, it's a work that can set the global benchmark for shooter gas,"

"The prelude of modern warfare has been raised, the mission is calling every soldier connected to this conspiracy,"

"Ladies and gentlen, fellow players and dia friends, I announce—"

"Golden Wind's Tokyo Ga Show 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare' actual gaplay experience!"

"NOW BEGINS!!!"

BOOM—!!!

It must be said!

As the man most in sync with Gu Sheng's rhythm, Moriya Tetsuya truly was like another Gu Sheng in this world.

They shared the sa confidence, the sa pride, even their stage presence and ability to inspire were identical!

First there was Gu Sheng's "Make shooters great again," now there's Moriya's "Global shooter benchmark"!

In one word—

Bold!

Most crucially, their boldness wasn't the kind that seed obviously fake and arrogant, but rather a genuinely confident declaration backed by real capability!

In an instant!

The atmosphere on-site exploded!

Amid thunderous applause, players packed in layers cheered with raised arms, with constant whistles and screams!

Queuing players cheered excitedly, and Pew, who had been waiting first in the dia area, joined the crowd in excited shouts:

"GW—! GW—! GW—!"

Then he turned to the cara, showing his livestream audience the slowly opening Call of Duty exclusive motion-sensing pod with its bright green "MW" logo:

"Global shooter benchmark oh my god—!"

"Alright friends! Now, let's see just how amazing this shooter benchmark really is!"

Hum—!

As the motion-sensing pod door closed!

Hum—Rumble—Click—!!!

The roar of the Black Hawk helicopter's rotors!

The raging waves churning across the vast ocean!

Thunder cracking across the sky, the sound of pouring rain rolling in!

Whoosh—

The chat barrage instantly erupted!

Although Pew couldn't see anything yet, just from the imrsive environntal audio, viewers could easily guess—

"Holy shit!!! It's [No Survivors]!!!"

"Isn't this the opening segnt from the trailer!"

"Holy crap—they're starting with the assault mission right away!"

"Damn... I've got goosebumps all over..."

"Here it cos friends, there's light now!"

"Comnce operation! No survivors!"

......

And as viewers discussed!

Tap-tap—Tap-tap-tap—

Decoding sounds crackled to life. In the pitch-black screen, the bottom right corner of Pew's heads-up display showed bright green mission briefing text, also serving as this level's na—

[DAY 1 - 01:23:39]

[SOWHERE IN THE BERING STRAIT]

["SOAP" MACTAVISH, SERGEANT]

[22ND SAS REGINT]

Amid the helicopter's turbulent vibrations, Pew could clearly feel all his senses gradually intensifying as they connected to his neural sensors.

Through his tactical earpiece, coordinating aircraft sent a brief ssage—

[Calling Gun Platform, this is Hamr 2-4, we have visual on target, ETA 60 seconds]

Their own helicopter pilot responded—

[Copy that, 2-4, out]

"Hooo—ly—shit!!!"

Opening his eyes!

There before him sat the veteran with hawk-like eyes from the trailer, cigar in hand, sitting opposite him.

[CAPTAIN PRICE]

In the heads-up display, Pew finally learned the na of this mysteriously captivating veteran.

"This is fucking incredible..."

Sitting in the helicopter, Pew felt his blood boiling with excitent!

The Black Hawk advanced rapidly through the rainy night!

And the ard cargo ship ahead was now within reach!

Comms silent, maintain radio silence!

Playing as the newly joined SAS mber "Soap MacTavish, Sergeant," Pew couldn't help the slight tremor in his voice, betraying his nervousness.

Everything here felt incredibly imrsive—what man could resist the temptation of personally participating in a special forces military operation!

And as he nervously prepared!

"Radio check, keep comms clear, weapons free,"

"Comnce operation,"

"No survivors!"

Swish—!

As Captain Price's voice faded!

Pew watched as the two other mask-wearing teammates drew their H&K-produced suppressed MP5SDs, grabbed the ropes, and began tactical rappelling!

Pew was, after all, an experienced player.

While horror gas were his specialty, this type of shooter ga was still familiar territory for him.

Click!

The rappel clip attached to the nylon rope, Pew followed his teammates' example and descended from the Black Hawk helicopter.

Their chosen landing position was precisely the ard cargo ship's bridge!

Pew had just landed!

Face to face with an enemy on the bridge!

Rain poured down!

The enemy on the bridge stared in shock at the rookie Pew who had descended from the sky, mouth just about to open!

A faint suppressed gunshot sounded!

The bullet shattered the bridge window, entered through the enemy's gaping mouth, and exited through the back of his head, sending out a dark red spray of blood!

Pew looked back in astonishnt!

Captain Price stood calmly holding an identical MP5SD submachine gun, cool as a hunting leopard.

Pfft pfft pfft—

Instantly!

Several nearly inaudible suppressed shots rang out through the rainstorm,

Price: "Bridge clear, moving into ship's interior."

Cold! rciless! Efficient! Sharp!

Consider this!

AI teammates in previous gas like this were basically artificial idiots!

It wasn't that ga companies couldn't create smarter AI—usually they wanted to give players more room to shine.

But this ga was completely different!

Pew looked at his own unused submachine gun, then at his teammates who had already quickly moved to the bridge entrance preparing to breach, and muttered:

"So I'm the dead weight?"

This is fucking ridiculous!

You guys are already going hard? Just locking on like that? Your aim is so accurate it's like you've got aimbot or sothing? Headshots every ti?

But!

Despite his internal complaints!

After all, he was just a rookie—Captain Price and the others were the truly badass veteran special forces soldiers.

This "Call of Duty" imdiately put Pew in his place right from the start!

Peak-level industrial quality, masterful atmosphere creation, reliable teammates, and tense, thrilling infiltration missions!

Taking a deep breath, Pew instinctively imitated his teammates by crouching lower, raising his MP5SD, and entering the bridge!

Listening to Captain Price's follow commands through his earpiece, he cald himself like a professional and responded—
